Money isn't just about numbers—it's about how we think, act, and navigate the world. *The Psychology of Money* reveals that true wealth isn't built through secret formulas or risky investments but through small, consistent choices that compound over time. Success comes not from brilliance but from behavior—discipline, patience, and the ability to manage emotions in the face of uncertainty. It's about learning to save more than you earn, understanding the quiet power of compounding, and embracing the unpredictability of life with a mindset that thrives in uncertainty. Real wealth, after all, isn't about what's flashy—it's about freedom, security, and the choices we make every day.Key Takeaways1. Behavior Over Brilliance – Success with money isn't about knowing the perfect formula. It's about discipline, consistency, and making smart decisions over time. The hardest part isn't the math—it's actually starting and staying on track. 2. Save More Than You Earn – Wealth isn't about high-risk investments; it's about smart saving and living below your means. Financial security isn't just about making money—it's about keeping it. 3. The Magic of Compounding – Small, consistent investments in money and habits lead to exponential growth over time. Whether it's financial investing or personal growth, the key is consistency. 4. Embrace Uncertainty – Financial and life outcomes are unpredictable. The best way to navigate uncertainty is by building strong systems, planning for risks, and maintaining flexibility in your approach. 5. True Wealth is Invisible – Real financial freedom isn't about flashy spending; it's about security, freedom, and the ability to make choices based on what truly matters.

Is Delulu really the Solulu? Pyschology would say...yes! There are many theories in psychology that back the reasoning behind why it can be good to be delusional. Being delusional doesn't necessarily mean living in denial, and can actually be used as a tool to help us accomplish everything that we dream of and desire. Ideally, we want to embody a version of ourselves who can see the challenges but hold a knowing that we can find the solutions and not feel intimidated by circumstances. We will reponed out of a new belief system in a mature and stable way: There are many psychological reasons that prove being delusional works: 1. Self fulfilling prophecy - We are likely to experience that which we believe to be true about ourselves, our circumstances, and others. 2. The reticular activating system - Our brains own, "filter", which allows us to focus on what it is that we assume to be true or present in our reality. 3. The Cognitive Triangle - Thoughts/beliefs affect Emotions/feelings which affect Actions/behaviors. Next time you find yourself facing an undesireable circumsatnce or a situation that the current version of you dosent believe they are able to fix or participate in, ask yourself what beliefs you need to change to be able to deal with this circumstance or participate in this disired expereince. Ask yourself, what is the version of you who already has this? What is the version of you who knows the solution? *THIS WEEKS JOURNAL PROMPT* What limiting beliefs are holding you back from reaching your potential? Love you all so, so much! In this episode Judith Germain speaks to Jim Marshall about engineering the human pysche. Jim discusses his discovery of a natural phenomena called Septemics which is a practical philosophical system that analyses human phenomena. He claims that his book will greatly improve the lives of those who utilise it. He explains that he discovered and developed a system of 35 scales to evaluate human behaviour and improve individuals or groups. By understanding and moving up the levels of these scales, Jim believes that people could achieve their goals faster and easier. They discuss the concept of scales and how they can be used to understand people better. Jim shares that spotting someone's level on a scale is based on insight and observation, and gives an example of how someone could use a scale to analyse a difficult relationship. Jim's big claim is that his system could be used to analyse and solve any type of issue or difficulty that a person may have, regardless of the area it pertains to. He also mentions that the system is user-friendly and accessible to anyone who wants to improve themselves, except for individuals who are evil or mentally ill. An interesting conversation exploring whether it's possible to real solve any human behaviour problem just by utilising the scales in his book. Have you ever heard “nice guys finish last?” Imagine this: you're super nice, know how to flirt with women, but after months of talking to an attractive woman, you get rejected. It always seems to go well until you fall in love with her, only to have it spat back in your face. Most men after years of being the “nice guy” are fed up (and rightly so.) They decide to become an alpha male. They go to the gym, learn “game”, try their hand at pick-up artistry, and for a few dates they're successful. But most of these alpha males hit rock bottom years into their new identity, only to be a repressed shell of their former self. So if getting shredded and becoming an alpha male isn't the answer, then what is? On today's episode, you'll discover how to magnetize women to your presence (without being an alpha male or a nice guy.) You'll also discover the 8 step process to open the floodgates to lasting happiness and true fulfillment. Listen now! Show Highlights: The sneaky trait from “American Psycho” which blocks you from experiencing unconditional love and inner peace (1:51) How preventing your girlfriend from putting a knife in the toaster sabotages your relationship with her (2:26) If you have (this personality trait), discover how dating your mom could be more satisfying than dating Dua Lipa (7:07) How dressing up like Jack Black unlocks a harem of women (and why dressing up like James Bond mutilates your chances with the exact same women) (16:53) Why adopting the opposite of “Machiavellian gameplay” magnetizes women and worthiness (21:38) Why consuming self-development content on YouTube eliminates passionate lovemaking sessions from your life (29:51) Does your neediness, fear, or insecurity sabotage your success with women? Do you feel you may be unlovable? For more than 15 years, I've helped thousands of people find confidence, fulfillment, and loving relationships. And I can help you, too. Here's a true story: James was at a party with his girlfriend. There was a hilarious, tall, and handsome dude who kept making her laugh — obnoxiously loud. She was giving him attention and practically ignoring James. And the jokes he made? They fell flat on their face — she didn't laugh at all. At first, he started to think, “Damn, I suck.” But after a while, his mind began to race with questions: Is he actually funny, or is she laughing way too hard to get his attention? Should I bring this up with her? Should I work on my own humor and social competence? Should I let go of my jealousy somehow? Or maybe I should just hit the gym and become a 21st-century Arnold? Stop. There are 3 big issues with this type of thinking. These issues potentially lead to you being emotionally manipulative — and sabotaging your relationship because of it. On today's episode, you'll uncover why sharing your insecurities is actually a subtle form of emotional manipulation. You'll also discover how falling madly in love with an ugly French bulldog matures your attitude towards women (and magnetizes unconditional love.) Listen now! Show Highlights Include: An exclusive Facebook group where you'll uncover the biggest sexual complaints women have about men (1:41) Discover the 23 “telltale signs” required for a passionate and loving relationship full of steamy lovemaking (and avoid countless years in a dead end and lifeless relationship) (3:40) When is it just a lack of physical attraction or just your jealousy? (not knowing could leave you blind to potential cheating and flirting with other men behind your back) (5:34) The harmful vulnerability mindset 95% of men possess that sabotages your relationship by forcing her to “do all the dirty work” (11:34) Adopt the “Marlboro Man” attitude to unlock a sensuous bond with your girlfriend (and why seeking praise, approval, and motivation is a surefire way to ruin to a relationship) (13:56) How drinking “old wine” may result in a 50-year marriage with 2 kids and 4 grandchildren (14:42) Why looking like Brad Pitt and owning multiple Ferraris betrays your loved ones for momentary pleasures (17:00) The insidious way trying to be funny creates relationships cursed to fail from the very beginning (22:42) Insecure about your attractiveness? Here's how to flip the narrative on its head — in your favor — by asking her, “are you slutty enough?...” (31:23) Does your neediness, fear, or insecurity sabotage your success with women? Hello friends this is a Stand Up! with Pete Dominick production special "Gen Zeries" with Aimee Chase! This series of conversation are my effort to connect with younger people so that I can have a better understanding as to how they see themselves and the world they are coming up behind us in. I know lots of folks who listen to the show that are around my age or within a 20 years or so who have kids or even grandkids now that are Generation Z. So I think that this series also helps me understand and relate to my own kids so that I can be a better dad and not an old fashion bitter curmudgeon. I hope that you find these conversations as interesting as I do having them. Today's special guest is my friend Aimee Chase. Aimee is my friend and mentor Steve Chase's daughter. Aimee is a psychotherapist who has two masters degrees and a bachelors degree. Aimee has worked with an extremely diverse group of populations as a therapist. She spent four years working in Washington DC at the National Capitol Treatment and Recovery Center, she has travelled to and lived in India 4 times. Aimee is trained musician who founded the student climate and conservation Congress in 2009 while she was still in high school. I could go on and on about her accomplishments and also about the adversities that she has had to overcome. Last year she was diagnosed with cancer and we talk about her treatment and positive outlook, we also discuss her losing a friend to suicide in high school and how all of us were traumatized by the global pandemic. I think it's a fascinating conversation and to learn more about Aimee find her online Here is her about section from her Psychology Today profile About I enjoy working with clients of all ages and genders who are coping with anxiety, ADHD, depression, low self-esteem, complex grief, addiction, life transitions, co-dependency, identity and existential issues. I also have extensive experience working with people who are struggling with ambivalence surrounding change, goal-setting, and motivation. I am an empathetic clinician who is passionate about helping individuals achieve their goals, gain greater insight into themselves, and create meaning in their lives. I approach therapy as a collaborative journey, one where I walk alongside individuals, at their own pace, as they explore, heal, and grow. My approach is holistic and person-focused in nature, with influences from attachment theory, existentialism, and cognitive-behavioral theory. I believe it is essential to consider clients' individual social and cultural contexts, past and present experiences, early attachment relationships, and individual goals as a part of the therapeutic process. Today on episode 60 I'm pleased to welcome back Chris Mamula, who you may recall from episode 3. Chris is a writer, author, and partner at CanIRetireYet.com, who achieved financial independence at age 41 to pursue a life centered around family and the outdoors.Beginning in early 2022, in search of a new challenge, Chris completed the education and exam necessary to become a Certified Financial Planner (CFP). Two questions emerge from this development:Why would someone who theoretically doesn't need to work begin a new career? How can someone who harbors admittedly dogmatic views against the financial advice industry find a comfortable home working in this field?Today we discuss the different kinds of financial advisors, the nature of complex incentives in professional financial advice, Chris's recommended approach to choosing a financial advisor, and so much more about behavior, psychology, and the tangled emotions of money management.
