Today, the annual Conservative Political Action Conference gets underway in earnest in Dallas, Texas. CPAC is the year's single most important gathering of American patriots and this particular meeting promises to be especially so. That's because on March 3rd, 1.9 million Texan voters supported Proposition 10 in the state's Republican primary. In so doing by a margin of 95-5%, they endorsed these five words: “Texas should prohibit sharia law.” It is nothing short of providential that, in the immediate aftermath of that epic vote, thousands of political candidates, activists and donors are going to be convening in a city squarely in the crosshairs of sharia-supremacists intent on conquering, not just Texas, but the rest of the country, as well.  We hope to launch a powerful movement at CPAC 26 with candidates taking the Sharia-Free Pledge. It's hard to keep up with developments in the war with the apocalyptic Iranian regime that has brutally repressed its own people and endlessly threatened, and periodically attacked, ours for nearly fifty years.  The question is whether a man who has been at the heart of that government and directly responsible for many of its horrifying atrocities – including the mass murder of countless Iranians who responded to President Trump's call to overthrow the ayatollahs – is a man with whom we now can safely and prudently do business. Mohammed Ghalibaf may be the Iranian parliament's speaker. But he's also a top general in the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps – a committed and dangerous jihadist. President Trump has indicated that the United States is now involved in negotiations with a surviving top, but as-yet-unidentified, Iranian official.  Press accounts indicate the interlocutor is Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps General Mohammed Ghalibaf. If true, that would mean the President thinks that perhaps the regime's most vicious butcher of the Iranian people is a candidate for the so-called “Venezualan solution.” Put simply, that's a non-starter. Making a deal that leaves such a monster in charge of Iran would not only be an odious betrayal of that nation's long-suffering population. It would also be seen throughout the region and among the world's sharia-supremacists elsewhere as a victory for the jihadists. And it would ensure that the war will continue, almost certainly under less favorable circumstances for us. President Trump has made no secret of his ambition to “take Cuba” next. Mike Arnold is the Nigerian government's worst nightmare. This longtime missionary has singlehandedly shattered its false narratives about, and complicity with, jihadists genocidally persecuting and murdering that nation's Christians.  So, the sharia-supremacists ruling in Abuja and their allies here have sought to prevent Mike from addressing a briefing about this catastrophic bloodletting next week in the House of Reprepresentatives. Shockingly, they were abetted by the International Religious Freedom Summit, a group deeply penetrated by the Muslim Brotherhood and, consequently, prioritizing so-called “interfaith dialogue” – the Brothers' code words for promoting submission to Islam – over robustly defending those persecuted for following Jesus.  Fortunately, a faithful champion of international religious freedom, New Jersey Rep. Chris Smith, has arranged a program at which Mike Arnold will appear. Steve Bannon declared on his War Room program yesterday, “We're in a war now, so we gotta win it. And we have to win it in a smart way to make sure the blood and treasure is not needlessly spilled. But we're in it and we have to have victory.” This statement marks a significant, and very welcome, break by my old friend from those who fail to understand our time's central reality: We confront a global threat from adherents to Islam's totalitarian sharia ideology that explicitly seeks the destruction of Western civilization. New York Mayor Zohran Mamdani visited his city's notorious Rikers Island prison this week to break the Ramadan fast with inmates there. In so doing, he promoted yet again Islam and encouraged conversion to it. Mamdani's excursion called attention to a troubling fact: Large numbers of convicts have done just that. Thanks in no small measure to the Muslim Brotherhood's success dating back to the Clinton administration in insinuating its chaplains into federal and other prisons, what is arguably the most dangerous population in America has been assiduously recruited to sharia-supremacism by a group two governors have designated as a terrorist organization. While Democrats are resisting needed electoral reforms in the SAVE America Act, there's one they are very keen on: restoring the voting rights of felons after their incarceration ends. President Trump is insisting that the U.S. Senate approve the SAVE America Act that would make vitally needed reforms to voter registration and balloting nationwide. So are the American people. A new McLaughlin poll conducted for Tea Party Patriots found overwhelming support by Republicans, Democrats and independents for the purpose of this legislation: namely, ensuring that only U.S. citizens vote.   The only reason for opposing the SAVE America Act is to ensure instead that non-citizens can impact our elections. In practical terms, that means they can not only vote illegally. They can nullify the votes of Americans.   Presidential and popular support for the SAVE America Act has compelled Senate Majority Leader John Thune to ensure it gets a vote soon. For over four decades, the people of Iran have yearned to be liberated from the mullahocracy that has brutalized them. Thanks to the U.S. and Israeli militaries, they finally have a real opportunity to secure their freedom. Yet, some contend the absence since Operation Epic Fury's launch of the mass demonstrations of the past indicate Iran's people are no longer a key potential ally in its success. This ignores the fact that American and Israeli officials have insisted they stay home pending the further dismantling of the regime's security apparatus that murderously suppressed the most recent ones. Evidently, however, Iranians are now materially contributing to regime change by providing lethal targeting information about the location of checkpoints the ayatollahs' thugs have set up to control and kill would-be demonstrators.  As the late, great champion of freeing Iran, Michael Ledeen, would say, “Faster.”  This is Frank Gaffney.  

This is Frank Gaffney with the Secure Freedom Minute. At this hour, a dangerous fire is raging in an industrial complex in south Texas. It is too early to tell whether it was the result of an attack – let alone whether, if so, those responsible are tied to Iran's regime.  One thing is clear, however: Official warnings and those of highly regarded former national security professionals indicate that, at least as long as the mullahs cling to power, it's a matter of time before we are subjected to such sabotage, and possibly much worse.   For example, former CIA spy “Sam” Faddis notes that the new Iranian supreme leader has explicitly promised to hit “where the enemy has little experience and where it would be highly vulnerable.” Some persist in believing that there's a negotiated alternative to decisive victory over such an adversary. While the world's attention is understandably increasingly focused on Iran's ongoing attacks on commercial shipping in the Strait of Hormuz and Persian Gulf, fresh attention is needed on another potential threat involving merchant vessels.     Specifically, the regime's dead-enders are assessed to be capable of using such ships to bring drones and perhaps even short-range ballistic missiles within striking distance of our shores. Coast Guard intelligence reportedly was behind recent warnings that Iran's unmanned aerial vehicles, better known as drones, could be launched against targets in California. And Committee on the Present Danger: China Chairman Brian Kennedy reminded our webinar yesterday of previous Iranian tests of ship-launched ballistic missiles simulating the delivery of a devastating electromagnetic pulse attack on our homeland.   Such threats are just two more reasons why we must secure the end of the mullahocracy and the liberation of Iran now.   This is Frank Gaffney.  

In all the Monday morning quarterbacking about the war with Iran, one assumption keeps popping up. The widely shared premise of government officials, present and former, assorted pundits and other commentators is that ending the monstrous Iranian regime is an option, not mandatory. A powerful Victory Coalition webinar yesterday made two things abundantly clear. The decision President Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu made to preemptively attack Iran was not a war of choice. It was a necessity. And so is the elimination of the apocalypse-seeking ayatollahs and what's left of their security apparatus. House Speaker Mike Johnson declared yesterday that “Sharia is not compatible with the U.S. Constitution.” Neither is the sharia-supremacist Iranian theocracy that, if it can, absolutely, positively will cataclysmically destroy our constitutional republic.  Our security requires the liberation of Iran. Sharia Imperils the State of the Union   This is Frank Gaffney with the Secure Freedom Minute. President Trump has offered differing assessments of how the war with Iran is progressing, how close it is to a successful conclusion and what comes next with respect to that nation's government.  One thing seems clear: The Chinese Communist Party has a lot riding on the outcome. It needs access to cheap, sanctions-busting oil imports from Iran. Its air defenses and other weapons have been deployed widely there – and have not performed well, with adverse implications for their marketing elsewhere.  And the resulting external pressures only exacerbate China's serious domestic economic, political and demographic challenges.  So, will Chinese dictator Xi Jinping respond to these difficulties by deferring his plans for aggression against Taiwan and other U.S. interests? Keeping track of how the war with Iran is going, let alone where it's going, is challenging.  A key development from the latest phase of the Iranian regime's war against us and most of the rest of the world – in which it has engaged since 1979 – has resulted in tectonic shifts in the Middle East. The United States and Israel have been joined by key European nations and a number of important Arab ones.  While it remains to be seen how this coalition hangs together, the fact that it has formed up at all further seals the ayatollahs' fate. Provided, that is, President Trump continues to insist on their unconditional surrender. Combined with sustained efforts to destroy the regime's security apparatus, that stance holds the greatest promise for regional peace and the return of Iran to the community of civilized nations. Donald Trump has long sought, and earned, the title of peacemaker. Unfortunately, history's replete with treaties, accords and deals that failed to produce real and enduring ends to various conflicts. Our president is in the process of achieving a descriptor that is much more rare, and of far greater consequence: “Trump the Liberator.” While still very much a work in progress, the changes he has wrought in Venezuela and those now taking shape in the wake of his partnership with Israel in dismantling the Iranian regime holds the promise of freeing more people than anyone since Ronald Reagan. The Venezuelan opposition is now increasingly operating openly. The Lebanese government is publicly declaring it will defang Hezbollah. And Mr. Trump's announced intention to play a role in selecting the next leader of Iran are all indicators of very promising – and liberating – trends.  Let's roll. This is Frank Gaffney.  

Communist China is seeking to mediate a cessation of hostilities with Iran and, if possible, save its puppet regime there. The transparent ulterior motive, however, is to ensure continued Chinese access to Iranian oil exports.   That agenda has become critical with President Trump's successful removal of Venezuela's Nicholas Maduro and his subsequent control over that other main supplier of oil for the Chinese Communist Party. Suddenly, the tables have turned on Xi Jinping, who was using his monopoly on processed rare earth minerals and dumping of U.S. Treasuries to extract concessions from Mr. Trump and erode the dollar's status as the world's reserve currency.   It remains to be seen how the President will wield his new-found leverage over our mortal enemy, the CCP.   Yesterday, voters in Texas decisively affirmed Proposition 10 in the Republican primary with its five-word mandate: Texas should prohibit Sharia law. With the support of 95% of those responding, banning Sharia—Islam's toxic, totalitarian, and demonic death cult—has become a voting issue not only in their state but across the country. Those voters recognize Sharia is utterly incompatible with the U.S. Constitution and the values of Judeo-Christian civilization. Its adherents are authorized if not actually commanded to follow the model of Islam's so-called perfect man, its prophet Muhammad, by engaging in demonic and illegal behavior. As Texans have learned more about what Sharia supremacists are insinuating in their state and intend to impose on them, they quite rightly reject it. Today's D-Day in Texas. There are numerous hotly contested races for key federal and state offices in the Republican primary election. Important as those contest outcomes are, the single most consequential item is probably the last one on the ballot, Proposition 10. That's because it's five words. Texas should prohibit Sharia law, prescribe a vitally needed course correction in that state with regard to Islam's totalitarian political ideology and legal system, and offer a model for the rest of the country.    In recent months, the need for such a prohibition has taken center stage in Texas thanks to a massive Sharia adherent development in East Plano. Last week, Donald Trump took the most courageous step of any president in our nation's history. After years of analysis, debate and efforts to negotiate a different outcome, he decided that the regime in Iran that had brought ruinous hardship to its own people and relentlessly threatened ours must be destroyed.  He bet his presidency by launching in concert with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu devastating and ongoing military operations to that end. The result was the immediate decapitation of the so-called Supreme Leader and most of his senior subordinates.  Iran has retaliated against Israel and U.S. bases and other targets in Sunni Arab nations. Thank God, the resulting casualties have been minimal to date. But unless and until the regime's dead-enders are decisively defeated or overwhelmed and removed by the Iranian people, there will doubtless be more losses.  Therefore, President Trump must resist the temptation to end the campaign to liberate the Iranian people before that goal is accomplished. Last night, I had the opportunity to speak virtually alongside a renowned freedom-fighter named Mike Arnold with Nigerian-Americans now living in Houston and best described as foreign-born American patriots. These men and women appreciate intensely how precious – and how perishable – are the liberties most of us who had the God-given privilege of being born in this country take for granted.  They also recognize the mortal threat to Texas and the rest of the United States posed by adherents to Islam's totalitarian prescription for jihadist conquest known as sharia. President Trump will visit Corpus Christie tomorrow. He will be talking about economic issues and promoting his preferred candidates in next week's Republican primary election.  There's another compelling reason for Mr. Trump to get out the vote: The last item on the GOP ballot is Proposition 10 which simply says “Texas should prohibit sharia law.” A Trump endorsement of Prop 10 could help it achieve a decisive victory and catalyze an urgently needed policy course-correction in that state – and potentially across the nation. Sharia Imperils the State of the Union   This is Frank Gaffney with the Secure Freedom Minute. Donald Trump's State of the Union address last night was a master class in information warfare. His myriad theatrical interventions were capped by intervals of soaring presidential rhetoric and powerful attacks on his political adversaries. The most effective of such attacks came with his call to the assembled legislators to stand and clap if they regarded their jobs as protecting the American people or illegal aliens. Republicans in the chamber responded with a protracted and raucus standing ovation as their Democratic counterparts silently sat it out. The not-so-loyal opposition's seething palpably exposed not only a telling misplaced priority unsupported by most Americans. It also signaled the high stakes in the upcoming midterms. If given the majority, Democrats will assuredly exact revenge on not just President Trump but the majority of us who put America First.  This is Frank Gaffney.

An internal threat that Donald Trump illuminated directly and forcefully in his first run for the presidency is increasingly imperiling our Union. He must tackle it again in tonight's address to the Nation. On August 15, 2016, he warned of the danger posed by the ideology of “Radical Islam.” This demonic death-cult's adherents call it “sharia” and they're aggressively insinuating it across this country, especially in Texas. In his speech in Youngstown, Mr. Trump promised to “strip out and remove one by one the support networks of Radical Islam.” That's a promise made, but as yet unkept. On Friday, the President will be in Texas in the endgame of its Republican primary election. Over the next five days, early voting in Texas' Republican primary will wrap up. Typically, most voters will cast their ballots early. Consequently, those who didn't do so last week, as well as those who will on election day March 3rd, must know that there's more at stake than a number of hotly contested races at the top of the ballot. At its very end is perhaps the single most important choice on any ballot anywhere in the country this election year. That's Proposition 10. The British man formerly known as Prince Andrew is being properly excoriated for his alleged sexual predation on underaged girls facilitated by Jeffrey Epstein. The punishment he faces on charges of misconduct in office could amount to a life sentence in prison. One wonders how the U.K.'s judicial system would respond if Andrew revealed that he had secretly converted to Islam. After all, its prophet Mohammed is considered to be “the perfect man,” whose conduct is to be emulated by every faithful Muslim.  Such conduct includes Mohammed's marriage to a six-year old girl named Aisha. While he didn't “consummate” the arrangement until she was nine, under Islam's operating code known as sharia, his model has legitimized child rape and other forms of pedophilia for fourteen hundred years – and it continues to do so today.   Western civilization must consistently reject such outrages. Perfidious Albion This is Frank Gaffney with the Secure Freedom Minute. For over two centuries, Britain's treacherous diplomacy earned it the nickname of “Perfidious Albion.” Yesterday, President Trump subtly channeled that sentiment in a polite, but very firm, repudiation of Britain's latest act of diplomatic subterfuge – namely, its gambit effectively to give away its right, and ours, to use a strategically critical Indian Ocean base called Diego Garcia.  Worse yet, Prime Minister Kier Starmer's odious deal with the China-dominated nation of Mauritius would predictably result in our mortal enemy – the Chinese Communist Party taking over that vital asset.  Mr. Trump rightly told Starmer “DO NOT GIVE AWAY DIEGO GARCIA.” Given the Brit leader's utter perfidiousness – and that of the State Department, which blessed the deal on Tuesday – the President better explicitly rule out any surrender of the rest of the Chagos archiplego, as well.  This is Frank Gaffney.

Jihadists worldwide have concluded that they will achieve Western civilization's destruction as sharia commands. Their success in gang-raping with impunity some one million British girls is proof-positive that they're right.  Pastor Jocko Booyens – an international leader in fighting such criminal sexual exploitation – warns that many American girls are being subjected to similarly rapacious behavior through so-called “beneficial relationships” cultivated by an institution dubbed “Sugar Baby University.” It should be known as “Rape U.” Texans started voting yesterday on Proposition 10 aimed at prohibiting sharia law. The fact that reducing crushing student debt is our causing our girls to be raped, impregnated and/or induced to convert to Islam and relocate to the Mideast – practices all condoned by sharia – is just one more reason why Prop 10 must pass. Prudent military officers plotting battlefield strategies are mindful of an immutable fact that can undo even the most brilliant of plans: “The enemy gets a vote.”  Starting today in the state of Texas, that is literally the case. With the beginning of early voting in its open GOP primary, Democrats, independents and, yes, jihadists can vote among other things on the ballot's Proposition 10 which simply says, “Texas should prohibit sharia law.”  If only Republican Texans voted, a call for banning Islam's toxic, totalitarian and demonic ideology masquerading as a religion now being insinuated into their state would pass overwhelmingly. If they do not turn out massively, however, our sharia-supremacist enemies may well do so, and significantly skew the vote.  So, it behooves every patriotic Texan voter to turn out and say “Yes” to Prop 10 and a sharia-free Texas. Against the backdrop of a meeting of national security luminaries – including Secretary of State Marco Rubio – last weekend in Munich, Germany, a most amazing event took place. According to police estimates, a quarter of a million people took to that city's streets in solidarity with the people of Iran, demanding an end to the horrific sharia-supremacist tyranny that has brutally repressed them and threatened us for nearly fifty years. Senator Lindsay Graham conveyed America's support for liberating the Iranian people. His comments came shortly after President Trump observed the end of the ayatollahs' regime would be “the best thing that could happen.”  Mr. Trump now has in place military forces that can destroy the  mullahs' remaining security apparatus. It's time for the promised “help is on the way” to be translated into help delivered and a true “Liberation Day” achieved.   This is Frank Gaffney.

Under Secretary of State for Arms Control Thomas DiNanno recently revealed that the Chinese Communist Party has covertly explosively tested nuclear weapons creating yields of “hundreds of tons” of dynamite. By so doing, the CCP has validated that the state-of-the-art arms they are putting on an astonishing array of new missiles and bomber aircraft actually work.  That amounts to Chinese cheating on an international ban on such testing. It also demands that that the United States – which hasn't conducted such a test since 1992 and, unlike China, has no treaty obligation to refrain from doing so, must validate that the obsolescing weapons in its arsenal are actually still safe, reliable and effective, too.   President Trump says he wants to test our nuclear weapons as others have done. President Trump says “Iran wants a deal.” It would be more accurate to say Iran wants to negotiate about “a deal.” The difference is, as Mark Twain put it, between “lightning and a lightning bug.” Iran's sharia-supremacist regime has used decades of such negotiations ostensibly aimed at denuclearizing Iran, to buy time to continue: its nuclear weapons program; its build-up of various missiles with which to deliver them across the Middle East and even here; and its enabling of jihadist terrorism worldwide. Mr. Trump insists he'll address all those threats. But the ayatollahs have a culture of haggling in the bazaar and hope to run the clock out on his military options. Memo to the President: “Give peace a chance” the only way it can possibly eventuate – namely, by doing deals with the liberated people of Iran after this regime is gone.  This is Frank Gaffney.

President Trump's meeting this week with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu could finally precipitate the end of the still-metastasizing sharia-supremacist regime in Iran. Alternatively, it could result in failure by allowing the Iranian mullahocracy literally to get away with murder and continue its preparations to unleash truly apocalyptic destruction.  That is not hyperbole. Rather, it is the mission statement of the official religion of Iran, which holds that only such devastation will bring back its messiah.  Mr. Trump is being told that giving the ayatollahs more time to make a deal could actually eliminate the threat they pose. It ain't gonna happen. On Friday, New York City's communist Muslim mayor Zoran Mamdani unveiled a sweeping throwdown with the Trump administration's policies aimed at removing illegal aliens from this country. Particularly noteworthy was Mamdani's declaration that his model for dealing with immigrants would align with the welcome and good home the people of Medina gave to Islam's first migrant, Muhammad. As freedom fighter Kevin Freeman has pointed out, however, Muhammad repaid Medina's Jewish tribes who gave him such refuge by ultimately destroying them, murdering the men, and turning their women and children into sex slaves and chattel. The effects of Mamdani's aggressively anti-ice, open door, and sanctuary city policies emulating those exploited by Islam's perfect man, Muhammad will not only put at risk his own population, inevitably those to whom he is recklessly giving refuge will emulate the example of Mamdani's prophet and destructively migrate elsewhere in America too.   This is Frank Gaffney.

There is something surreal about the Enemy Within's determined “Defund the Police” 2.0. Those Communists, jihadists and their fellow travelers doing business as the Democratic Party – with a few irresponsible Republicans – are demanding that we effectively disarm ICE at a moment when we need it more than ever to find and remove, or otherwise neutralize, “the worst of the worst” of the illegal immigrants in America.  By any definition, such illegals would include tens of thousands Chinese soldiers now inside this country. Especially when it appears they can tap perhaps 20 biological warfare laboratories here, too. CIA veteran Sam Faddis warns that, based on the two labs discovered so far, their contents could kill between sixty-ninety percent of those infected.  Consequently, the treacherous anti-ICE enemies within are also among the worst of the worst. What if Chinese Communist emperor Xi Jinping is lying to Donald Trump, like he did to his top generals?  The President has repeatedly reported Xi told him Taiwan would not be invaded during the second Trump administration. While that's obviously desirable, the implication that Communist China will invade after Trump leaves office is ominous. It also seems increasingly unlikely.  The People's Liberation Army is now regularly rehearsing decapitation attacks, blockades and other invasion scenarios against Taiwan's main island. Xi is fracturing America's alliances. And he has his country on a war-footing. Xi is also a practiced liar. Just ask the top generals he has systematically purged, obviously having told the most recent victims they would not share the earlier ones' fate. Their replacements will likely be all-in for invasion, and the truth is, it could – and probably will – come at any time.  This is Frank Gaffney.

Donald Trump and Democrats appear to agree that the Immigrations and Customs Enforcement effort to find and remove illegal immigrants requires a reboot.  Unfortunately, the changes the President's partisan opponents want would effectively preclude many ICE operations. He is resisting some, but has agreed that Democratic governors and mayors can preclude them in their jurisdictions.  A new bestseller by Peter Schweizer makes clear that what's needed to secure this country is very different. The Invisible Coup lays bare the subversion that is now afoot at the hands of foreign enemies and their domestic allies.  Consequently, ICE – and, as needed, other elements of the U.S. government – should urgently be tasked with identifying and neutralizing the large numbers of Chinese soldiers, jihadists and others here and determined to destroy or “reconquer” this country.  Americans enabling such subversion must be held accountable, too.  This is Frank Gaffney.

President Trump recently announced that a new company would control TikTok's powerful algorithm in the United States. Its owners include Larry Ellison's Oracle, a U.A.E. AI company, and – wait for it – the platform's Chinese Communist Party-controlled founder, Bytedance. TikTok's Chinese CEO will serve on its Board of Directors. How exactly this will work with respect to the CCP's toxic weaponization of TikTok remains to be seen. The continuing involvement of Chinese nationals and the parent company is concerning. So is the fact that TikTok's surveillance, propaganda and influence operations will persist outside the U.S. on platforms supposed to be seamlessly accessible to American users. President Trump credits Chinese dictator Xi Jinping with approving this deal. Probably that's because Xi's sure the CCP will still be able to addict, disinform, manipulate and mobilize young Americans – and profit handsomely in the process.  This is Frank Gaffney.

Europeans have been sharply critical of President Trump for his insistence that U.S. security requires actual ownership of Greenland. Formerly Great Britain is, however, giving everyone an object lesson on why that's so. The UK's hard-left Prime Minister Keir Starmer is currently in Beijing negotiating a new “strategic partnership” with Communist China. Simultaneously, he's seeking parliamentary approval to surrender British sovereignty over – and, inevitably, U.S. use of – Diego Garcia, a strategically vital base in the Indian Ocean.  The Chinese would be the principal beneficiary of such a betrayal, and probably ultimately the inheritors of that base, as they were Afghanistan's Bagram. The President has rightly called Starmer's sellout on Diego Garcia an act of “great stupidity.” He must now inform the Brits that the United States formally rejects the deal and will take ownership of the island if they relinquish it.  This is Frank Gaffney.

It's appalling that Sir Keir Starmer, the leader of a nation with the history of the once-Great Britain, is currently not simply groveling before China's Communist Emperor Xi Jinping. He's actively appeasing freedom's mortal enemy.  Last week, the U.K. approved a vast new Chinese embassy in London. Now, Starmer wants Parliament to bless a disastrous deal likely to result in the Chinese taking over a strategic U.S. military installation called Diego Garcia.  Dozens of influential British and American patriots are issuing today a powerful public statement opposing this unforced error of epic proportions.  Coming in the wake of Canada's odious “separate peace” with the Chinese Communist Party last week, London's pursuit of a new “special relationship” with Beijing can only further embolden Xi Jinping – and invite his aggression at the expense of Taiwan and what else is left of the Free World.  This is Frank Gaffney.

Is the special relationship done? The question of whether the longstanding and unique bond between the United States and Britain is now toast arises as the U.K.'s hard left government prepares to unilaterally disarm not only itself, but America, as well. That would be the practical effect of one of history's worst international agreements. Pursuant to a “deal” awaiting parliamentary approval in London, the British government would pay billions of dollars to the Chinese Communist-tied African nation of Mauritius to imperil the U.S. military's essential use of the Indian Ocean island base called Diego Garcia over 1200 miles away.  Worse yet, if the Brits miss even a single payment, Mauritius can terminate their lease.  President Trump has correctly described this deal as an act of “GREAT STUPIDITY.” Parliament must repudiate it, or bid farewell to the special relationship. The United States has a new National Defense Strategy. Unfortunately, that of the Chinese Communist Party is unchanged. According to the document released by the Department of War on January 23rd, China is no longer this country's “most significant strategic competitor.” Even that formulation used by the Biden administration in its 2022 counterpart NDS downplayed the reality that the CCP is our mortal enemy. The Trump administration has decided to prioritize the security of the Western hemisphere, saying unspecified “strength” will deter China and promote “visionary and realistic diplomacy, thereby setting conditions for a balance of power in the Indo-Pacific that allows all [the region's nations] to enjoy a decent peace.”  Unfortunately, the Chinese Communists are not interested in a decent peace. They seek our destruction, including by continuing their penetration and domination of our hemisphere. America needs a war-footing now. This is Frank Gaffney.

It's “Liberation Day” 2.0. President Trump's decision to withdraw the United States from the World Health Organization becomes final today, ending the direct threat to American sovereignty posed by the WHO's insidious efforts to advance world government.  Mr. Trump recognized the danger posed by the largely opaque use of international agreements and diplomatic shenanigans behind closed doors to give unprecedented powers over our public health to the WHO Director General, an Ethiopian Communist controlled by the Chinese Communist Party. We want no part of a reprise of Tedros Ghebreyesus' murderous malfeasance during the COVID-19 pandemic.  The U.S. can and should continue to lead the world in countering pandemics. While much of the world's elites focus on a fractious debate in Davos over the future status of Greenland and the prospects for the NATO alliance, tectonic shifts are taking place in the Middle East that require urgent attention.  During weeks of massive protests across Iran, President Trump warned that nation's jihadist regime not to use violence to suppress them, encouraged the unrest to continue and declared it was time for the supreme leader to go. Martin Luther King, Jr. had a dream of freedom. The world's sharia-supremacists have one, too. Theirs  is about submission – specifically, the non-Muslim world's enslavement pursuant to the toxic, demonic and anti-constitutional Islamic ideology known as sharia. The United States is a prime target for sharia-adherents' penetration, subversion and conquest since that would inevitably ensure the end of Judeo-Christian civilization – and with it, any hope of fully realizing and perpetuating Dr. King's visionary aspiration.  Texas is the frontline of this battle between good and evil. On March 3rd, many Texans will vote on Republican primary ballot Proposition 10. It simply says, “Texas should prohibit sharia law.” The stakes could hardly be higher. The Chinese Communist Party makes no secret of its determination to destroy the United States of America. So how can we allow the CCP to own land across the country often within striking distance, literally, of sensitive U.S. military and other installations? For example, a longtime official of the CCP's subversive United Front Work Department owns two golf courses enveloping a critically important U.S. military installation: Louisiana's Barksdale Air Force Base. That's the home of Global Strike Command responsible for two of the three “legs” of our nuclear “Triad.” What could possibly go wrong? It's malfeasant to let our mortal enemy have the option of waging immensely destructive warfare against us from inside the United States. China's assets like the Barksdale-adjacent golf courses should be seized immediately and Chinese nationals – especially any PLA soldiers in America – should be repatriated forthwith. The fate of Iran's despotic regime appears to be hanging in the balance. The country's population – after almost five decades of repression, privation and sharia-indoctrination – are in the streets, risking life and limb to demand the mullahs' overthrow. Thousands have been shot dead where they were demonstrating; others who were wounded, were subsequently executed. To his credit, President Trump has repeatedly expressed solidarity with those seeking freedom, encouraging them to keep protesting and promising help to those subjected to murderous attacks by Iranian and imported jihadists. On Wednesday, however, the President declared that such attacks had reportedly been suspended. While he expressed some uncertainty about the accuracy of such claims, the implication was that the promise of U.S. military action on behalf of the protesters would be suspended, as well. America must help the Iranian people prevail – not abandon them, yet again. This is Frank Gaffney.

Yesterday, the U.S. government formally designated three foreign “chapters” of the Muslim Brotherhood as terrorist organizations. Secretary of State Marco Rubio described them “the opening actions of an ongoing, sustained effort to thwart Muslim Brotherhood chapters' violence and destabilization wherever it occurs."  For the moment, though, other chapters and the Brotherhood's “mother movement,” remain free to pursue their stated goal of waging a “grand jihad to destroy Western civilization from within.”  Unfortunately, every jihadist on the planet, and every one of their – and their allies' – still-undesignated “support networks,” will perceive that status as proof they will succeed.  And, according to Islam's toxic sharia doctrine, when jihadists sense weakness in their enemies, they must redouble efforts to make them “feel subdued.” That's a formula for much more, and terrifying, violence in America. Millions of Iranians are publicly demanding the end of the sharia-supremacist regime that has brutalized them and threatened us for nearly fifty years. The mullahs are increasingly responding with murderous violence. President Trump has lately broken with past U.S. practice by explicitly supporting those in the streets. He's threatened to use force to that end. He's announced that new tariffs will be imposed on Iran's trading partners. And American military assets are on the move in the region, creating new options for action against the ayatollahs. Iran's government is trying a gambit that has worked in the past – buying time through negotiations over its covert nuclear weapons program. At the moment, preparations for a bilateral meeting are reportedly underway. There should be no more reprieves for the tyrants.
