Dr. Tunisha Singleton is my guest for this episode. Dr. Singleton is a Media Psychologist who studies the influence of the media and technology on the human sports experience which shapes fandom. We started talking about her podcast and how her interest in Media Psychology began. I asked her opinion on the media in covering sports and how can sports leagues do a better job being inclusive. Dr. Singleton also serves as the Board President of Black Girl Hockey Club and we talked about her role and the initiatives that have been developed during her tenure. I could not have ended the podcast without asking for some hot takes on sports, her sports bucket list and stories behind her hilarious tweets while watching sports. This was a fascinating conversation; I hope you enjoy this as much as I did! I appreciate Dr. Singleton for stopping by to drop some knowledge on the podcast! After 30 years of working with people and after obtaining a license as a Clincal Psychologist in 1996 Dr. judy discovered that the process of therapy is way too long, way too ineffectual, and way too confusing. To solve this therapeutic dilemma, Dr. judy has spent the last ten years integrating many psychological theories as well as spiritual studies into an easy-to-follow Mind Map. This trademarked therapeutic tool is the backbone to her new Psychological System she calls: Be The Cause: A 9 Panel Model For Problem Solving And New Paradigm For Therapeutic Change.
