On LGHL’s Outside the Shoe podcast, we talk all things Ohio State athletics that happen outside the confines of the Horseshoe. In today’s episode, Meredith recaps the current Ohio State men’s ice hockey season and looks ahead to the No. 11 Buckeyes’ matchup with No. 6 Penn State in State College this weekend. Ohio State is looking to bounce back after losing their last two matchups in a series against No. 3 Notre Dame, but the Nittany Lions present a formidable foe with the No. 3 scoring offense in the NCAA. Penn State sits atop the Big Ten standings, but there’s a lot of hockey left to be played, and a series win on the road for the Buckeyes could certainly position Ohio State well down the stretch.
