Chris Akin goes deep with Corey Pierce, drummer of Disciples Of Verity and God Forbid, in this explosive interview! Today is day 341 and we are studying The Ninth Commandment. 341. Why does God forbid such false witness? Today is day 324 and we are studying The Seventh Commandment. 324. Why does God forbid adultery? Adultery is a sin against one's spouse or spouse-to-be; against the sexual partners with whom it is committed; against their children, family, and friends; against human society by undermining the institution of marriage; and against God, in whose Name marriage vows are made. (2 Samuel 11:2–12:14; Proverbs 5; Malachi 2:13–16) We will conclude today by praying Proper 6 found on page 616 of the Book of Common Prayer (2019). Join Geoffrey Stern and Rabbi Adam Mintz as we explore the intriguing theological debate where Abraham challenges God over the fate of Sodom and Gomorrah. Unlike typical moral or ethical arguments, Abraham's stance is deeply rooted in his understanding of God's nature. He questions whether it would be Godlike to act in a manner that contradicts his perception of the divine. Profaning God's name is a major them in the Torah but in this first instance, it is God Himself who is accused of the crime. Come and learn! But, NLP methods have been criticized for being dangerous in the wrong hands and inspiring some of the most toxic and criminal self-help movements of the last two decades. Throw in Richard's dark past as a cocaine addict and murder suspect, and you can't help but wonder what his true intentions were. This is just a preview of Scamfluencers. Doc Coyle is back on the podcast! He's one of our favorite personalities in the game and he's here to celebrate his first solo song release “Livin' On The Edge.” The song came out last week, along with its Falling Down inspired music video. We breakdown his take on a classic film and approach and the joy of creating a music video that references such a great movie. The conversation also heads into our love for film and filmmakers discussing Joel Schumacher, sequels having to always go camp with intense topics in masculinity, how masculinity has changed through the years and how classics films will be seen, and his preference of Tony Scott over Ridley Scott as a filmmaker. We also discuss metal fans being negative towards him being in Bad Wolves because of the elitist mentality in our scene, why he feels jealousy doesn't play a part in negativity towards legendary bands success, and his upcoming co-headlining tour with Pop Evil in North America. Petar and Brandon breakdown the week of countdowns that lead us to Linkin Park's delayed announcement and who the fans would embrace as the new singer of Linkin Park, Michael Sweet's comment about not knowing any Metallica songs, and the Cancer Christ frontman deciding to spend a decade or more behind bars for some craziness. Garth Heckman The David Alliance TDAgiantslayer@gmail.com BAM - watch them every Tuesday night on our Facebook page. 3 THINGS TO KNOW HIS VISION Do you want to know Gods vision for your life? time away… God doesn't scream his vision to you… You need to be NEAR God - WHY? Do you want to have to scream at your kids to get them to obey you? When your kids are near you, you whisper. There is a sense of intimacy…. This is just for you. **Intimacy with Jesus is your greatest protection against the enemy AND THE GREATEST WAY TO PROTECT OUR VISION FROM GOD! Between the ages of 8-11 we left our boys at home for about 2 hours… why? Because they were intimate with our 180lb Rotty! #2 Heres a secret: The nearer the clearer The nearer the clearer the vision. The clearer the vision the more driven the vision. A general vision has no pull! You need to be in Gear with God - **YOU MUST know his word to know his voice** God speak to us through angels, dreams and visions, his circumstances, His audible voice, his inaudible voice, friends, prophets, pastors, nature and even sinners… *But he typically and regularly speaks to us through his word. Through Scripture! READ HIS WORD! - GOD HAS SPOKEN TO ME 100 TIMES MORE THROUGH HIS WORD THAN TO MY MIND IN PRAYER! THIS PAST WEEK… a conversation - well we can sleep together because God sees us married and I know his grace is sufficient. **Sounds great right??? I countered back Romans 6:1,2 Shall we continue to sin that Gods grace may abound… GOD FORBID! * THIS IS NOT GODS VISION… BUT IF YOU KNOW HIS WORD YOU KNOW THAT! #3 You need to HEAR God - WHAT DO I MEAN? Lower the noise Sin is noise, a distraction, Eph. 4:30 And do not bring sorrow OR GRIEVE God's Holy Spirit by the way you live. Remember, he has identified you as his own, guaranteeing that you will be saved on the day of redemption. GK = Grieve - a moral or ethical consideration or standard that acts as a restraining force or inhibits certain actions. Husbands have you ever grieved your wife? SHE PULLS AWAY… PARENTS HAVE YOU EVER GRIEVED YOUR KIDS?

The Olympic Games are about to kick off and athletes from all over the world will make their way to France to compete. The event is watched by billions, there's a massive increase to local tourism and of course an eye watering amount of advertising dollars at stake so it's wild to think that at one stage - the Olympics was almost cancelled for good. Guest: Jack Schmidt for God Forbid
Pool boys and Evangelicals and cougars, oh my! Christopher and Eric kick off Sex Scandal Summer by serving up the spicy Hulu documentary GOD FORBID: THE SEX SCANDAL THAT BROUGHT DOWN A DYNASTY. When twenty-year old Miami pool boy Giancarlo Granda is invited to take part in a night of taboo busting sex with a wealthy older woman he met at the Fontainebleu Hotel and her (at least) voyeuristic husband, little does he know he'll eventually find himself at the center of a scandal that helped remake American presidential politics. It's a seemingly no holds-barred expose of con artists and blackmailers, and the culture war politics that attacks minorities while enriching sanctimonious hypocrites. But Christopher and Eric still have questions about what's not being said in this otherwise steamy tell (almost) all.
*Released on WTTR App 7/12/24 For Mid-Acts teachings and songs of grace, download our FREE App here: https://www.TruthTimeRadio.com/wttr Let us help you Rightly Divide the word of truth according to the dispensation of the grace of God, and watch the confusion disappear and the scriptures come alive! In our previous episode, we talked about what it means for "every man" to be a liar, and how the one who uses that scripture against others (which is out of context) must include themselves in the "every man." We also examined what it means for God to be justified, and how God is shown to be righteous. Today, we will look at the usage of the phrase "God forbid" in Paul's epistles. Some seem to be under the impression that, just because we are under grace, we are not given commands to live by, or instructions concerning the things we say about God. "God forbid" means exactly what it says. God still forbids some things, even during the dispensation of Grace. And if we pay close attention, we will see how serious these "God forbids" are. Paul is trying his best to keep us from blaspheming - just because a sin is paid for and forgiven, doesn't mean that it's "ok" to do it. We will go further into explaining how the unrighteousness of man actually proves the righteousness of God. And Paul will make his point, in a nutshell, concerning what he has been talking about since the very beginning of this letter. ●Is "God forbid" just a suggestion about "how to think" on certain things? ●What does Paul say that he has been forbidden to glory in? ●How does the unrighteousness of man commend the righteousness of God? ●Is Paul admitting to telling a lie in this passage, or is he referencing slanderous reports? ●What is Paul's point in chapter 3, verse 9? IN THIS SERIES: ●We will see who Paul was talking to and why. ●Why Paul's mention of the "day of wrath" in Romans 2 makes perfect sense in the context. ●We examine who is being spoken about regarding the "remission of sins." ●Look at some things that Paul struggled with in the flesh concerning the law and why he's even talking about the law in the first place. ●Identify where the false doctrine of Sonship Edification puts its roots in Romans 8. ●Look at some verses that Universalists use to support their false "salvation of all" claim. ●Find out what the "faith of Christ" is and what it isn't. ●We will see whether or not Gentiles are "grafted into" that Olive Tree in Chapter 11. ●Go over what we are to be "fully persuaded in our own minds" about when we go through our instructions for living life after salvation. ●Learn more about how and why Gentiles were never under the law. ●Look at how prayer works and how it doesn't work today. ●Look at today's practical application compared to how Paul addresses the Jews in the flesh in this letter. ●Go over the fact that no one outside of Paul's "dispensation of grace" enjoyed eternal security, nor were they saved by grace through faith ALONE, without works. ●Find out the who, how, and why of "marking" others. ●And we'll tie it all up with the Revelation of the Mystery which was kept secret since the world began.

1 Corinthians 6:19-20 - Speaker: Isaiah Maynard - Today's question brings up quite a few issues related to it, such as love, romance, morality and immorality, even brokenness related to sexual desires. As we talk about these things, I really want us to see that there is one thing that can hold them all together and that is the glory of God. Viewing these issues as a means to see the glory of God helps us make sense of a biblical Sexual Ethic. A question like this could be answered with a list of do's and don'ts but it would miss the heart behind it. The heart behind it ultimately belongs to God, and it is my hope that we instead come away from this brief time with a deeper longing for what God offers us in Christ. So the objective for today is for us to see and understand how God is glorified through our sexual morality.

We are being told that there is a plan for Christian Nationalism in the country. I have a dear family member who is terrified of this happening. Let's just dispense with that idea right now. There can't be Christian Nationalism if Christian Nationalism means forcing people to be Christian. It wouldn't be Christian anymore, it would be satanic. Jesus never forces anyone to believe in Him. So what would a godly government look like? One of the ways we can do this is by looking at what a godly government wouldn't be, highlighting current examples in our world. We go through the Bible as we examine this and look at what the character and conduct of the leaders in a godly government would be like. What does God's Word say? 1 Timothy 3:1-7 Qualifications for Overseers and Deacons3 Here is a trustworthy saying: Whoever aspires to be an overseer desires a noble task. 2 Now the overseer is to be above reproach, faithful to his wife, temperate, self-controlled, respectable, hospitable, able to teach, 3 not given to drunkenness, not violent but gentle, not quarrelsome, not a lover of money. 4 He must manage his own family well and see that his children obey him, and he must do so in a manner worthy of full[a] respect. 5 (If anyone does not know how to manage his own family, how can he take care of God's church?) 6 He must not be a recent convert, or he may become conceited and fall under the same judgment as the devil. 7 He must also have a good reputation with outsiders, so that he will not fall into disgrace and into the devil's trap.Titus 1:5-9 Appointing Elders Who Love What Is Good5 The reason I left you in Crete was that you might put in order what was left unfinished and appoint[a] elders in every town, as I directed you. 6 An elder must be blameless, faithful to his wife, a man whose children believe[b] and are not open to the charge of being wild and disobedient. 7 Since an overseer manages God's household, he must be blameless—not overbearing, not quick-tempered, not given to drunkenness, not violent, not pursuing dishonest gain. 8 Rather, he must be hospitable, one who loves what is good, who is self-controlled, upright, holy and disciplined. 9 He must hold firmly to the trustworthy message as it has been taught, so that he can encourage others by sound doctrine and refute those who oppose it.1 Peter 5:1-4 To the Elders and the Flock5 To the elders among you, I appeal as a fellow elder and a witness of Christ's sufferings who also will share in the glory to be revealed: 2 Be shepherds of God's flock that is under your care, watching over them—not because you must, but because you are willing, as God wants you to be; not pursuing dishonest gain, but eager to serve; 3 not lording it over those entrusted to you, but being examples to the flock. 4 And when the Chief Shepherd appears, you will receive the crown of glory that will never fade away.Episode 1,510 Links:Today 4 years ago I was arrested at my house, for the 1st Amendment of the constitution.
