The chip shortage may be winding down, but there are still a few parts that didn't make it to the other side. To wit: the TCS34725 color sensor, a mainstay in so many Adafruit projects (https://learn.adafruit.com/products/1334/guides) has been discontinued (https://www.digikey.com/en/products/detail/ams-osram-usa-inc/TCS34725FN/3737685). We loved this sensor as it had a few nice things going for it: Red/Green/Blue and Clear diode sensors, IR blocking/cut filter, INTerrupt output, I2C communication, and a low cost of under $2 in quantity. We may not be able to get the exact same sensor, but let's try to find something with as much overlap as possible. Pfeiffer is known for his highly sophisticated use of digital technologies and new media, and has created celebrated works of video, photography, installation and sculpture since the late 1990s. Using digital erasure, magnification, and repetition, Pfeiffer samples and retouches images or video footage from sporting events, concerts, game shows and Hollywood films to enhance their psychological effects. By drawing attention to certain aspects of visual culture and concealing others, he underlines the spectacular nature of contemporary media and its consumption. Pfeiffer's videos are often presented using unusual monitors and hybrid hardware, further emphasizing the ostracizing effect of the found footage and incorporating a crucial sculptural element to the work. Pfeiffer has had one-person exhibitions at the Whitney Museum of American Art (2001); the Museum of Contemporary Art Chicago (2003 and 2017-18); the National Gallery of Victoria, Melbourne (2005); MUSAC León, Spain (2008); the Hamburger Bahnhof, Berlin (2009) and Sammlung Goetz, Munich, Germany (2011). Pfeiffer has presented work in major international exhibitions in recent years, including the Performa Biennial and the Honolulu Biennial in 2019 and the Toronto Biennial and Seoul Mediacity Biennale in 2022. Pop brothers Hanson shocked music fans when their smash hit MMMBop took the world by storm 25 years ago and they did the same during a rare appearance in the Perth Live studio on Friday afternoon. Brothers Isaac, 41, Taylor, 39 and Zac, 36 looked unrecognisable as they told host Oly Peterson how their lives have changed since the 1997 release, which turned the American trio into heartthrobs and household names. Six albums and 15 kids later, the group is in Perth for their new tour, each writing five songs for their new album Red Green Blue.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

Hello and welcome back to another episode of Everyday English with E2. Each week, we focus on English grammar, vocabulary or pronunciation, and this week it's all about vocabulary. So many students think they need to learn new words to improve their English. And they're not wrong. New words are great! But you'd be surprised how much easier and more meaningful it can be if you just learn slightly different meanings that come from words you may already know. In this episode, we look at different meanings from "colour" words such as red, blue and green. Remember... if you need extra practice with your English vocabulary – you can do this by going to www.e2english.com

25-years ago MMMBop was nominated for two Grammies and topped the charts in at least 12 countries. Now the Hanson brothers have released their latest album Red Green Blue, a project of three works the brothers wrote and produced independently.
Episode 309 - This week on the show I talk to the legendary Taylor Hanson of (of course) Hanson! From their start in the music industry at a very young age to his life now as a married father of 7, he takes us through the incredible 30 year career that Hanson has had. What was it like to have a worldwide hit so young? How did they hold it together over the 25 years since MMMbop? We talk about all that and of course we get into their brand new (and awesome) record, “Red Green Blue”, out now on all platforms! Huge thanks to Taylor's publicist Samantha for the lovely introduction! Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices
Today we review Hanson's newest album "Red Green Blue" that was released on May 20, 2022
After 30 years as a band, Hanson's latest release, RED GREEN BLUE, is an amalgamation of a 5-song mini album created by each individual brother. Red for Taylor, Green for Isaac and Blue for Zac! See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
Hanson sits down to talk with iHeartRadio's Shannon Burns about 30 years of being a band (and 25 of Middle of Nowhere) and shoutout their Canadian Fans. Hanson tells Shannon all about their new record Red Green Blue, purposefully losing the collaborative element, but keeping a consistency between the merging of the projects and more. Hanson tells Shannon Burns about their favourite songs on the album (or at least try to) and talk about the secret harmonies only family member bands can have!
It's been thirty years since brothers Isaac, Taylor, and Zac Hanson started making music together, but despite growing up under the spotlight they've retained an incredibly strong sense of self. In this chat with Fearne, they talk about the role their parents and faith played in helping them stay grounded in a turbulent world. They also give an insight into the unique role each of them plays in the band, and share their thoughts on social media and the way it drives us to feel we have to have opinions on things we might not be qualified to comment on.Hanson's latest album, ‘Red Green Blue' is released on May 20th, and their UK tour starts on June 26th. We all know the success that Hanson had in 1997, from "MMMBop" to "Where's The Love" and the mania that followed. Hanson are celebrating 30 years of music with "Red Green Blue" - coming out May 20. This time around, it's each band member working separately, rather than a collaborative effort, to write and record. We'll hear all the stories of how this came together during covid and the usual dilemmas of releasing music when you can't tour. Hanson are a machine, they survived record company takeovers, having 80 songs rejected and then deciding to launch their own record company - which was a genius move. Also since the podcast is called "The Rider" - you'll hear what Hanson have in their green room and what the usual demands are. This is Taylor Hanson, on The Rider with Becko
Zac from the band Hanson joins Rae on a Songwriter Trysts intimate podcast with a personal account of their band, how and why they had the achievements they did from such a young age, how they have evolved and what amazing people they have had the chance to work with. Now with a cool new Hanson album which in a way is a compile of three separate EP's one from each brother where each of them wrote 5 songs and will release them all together. Fatherhood, life, music industry, faith and lockdown are just some of the topics that come up during this chat about their new music. Hanson are releasing their album RED GREEN BLUE with a world tour, they are a 3 x Grammy Award-nominated pop-rock trio selling over 16 million albums and performed concerts to over 3 million fans. Get prepared for the greatness of their music to hit your playlists really soon.
