Click to Subscribe: https://bit.ly/Youtube-Subscribe-SoapDirt Bold and the Beautiful sees Daphne Rose (Murielle Hilaire) returns to LA, with hints of impending heartbreak for Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) concerning his relationship with Hope Logan (Annika Noelle). Grace Buckingham's (unlisted actor) deceit surrounding Liam Spencer's (Scott Clifton) alleged cancer diagnosis is the catalyst for a turmoil-filled week. Grace, who has been drugging Liam to mimic cancer symptoms, is forced by Finn (Tanner Novlan) to admit her ploy to Liam and Hope. The shocking confession, made in the presence of Bill Spencer (Don Diamont), leaves everyone horrified, particularly Hope who's been taking care of Liam. Bold and Beautiful sees the unearthing of Grace's scheme, Hope and Liam's relationship takes the front seat again, raising questions about Hope's feelings for both Carter and Liam. Daphne, eager to be with Carter, seems poised to warn him about his shaky future with Hope, given the resurgence of her feelings for Liam. Daphne's return to LA isn't without reason as she appears ready to help Carter realize that Hope's love for Liam never faded. Bold and the Beautiful sees Daphne's influence on Carter seems likely to grow. She encourages him to test Hope's feelings to see if she fights for their relationship or willingly returns to Liam. In the end, the Bold and the Beautiful paints a picture of a possible couple swap, with Liam winning Hope back and Carter finding solace in Daphne. As climate impacts worsen and costs increase, can humanity unite to scale up climate action before it’s too late? Synopsis: Every first and third Tuesday of the month, The Straits Times analyses the beat of the changing environment, from biodiversity conservation to climate change. The world is in a very dangerous place, says Singapore climate scientist Professor Winston Chow. Right when nations need to be united in fighting climate change, we seem more divided than ever, more focused on what are perceived to be more pressing issues, from cost of living to hot wars and trade wars. But climate change is exacting an ever greater toll and is a today problem, not the “tomorrow problem” that many policymakers believe, Prof Chow tells Green Pulse hosts Audrey Tan and David Fogarty Scorching heat, increasingly costly climate-linked disasters, melting ice caps and rising sea levels – these are threats that need much greater attention from policymakers, including in SE Asia. The good news is that many nations and businesses remain committed to investing in climate adaptation and cutting emissions, such as green energy investments. And sustainability isn’t dead – it’s just good economics to factor in the cost-benefits of greener investing, he says. Have a listen and let us know your thoughts! Highlights of conversation (click/tap above): 2:27 What is your feeling right now given the dark clouds on the climate and policy fronts? 8:41 What is the one thing that has alarmed you? 13:37 Does the average person really understand how serious things are? 18:24 How worried should we be in SE Asia? 20:55 But there is reason for optimism, too, isn’t there? 25:59 What’s your message for those in the climate space? “Don’t lose hope.” Follow Audrey Tan on LinkedIn: https://str.sg/848W Read her articles: https://str.sg/JLM2 Follow David Fogarty on LinkedIn: https://str.sg/jcvy Read his articles: https://str.sg/JLMu Hosts: Audrey Tan (audreyt@sph.com.sg) & David Fogarty (dfogarty@sph.com.sg) Produced and edited by: Hadyu Rahim Executive producers: Ernest Luis & Lynda Hong Follow Green Pulse Podcast here and get notified for new episode drops: Channel: https://str.sg/JWaf Apple Podcasts: https://str.sg/JWaY Spotify: https://str.sg/JWag Feedback to: podcast@sph.com.sg --- Follow more ST podcast channels: All-in-one ST Podcasts channel: https://str.sg/wvz7 ST Podcast website: http://str.sg/stpodcasts ST Podcasts YouTube: https://str.sg/4Vwsa --- Get The Straits Times' app, which has a dedicated podcast player section: The App Store: https://str.sg/icyB Google Play: https://str.sg/icyX --- #greenpulseSee omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

If you are a Christian and are going through a difficult time, where there seems to be no way out, and you are feeling completely discouraged, there is hope for you. God knows what you are facing. He loves you and wants to help you out of all your troubles, no matter how severe, or no matter what you have done. We need to surrender all of our problems to God, and cast our cares on Him, as it says in 1 Peter 5:7. Paul thought he was dead, but God sent His resurrection power to help him. God can turn our dead-end problems into life-giving victories. We rely on His power to make a way when it appears there is no way. Pastor Jeff Edwards spoke about how to not hope when it seems hopeless. With tariffs and wars and certain trends, the world can seem a little hopeless. And are you going through some tough times personally? 1 John 2:12-14 cheers us up. These are quotes from the creator of the universe Himself!
Don't lose hope because of your present circumstances or situations beyond your control. Instead, yield your urge to control everything to the one that is in full control which is our Heavenly Father! He sits high and looks low! He is always on time and in time... nothing catches him by surprise! So don't lose hope.... God is with you wherever you go!
Sunday Morning Sermon with Pastor Jacob Gray from Ten Mile Baptist Church in McLeansboro, Illinois
In this teaching, we dive into 2 Corinthians 4 with a message titled "A Hope That Does Not Lose Heart." Together, we explore what it means to have biblical hope, a steadfast assurance rooted in God's faithfulness, His Word, and the person and work of Jesus Christ. Despite the trials and sufferings we face, this hope enables us to remain unshaken and steadfast. Through Paul's words, we see how suffering, though difficult, is purposeful. It refines us, builds endurance, character, and hope, and prepares us for an eternal glory beyond comparison. Discover how to navigate challenges with unwavering confidence in God's promises and learn how to keep your eyes on the eternal rather than the temporary. Key Points Discussed: The definition of biblical hope – confidence grounded in God's faithfulness. How suffering produces lasting spiritual growth. Why we don't lose heart in trials, focusing on the eternal glory ahead. The ministry, power, and perspective God calls us to in light of His hope.

This passage is rich with encouragement for those discouraged in their evangelism. We are reminded of our responsibility and inability and yet of God's creative ability to save the lost as he reveals the glory of Jesus Christ to them. It serves as a wonderful tonic to those taking gospel ministry seriously. We will look at this under three main headings: 1. Don't Lose Heart (vv. 1–2) 2. Don't Hold Back (vv. 3–4) 3. Don't Lose Hope (vv. 5–6)

Ever wonder about the balance between striving for your dreams and surrendering to a higher plan? Our discussion sheds light on this tension with biblical insights, focusing on the story of Abraham and Sarah. We'll explore the consequences of taking matters into our own hands versus trusting in God's timing, emphasizing the necessity of resting in His promises.
