Reality-TV lightning rod LeeAnne Locken returns to the Palazzo Suite for a riotous, no-filter follow-up that ping-pongs from slap-stick panic to soul-baring insight. Pol' is hand-gluing crystals when the puppies lose it—there's a giant snake coiled under his nightstand! LeeAnne narrates the chaos: Patrik's “call 911,” Pol's couture crisis, and a squad of hunky firemen wrestling a 12-foot (?) interloper down four flights of stairs. Drama level: Housewives reunion meets Animal Planet. Snake talk mutates into gallows humor: how to sink a corpse with razor wire, tarps, and cinder blocks—complete with a Home Depot shopping list. (Strictly theoretical, but hilariously vivid.) LeeAnne claims she was Real Housewives of Dallas: convinced Bravo to green-light it, earned only $35 K her first season, took 250 K viewers with her when she quit. She drags “manipulative” Stephanie Hollman, praises Erika Jayne and Lisa Rinna, shades Gizelle Bryant, and predicts Jen Shah will film straight out of the clink. Peacock's millions in streaming residuals? The cast gets zero. The trio swap “skinny secrets”—Ozempic injections, Kim Kardashian's Marilyn-dress crash diet, and the agony of sitting after a BBL. RUNWAY RUNDOWN: Loves: Georgina Chapman's black ruffled couture alongside beau Adrien Brody. Loathes: Selena Gomez's “dated funeral frock.” Debate: Should Brody keep his Oscar nod if AI generated his Hungarian accent? Giving DUI-plagued Karen Huger prison-prep advice (“Pose for photos, build your core”). Outraged at a Qatar flight that left passengers seated beside a dead woman. One-liners like “Shoot me in the taco!” keep Patrik screaming with laughter. LeeAnne breezes through: Brandy Redmond admitted she “farts a lot,” Cameron Westcott fed people pink dog food, Tiffany Moon wore the giant umbrella hat, and more. Pol' flips LeeAnne's Armenian coffee cup and channels her late grandmother Dorothy—the first person who ever loved her unconditionally. He prescribes a seven-month ritual: church, bread-breaking, and a pilgrimage to her family's magnolia-shaded Louisiana graves. LeeAnne dissolves; audiences glimpse the tender heart beneath the carnival-queen bravado. Expect venomous wit, Bravo secrets, couture critique, and an unexpectedly moving communion with Grandma—all in one wildly entertaining hour. Are we sure summer didn't skip spring? The crew plays a wild round of Two Truths and a Lie: Trevin goes full Animal Planet with facts about quokkas, capybaras, and honey badgers, while Amanda brings props and Pop Rocks to test Trevin's sweet tooth and smarts. Then it's time for storytime, where the crimes may be labeled “mischief,” but the drama goes way deeper.

*This is the Free Content version of my interview with Dr. John E. Browning. To access the entire episode, please consider becoming a Tier 1 ‘Gates of Argonath' member, or you can purchase this episode for a one-time fee. My guest this month is Dr. John E. Browning. A professor in the greater Atlanta metropolitan area, John Edgar Browning, Ph.D. has contracted or published 20 academic and popular trade books as well as over 100 shorter works on subjects that cluster around cultural studies, critical media literacy, Dracula, vampires, monstrosity, and horror. Included among his work in film and media studies is his decade-and-a-half-long ethnographic fieldwork with the human or real vampire subculture (a topic in which there are perhaps five scholars worldwide). In addition to academic venues, Browning has published on the real vampire subculture in public forums such as The Atlantic (2015) and Discover Magazine (2015 and 2018), and his unique expertise in this area has helped facilitate several public appearances as a guest scholar on, or service as a consultant for, over two dozen television and streaming networks, professional podcasts, and radio programs, including Discovery channel, National Geographic, Animal Planet, AMC Visionaries: Eli Roth's History of Horror, History channel, Disney+, Netflix, Discover Magazine's “It's Only Science” podcast, Ripley's Believe It or Not, NPR, The Howard Stern Show network, BBC Radio, RTÉ—Ireland's National Television and Radio Broadcaster, Australian Broadcasting Corporation, Georgia Public Broadcasting, and SLATE among others. In this interview, John and I discuss his research into the Real Vampire Community. He talks about his motivation to begin looking into this subculture, as well as what he's learned over the years. As this topic somewhat overlaps with my own research into the Otherkin community, I take the opportunity to ‘compare notes' so to speak, and ask questions to gain more clarity on this group. John also discusses to what degree contemporary expressions of the vampire in popular culture have influenced the real vampire community, and how his research has contributed to changing perceptions of this subculture. He talks about his term ‘defiant culture' as it relates to people who have been labeled ‘Other' or ‘deviant' and also mentions how his research has helped forensic professionals that deal with crimes that seem, on the surface, to involve people who label themselves ‘vampires'. We also touch upon the Temple of the Vampire, a group that is viewed as a religious organization, and how this group relates to the larger vampire community in the US. Dave Salmoni has been a television host, producer, zoologist, animal and animal/adventure expert. His work has ranged from wildlife and adventure, to competition reality, talk show expert and a regular on news outlets for everything and anything animal. Dave is forever that boy with a fascination for large predator cats and he easily enchants your host with his big cat stories. In his early 20s Dave picked up and left for South Africa to work on re-wilding tigers. There, his life changed forever. We talk about communication with animals, sharing a kill with a lion on his birthday, tigers vs lions and hanging with rhinos. We learn his thoughts on tenacity, self-confidence and the significance of wondering harder than being scared. Trying a lot of what-ifs, indeed. Manny Puig is a renowned wildlife expert, animal handler, and television personality, best known for his appearances on the hit TV shows Jackass and Wildboyz. With a deep passion for wildlife and a fearless approach to working with dangerous animals, Manny became a fan favorite on these unconventional, often outrageous, programs. His expertise in handling animals such as alligators, snakes, and crocodiles earned him recognition in the world of animal handling and made him a standout character in the Jackass universe. In addition to his work on these shows, Manny also starred in his own TV series. He had a show on the Outdoor Channel called Savage Wild, where he showcased his skills and knowledge in dealing with the world's most dangerous animals. Later, he became a central figure in Gator Boys, a popular series on Animal Planet that focused on capturing and rescuing alligators, especially in the Florida Everglades. In both shows, Manny's calm demeanor and expertise with reptiles and other wild creatures shone through, making him a trusted figure in the world of wildlife conservation and animal rescue. Manny's career as a wildlife expert extends beyond television. He has spent years studying and working with exotic animals, including sharks, venomous reptiles, and large carnivores. His commitment to conservation and animal welfare is evident in his efforts to educate the public about these often misunderstood creatures, despite the more chaotic nature of his on-screen appearances. Puig's fearlessness and devotion to wildlife have solidified him as a memorable figure in both the reality TV and wildlife communities. We hope you enjoy Manny's story as much as we did. He is truly one of the most remarkable humans we've had the privilege of interviewing on our podcast. Manny's upbringing is nothing short of extraordinary, and his journey could easily fill an entire podcast on its own. Raised in Cuba, his childhood was marked by hardship, including the trauma of his mother being imprisoned and his father's tragic murder. Despite these unimaginable challenges, Manny's resilience and passion for wildlife propelled him to become the incredible person he is today. We hope his story inspires you to feel a deep sense of gratitude for your own journey. Thank you again for joining us, Manny. Your story is one that will stay with us for a long time.

Laurie Dove is a do-er. She likes to keep busy. Alongside writing for numerous places like CNN, Animal Planet, the LA Business Journal, and many more, Laurie was elected local Mayor back in 2015, has a Masters Degree from Harvard, and has just published 'Mask of the Deer Woman'.It tells the story of Carrie Starr. Once a detective in Chicago, Carrie has hit rock-bottom after a personal tragedy and returned to the reservation in which she grew up to be their local Marshal. When a college student goes missing, Carrie must wrestle with the reasons why her own daughter disappeared. We discuss why Laurie has found time to write for pleasure when she makes money writing for other people, also how she dealt with the ambiguity of magical realism, and why she likes to sneak up on the story. You can hear how fiction comes from character, how hard it is to find an organic ending to the first novel in a series, and why the only way to find out how to write novels... is to write novels. This week's episode is sponsored by the 'Charley Scott Mysteries', by Vanessa Westermann. Evan Antin, DVM, is Instagram's most-followed veterinarian with over 1.3 million followers. Antin went viral after being featured in People magazine's Sexiest Man Alive issue in 2014, and again in 2016 and 2017. Dubbed the “sexiest veterinarian,” he took the internet by storm. In February 2019, Antin's new television show, Evan Goes Wild, premiered on Animal Planet. In the show, viewers watch him chase his wildlife bucket list as he swims alongside humpback whales in Tahiti, explores caves with bats in the Philippines, and tangles with crocodiles in the Yucatan. Antin brings his passion and love for all wildlife to each adventure where, as a practicing veterinarian, he also lends a helping hand to animals in need along the way. His summer 2020 Facebook TV show Tusks To Tails with Seeker (under Group Nine) is dedicated to educating viewers about some of our planet's most unique animals and what wild adaptations they have to contribute to their success. Seeker's digital platform is all about bringing accurate, modern science to followers, subscribers, and viewers, and this show is no exception, delivering fascinating, fun, wild information while incorporating a variety of Antin's experience with wildlife so far in his professional career. In 2018 he debuted Happy Pet, his pet wellness brand that is available online. The products use natural and eco-friendly ingredients and are available in 3 categories—clean, fresh, and active. He will be launching his first book, World Wild Vet, in October 2020 with his publisher Henry Holt (under Macmillan). This book covers Antin's life from young wildlife/animal super enthusiast, all the way to his veterinary and wildlife conservation work around the world. Simply put, there is no one alive today who has done more active (Off Camera) fieldwork to prove the existence of yet-to-be discovered animals in remote and sometimes dangerous parts of the world. From the dense jungles of the Congo and Sumatra, to the Deserts of Mongolia, and the Mountains of Nepal, Adam has traveled the world in search of scientific evidence for the existence of these creatures. Adam has actually brought back real scientific evidence of the creatures he has tracked, a feat unmatched by anyone ever in this field so far. Examples of the creatures he has gathered evidence of, and which have astonished, include the Orang-Pendek in Sumatra, the Yeren in China, and the Seljord Serpent in Norway. Indeed, he has even worked on a project with one of the world's leading geneticists, also fascinated by Bigfoot.Adam, an accomplished Animal Tracker since childhood, combines this with his skills in courtroom cross examination, a job he performed for 7 years representing the British Governments Home Office. Adam would love to hunt for unknown creatures round the clock, but for now he can only devote his spare time and money to this passion, just dreaming of what he could really achieve if he had the opportunity to devote all his energy towards the cryptid universe.Adam is a frequent contributor to documentary television programming, including shows such as the History Channel's "MonsterQuest", National Geographic's “Is It Real?” series, Animal Planet's "Finding Bigfoot" and the Science Channel's “Unexplained Files”. His latest books Extreme Expeditions 2: Manbeasts - A Personal Investigation (2014 / 2020 2nd Edition) and Extreme Expeditions 3: Bigfoot Versus The Yeti (2020), followed his hit Extreme Expeditions: Travel Adventures Stalking The World's Mystery Animals (2008 / 2020 2nd Edition). You can read about Adam's most recent expedition to Nepal, searching for the yeti with Josh Gates while filming multiple episodes of “Expedition Unknown” for the Travel Channel, in his newest book Extreme Expeditions 3: Bigfoot Versus The Yeti (2020). “Except for a few unlikely cases like a raging wildfire or tornado barreling straight for your house, bugging out is a very bad idea,” warns former Navy SEAL Joel Lambert, who says the safest place to secure yourself and your loved ones during a national crisis is the fortress you already know: your own home. “Why would you ever want to leave your amazing home where you probably have a half full fridge, maybe some cans, a warm bed, a roof over your head, as well as neighbors you know, and terrain you're familiar with, … only to run OUT THERE to some place you know nothing about and try to forage your daily meals?” explains Lambert, who authored “A Navy SEAL's Bug-In Guide: How to Turn Your House into the Safest Place on Earth” to help others prepare for the unexpected. In 2004, at the age of 53, I found out by accident that I was taken aboard a spacecraft with a friend of mine at the age of 8 or 9. I am 72 now. Many of the memories of my childhood are not what I thought they were. And at times, I am not sure what memories are real and which are the screen memories implanted by the ET's so that I would forget what happened. I have been regressed 7 times by 4 different regression hypnotists, twice by Dolores Cannon herself. Each successive hypnotist confirmed the findings of the previous one, so there is finally no doubt these events actually happened to me. This is my book about a seminal moment in my life during my alien abductions. The chapters are blow by blow accounts of my regression tapes and were transcribed by me into this book.BioI have been researching Sasquatch for well over a decade. I have led expeditions into the deep forests of America. I have seen them, heard them, and seen incredible physical evidence of their actual existence. I have also interviewed over 200 witnesses and counting. They have told me some fascinating events, some of which defy logic. Yet, I continue to hear these claims over and over. A pattern of behavior and possible esoteric skill sets has emerged, and these HAVE to be investigated, and should at least be CONSIDERED by anyone calling themselves a researcher. I am not saying you must believe, but at least consider that perhaps, some of what you hear might actually be happening. These witnesses, and the public, need your open mind.I have led four public expeditions, consulted on 2 Finding Bigfoot TV shows for Animal Planet, had close to 100 reports published to a well known Sasquatch page and I continue to physically monitor ongoing Sasquatch activity at multiple public & private locations.https://www.amzn.com/dp/B0CY7BHWDChttps://sqexplorer.com/ https://www.pastliveshypnosis.co.uk/https://www.patreon.com/alienufopodcast

Whale Wars Star and founder of Sea Shepherd, Captain Paul Watson, has been imprisoned since July in Greenland! The anti-whaling hero has applied for political asylum in France as he fights off attempts by Japan to get him extradited to that nation where he could end up behind bars for 15 years. Activists around the world are demanding that Watson be released immediately with protests from Los Angeles to France outside Danish government offices. Watson was first arrested back in July when his ship docked in Greenland, which is park of the kingdom of Denmark. Danish authorities are still deciding whether to extradite him. Japan is one of the few nations that still engages in whaling. Environmentalists and animal lovers across the globe are outraged that any government would side with whalers at a time when our seas and the animals in them are in crisis. UnchainedTV's Jane Velez-Mitchell speaks with Omar Todd, Global CEO of the Paul Watson Foundation. https://www.paulwatsonfoundation.org/

Tyler Bounds was raised in the foothills of the Cascade Mountains inNW Washington, which is also deep in the heart of Bigfootland, whichsurely had something to do with his fascination with the Sasquatchphenomenon from a very young age. He had a sighting of two apparentbigfoots at the age of 4 or 5, and this started his lifelong interestin the subject. In 1992 he traveled to Bluff Creek, CA on a solo"expedition", and that is when the bigfoot bug really took hold. 15years later he went on his first BFRO expedition, and soon afterbecame an Investigator, Researcher and Expedition Organizer with thegroup, organizing and facilitating several bigfoot expeditions aroundthe country, but with a particular focus on the Pacific Northwest-Washington, Idaho, Oregon and Northern California.A few years later, during the inaugural season of the popular cabletelevision show "Finding Bigfoot", he was asked to be a permanentmember of the production crew, and traveled the country looking forbigfoots, camping out, interviewing witnesses, and raising a generalruckus. Late 2014 was the end of an era with Animal Planet, but alsothe beginning of a new project. He joined forces with some like-mindedfolks and joined up with Pacific Northweird, a Cascadian investigativeparanormal-comedy-art freakshow focusing on the weirdness of thePacific Northwest (Pacific Northweird, get it?) that can be seen onthe YouTube machine. My special guest tonight is Cliff Barackman who is a Bigfoot Field Researcher and Co-Host of Animal Planet's Finding Bigfoot www.CliffBarackman.com Alleged behavior Some Bigfoot researchers allege that Bigfoot throws rocks as territorial displays and for communication.[80][81][82] Other alleged behaviors include audible blows struck against trees or "wood knocking", further alleged to be communicative.[83][84][85] Skeptics argue that these behaviors are easily hoaxed.[86] Additionally, structures of broken and twisted foliage seemingly placed in specific areas have been attributed by some to Bigfoot behavior.[87] In some reports, lodgepole pine and other small trees have been observed bent, uprooted, or stacked in patterns such as weaved and crisscrossed, leading some to theorize that they are potential territorial markings.[88]Some instances have also included entire deer skeletons being suspended high in trees.[89] In Washington state, a team of amateur Bigfoot researchers called the Olympic Project claimed to have discovered a collection of nests, and they had primatologists study them, with the conclusion being that they appear to have been created by a primate.[90] Many alleged sightings are reported to occur at night leading to some speculations that the creatures may possess nocturnal tendencies.[91] However, experts find such behavior untenable in a supposed ape- or human-like creature, as all known apes, including humans, are diurnal, with only lesser primates exhibiting nocturnality.[92] Most anecdotal sightings of Bigfoot describe the creatures allegedly observed as solitary, although some reports have described groups being allegedly observed together.[93] Alleged vocalizations Alleged vocalizations such as howls, screams, moans, grunts, whistles, and even a form of supposed language have been reported and allegedly recorded.[94][95] Some of these alleged vocalization recordings have been analyzed by individuals such as retired U.S. Navy cryptologic linguist Scott Nelson. He analyzed audio recordings from the early 1970s said to be recorded in the Sierra Nevada mountains dubbed the "Sierra Sounds" and stated, "It is definitely a language, it is definitely not human in origin, and it could not have been faked".[96] Les Stroud has spoken of a strange vocalization he heard in the wilderness while filming Survivorman that he stated sounded primate in origin.[97] The majority of mainstream scientists maintain that the source of the sounds often attributed to Bigfoot are either hoaxes, anthropomorphization, or likely misidentified and produced by known animals such as owl, wolf, coyote, and fox.[98][99][100] Alleged encounters A story from 1924, often referred to as the "Battle of Ape Canyon", presents miners being attacked by large, hairy "ape men" that threw rocks onto their cabin roof from a nearby cliff after one of the miners allegedly shot one with a rifle.[101] In Fouke, Arkansas in 1971, a family reported that a large, hair-covered creature startled a woman after reaching through a window. This alleged incident was later deemed a hoax.[102] In 1974, the New York Times presented the dubious tale of Albert Ostman, a Canadian prospector, who stated that he was kidnapped and held captive by a family of Bigfoot for six days in 1924 in Toba Inlet, British Columbia.[103] The 2021 Hulu documentary series, Sasquatch, describes marijuana farmers telling stories of Bigfoots harassing and killing people within the Emerald Triangle region in the 1970s through the 1990s; and specifically the alleged murder of three migrant workers in 1993.[104] Investigative journalist David Holthouse attributes the stories to illegal drug operations using the local Bigfoot lore to scare away competition, specifically superstitious immigrants, and that the high rate of murder and missing persons in the area is attributed to human actions.Follow Our Other ShowsFollow UFO WitnessesFollow Crime Watch WeeklyFollow Paranormal FearsFollow Seven: Disturbing Chronicle StoriesJoin our Patreon for ad-free listening and more bonus content.Follow us on Instagram @mysteriousradioFollow us on TikTok mysteriousradioTikTok Follow us on Twitter @mysteriousradio Follow us on Pinterest pinterest.com/mysteriousradio Like us on Facebook Facebook.com/mysteriousradio
