Sinai, where they received the Torah and committed the sin of the Golden Calf. Our Parsha begins with G-d commanding Moshe to count every Jewish man from the ages of 20 to 60. We find out the unique method Moshe Rabbeinu was commanded to use to count the Jewish people. We learn the status of the Jewish people as they received the Torah. Have a joyous Shavous!

The Airley's made aliyah from the United States in 2006. Binyamin attended yeshiva, spent time in Eilat, and worked on the family's farm, including most Shabbats.   Binyomin Airley joined the front lines of the battle VS Hamas to secure the land of Israel and protect the Jewish people. He unfortunately was killed in battle.   At his shloshim, a moving kumzitz led by Shlomo Katz began with people singing softly in their seats and evolved into heartfelt t'filah with people standing and swaying, arm in arm, many with tears in their eyes. Jennifer interrupted the singing in the middle of a song and commented that she noticed too many sad faces in the room. She explained that this was not meant to be an evening of crying. It was meant to be an evening to honor Binyamin and open our hearts using songs for t'filah. She begged that people open the gates of Shamayim with t'filah b'simchah, even with the pain. Jennifer teaches by example how to keep going. She is leading the way and bringing her community along with her.    The Airley's Emunah and Bitachon has been on full display since Binyomin was suddenly killed in battle.    ►Ceremian (Alpert and Associates) Call Moshe Alpert!  Email: Moshe.alpert@nm.com for a free consultation, or head to https://bit.ly/moshealpert Or call 718-644-1594  _________________________________________ ►Collars and Co For the best-looking and most comfortable dress shirts in the world.. www.Collarsandco.com  Use promo code: Winter15 for 15% off all order $100+ _______________________________________________________  ►Town Appliance Visit https://www.townappliance.com Message Town Appliance on WhatsApp: https://bit.ly/Townappliance_whatsapp  ________________________________________________ ►Mosaica Press Book of The Week Ready to unlock the secrets of family, faith, and freedom?

What is the true measure of our freedom? This episode promises to transform your understanding of liberty, challenging you to consider how your actions can imbue it meaningfully. Join us as we draw from the wisdom of the Ramban, unraveling a perspective that suggests our choices in life are what truly define the freedoms we hold dear. We navigate the powerful narrative of the Jewish journey from the bonds of slavery to the divine connection through the building of the Tabernacle, exploring how each step towards freedom was intricately linked to purpose and directed action.Uncover the profound connection between our liberties and how we spend our time and energy. We'll inspire you to reflect on whether the pursuits you're dedicating your life to are merely passing distractions or aligned with a greater purpose that transcends the mundane. This discussion isn't just academic; it's a call to action to reassess your goals and how you can channel your freedom into acts of kindness, learning, and meaningful growth. The legacy of the Exodus isn't just about liberation from physical bondage—it's about the spiritual emancipation that comes from living a life with intention.Support the showJoin the WhatsApp community for daily motivational Torah content! Length: 1 hour 35 minutesSynopsis: This evening (3/23/23), in lieu of our Thursday Night Pirkei Avos shiur, we did a Chumash Exploration shiur on Sforno's view that the Egyptian exile was NOT decreed by Hashem, but was entirely our fault, and could have been avoided. We read and discussed Sforno's commentary on the first fourteen pesukim of Sefer Shemos and the three pesukim of the Bris Bein ha'Besarim, along with the newly published notes taken by a student of the Sforno on his rebbi's Chumash shiurim. Although the format of this shiur was different, we succeded in getting a new and comprehensive picture of exactly how the Egyptian slavery went down.-----Link to the AlHaTorah article on "Purpose of the Egyptian Bondage" מקורות:ספורנו ושיעורי ר' עובדיה ספורנו - שמות א:א-ידמדרש רבה שמות א:חרמב"ם - משנה תורה: ספר המדע, הלכות עבודה זרה וחוקות הגוים א:גיחזקאל כ:ה-ירמב"ם - משנה תורה: ספר זמנים, הלכות תעניות א:ב-גספורנו ושיעורי ר' עובדיה ספורנו - בראשית טו:יג-טזספורנו ושיעורי ר' עובדיה ספורנו - תהלים קה:כג-כהרד"ק - תהלים קיז:ארמב"ם - אבות ה:ד -----The Torah content for Rosh Chodesh Nisan has been sponsored by my friend and fellow Ralbag-enthusiast, Rabbi Dovid Campbell. Sinai, where they received the Torah and committed the sin of the Golden Calf. After obtaining forgiveness from G-d through Moshe's prayer, they built a Mishkan.  They inaugurated it on the first of Nissan, almost one year since their exodus from Egypt. Now the Jewish people are ready to travel through the desert to the promised land.  Our Parsha begins with Hashem commanding Moshe to count every Jewish man from 20 to 60. We find why the Jewish people were counted once again?  We learn what changed after the giving of the Torah!
