Renowned figures like Donald Trump and Grant Cardone are mentioned as examples, not to be copied, but to illustrate that success comes from being unique and true to oneself. Effective Networking Strategies: John also discusses techniques for successful networking, such as engaging in meaningful conversations, identifying common interests (using the FORM acronym: Family, Occupation, Recreation, Message), and focusing on lead generation rather than immediate sales at networking events. Importance of Mindset in Sales: The meeting touches on the significance of having the right mindset in sales. It suggests a mental shift from comparing oneself to others to focusing on personal growth and development. Building Relationships and Adding Value: John advises to approach networking with the intention of building relationships and adding value, rather than just pursuing immediate business opportunities. The text stresses the importance of asking open-ended questions and genuinely getting to know people. Leveraging Networking Groups and Referrals: He also encourages participation in or creation of networking groups to enhance business opportunities. The approach should be about how one can help others and contribute to the group, leading to a more resourceful and beneficial network for all involved.

What could possibly be more exciting than growing industrial hemp? How about an auction to sell 1 million pounds of hemp biomass! Mark Case, CEO of the International Hemp Auction and Market, plugs the first ever international “Hemp Auction.” Billed as ‘The Hemp Event of the Year’ the event is being held in Franklin, TN from Nov. 19-21st. HempLogic founder Cory Sharp and Exec VP of Sales John “the Tooch” Tucci, discuss with Case how his auction can act as a life raft for hemp farmers with no buyer for their product. Modeled after the traditional “tobacco auction,” Case got the idea to hold the auction in response to the unprecedented amount of hemp farmers with no buyers for their biomass. The auction will list biomass, smokable flower, CBD, isolate, crude, CBG and even mother plants and clones. With a goal of selling one million pounds of biomass and 175,000 sq. foot coliseum ot hold it in, Case believes the auction will give hemp farmers the opportunity ‘sell their product to the highest bidder” and remove expensive middle-man brokerage fees. The auction, which will be open only to industry buyers and sellers, will be held in conjunction with a retail holiday marketplace event featuring CBD products and open to consumers. All buyers and sellers for the hemp auction will be vetted, pre-registration opens on Sept. 16th At HempLogic we Believe in the Hemp Farmer. What's Your Hemp Dream? HempLogic - America's Largest Vertically Integrated Hemp Company. Offering consulting, seeds, biomass buying, harvest services and more. Hemp farmers serving the hemp industry.
Avoiding Going to Jail While Transporting Industrial Hemp, plus Smokable Hemp Flower Market Surging! HempLogic founder Cory Sharp meets with fellow Marine veterans Andrew Ross and David Dirkson of Patriot Shield to discuss the logistical - and legal - details of hemp transportation and security. Ross and Dirkson detail the planning, communications and challenges of transporting hemp across the United States, especially when dealing with law enforcement that see marijuana, not a legal load of industrial hemp. Dirksen and Ross were arrested back in January and faced potential ‘life in prison’ charges for a legal load of hemp seized by Oklahoma offices as marijuana. It took seven months of legal maneuvering for the DA to drop the case. Since then, Ross and Dirkson have been on a campaign to educate law enforcement about hemp transportation issues and are now working on new tracking logistics to follow hemp products all the way from legal hemp farms, to final destinations. Patriot Shield also ships hemp seeds, seedlings and most recenlty, smokable CBD hemp flowers. HempLogic Exec. VP of Sales John ‘the Tooch’ Tucci, chimes in to discuss the suddenly spiking smokable CBD hemp market and we hear about Patriot Shield’s new work consulting on harvest issues, setting up a new drying and processing warehouse and facilitating smokable CBD hemp flower sales on the East Coast. At HempLogic we Believe in the Hemp Farmer. What's Your Hemp Dream? HempLogic - America's Largest Vertically Integrated Hemp Company. Offering consulting, seeds, biomass buying, harvest services and more. Hemp farmers serving the hemp industry.
Weeding out Bad Actors and Creating Realistic Expectations for Industrial Hemp Hear from Zev Paiss, founder of the Hemp Marketplace, the world’s largest on-line community connecting industrial hemp buyers and sellers, on building —from the ground up — the emerging hemp industry. The Hemp Marketplace was formed to connect buyers and sellers and includes listing for everything from hemp biomass and CBD isolate, to hemp farming equipment and harvesting machinery. Paiss, HempLogic founder Cory Sharp and Exec. VP of Sales John the “Tooch” Tucci, continue the revolving conversation on how to spot ‘unicorns’ in the hemp industry and the response to the 2019 hemp harvest crisis. HempLogic rolled out the “HempLogic Harvest Rescue Plan” in early September. A response to the current crisis amongst hemp farmers unprepared for getting their harvest out of the field and many with no biomass buyer in place. Sharp, Tucci and Paiss exchange stories and discuss strategies for helping with harvest, avoiding pitfalls and working toward a more stable hemp industry for 2020. Paiss details how the Hemp Marketplace works, his commitment toward creating a stable, marketplace for the hemp industry. Including the development of an end-user market for hemp-derived products. At HempLogic we Believe in the Hemp Farmer. What's Your Hemp Dream? HempLogic - America's Largest Vertically Integrated Hemp Company. Offering consulting, seeds, biomass buying, harvest services and more. Hemp farmers serving the hemp industry.

KPI Golf's Casey Bourque and John Brown discuss the golf marketplace and how underperforming golf clubs can compete. The truth is that golf participation is down and common sentiment is that there are still more golf courses that need to come off the market to bring supply & demand equilibrium. Specific Strategies for Underperforming Golf Clubs John makes several fascinating suggestions for quick wins and operational improvements that will help underperforming golf clubs win. Profitable Food and Beverage - John feels strongly that a "break even" food and beverage operation is not good enough. Smart operators need to hire very carefully, deploy strong inventory tracking measures, and tap into the captive audience to drive positive cash flow out of this department. Strict Procurement and Buying Requirements - It's easy to just continue doing business with vendors who "treat you well" or with whom you've always done business. The problem is that they're likely not the most competitive option for your club. Although it's often hard, and usually met with resistance from staff, bidding out all major purchases and acquiring multiple offers on all major purchases brings huge upside on the expense side of the ledger. Referral-Based Marketing and Sales - John alludes to a KPI Golf's proprietary 85/50 Marketing Plan. It involves deploying every existing club member to consistently become the best sales tool possible for your club. He outlines how this program has literally saved the life of several clubs John has turned around in the past. Free Golf Lessons - KPI Golf believes strongly that golf lessons are the ultimate gateway drug for newcomers to the game, as well as a critical tool for retaining senior golfers longer. We believe that free golf lesson programs deployed for the purpose of marketing the club and bringing in new players is absolutely where clubs need to focus their attention.
Tune in for this high powered episode that is set to motivate you to maximize your sales influence with expert sales trainer, blogger and overall sales wizard, John Barrows. Learn how to do sales right by optimizing your Sales team's performance through proper training and alignment with marketing. We discuss the science behind sales, the importance of building context for leads and how sales reps can stay relevant during the rise of artificial intelligence. Takeaways: Technology is coming for sales whether they like it or not. Sales teams must be ready to adapt. Take the information that technology can give you and put some context around it to make it successful. Marketing is content. Sales is context. Sales doesn't need to be the content creator, rather it needs to be the content curator. Marketing language is different than sales. Don't send Marketing emails from Sales reps. Don't throw tier threes away. Use them to practice. Sales reps, stop pitching solutions and start having conversations with your clients about their solutions. Don't rely on your demos to sell. Spend 10-15 min discussing what your client really wants and what is relevant to them. Then customize the demo for them. Great sales reps are the ones making connections, putting context around content and driving the economy forward.
