A Note from JayHey all,So I now have four episode's worth of full show notes to create and add to the website. It's a good thing that I have a bot which detects all of the games mentioned, huh? This is the second in a four -part discussion on Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater. In order to tackle this game, Squidge drafted both Alyxa the Kitsune and Nomad. By the way, the original recordings for this four-part series have a combined runtime of over six hours.Just like most recent episodes, let us know if you're reading this show notes: send out a messenger pigeon, lean out the window and yell, or (better yet) join the Discord and let us know.I'll be dipping out to Seattle for a super-secret project throughout March, so Im hoping that my internet connection will be sorted out by the time I get back.— JaySquidge, Alyxa, and Nomad (of the amazing Retro Wildlands) got together to discuss Metal Gear Solid 3. In this episode they talk about the dangers of holding up people for informat, the Metal Gear universe version of the movie Grease, and the tactical hooting.Content WarningThis episode contains references to spoilers, swearing, eating things to survive, and torture. But it also contains some seriously bonkers tangents and silliness. You have been politely informed. There are also topics which might not be suitable for the ears of the innocent. But nothing in this episode, or this podcast as a whole, is to be taken seriously. Please listen responsibly.Show NotesSee aboveLinks of InterestJoin our Discord server and be part of future episodesOur Facebook pageUs on TwitterSupport us on Ko-FiAlyxa on the web:Alyxa on TwitchAlyxa on TwitterAlyxa's VoDs on YouTubeLuso DubsRetro Wildlands podcastNomad's episode of The Retro Wildlands on MGS3Alyxa's Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater VOD playlistMusic Used In The EpisodeLinks to the music used in the podcast can be found below. PS This is Awesome: Episode 364Fred went old-school this week, beating Contra and Super C on NES, then diving into The 7th Guest VR, which he's loving. He also picked up Arizona Sunshine Remake for some VR zombie action. Meanwhile, Jake has been juggling Kingdom Come: Deliverance, Ninja Gaiden 2 Black Remaster, Eternal Strands, and Warhammer 40K: Boltgun. In the news, Sony is offering 5 extra days of PS Plus to compensate for last weekend's PSN outage. There's also a rumored State of Play coming this week—could we finally get some big announcements? In what could've been an alternate timeline, Resistance 4 was once pitched to Sony by Insomniac but was ultimately rejected, despite the developers believing in the concept. On the flip side, Rocksteady is returning to Batman after the underwhelming response to Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League. The Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater remake may have had its release date leaked on PSN, pointing to an August 28, 2025 launch. Meanwhile, Sumo Digital has canceled its new IP to focus on supporting external game development. In a bizarre headline, Treyarch's co-founder, Peter Akemann, made news for illegally flying a drone into a firefighting aircraft during the California wildfires. Hør Lasses tanker senere i episoden.

In today's Daily Fix: A streamer who livestreamed several pirated Nintendo games was finally served a lawsuit from Nintendo. Jesse Keighin, aka Every Game Guru, had streamed early release copies of The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom, Mario and Luigi: Brothership, and more, and even told his viewers how to download pirated copies. Nintendo served him with several cease-and-desist letters over the years, with Keighin even sending a letter back, taunting Nintendo by saying he could 'do this all day' by creating burner accounts and streaming from those. He now faces up to $7.5 million in damages. Yikes. In other news, Konami explained why they're remaking Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater—young gamers have no idea what Metal Gear even is. Since Snake Eater is one of the earliest games in the Metal Gear timeline, it makes sense so start from the beginning with this new 'Delta' version. And finally, in non-gaming news, Andor Season 2 finally has a release date. The highly-anticipated second season to Andor will debut on Disney+ April 22, 2025. This comes about three years after Season 1 debuted on the service.

Golden Globe-nominated actor, action movie star, martial artist, helicopter pilot, heartthrob, thrill seeker and Hollywood royalty, Lorenzo Lamas joins us for an exhilarating ride through decades of entertainment history, from the Golden Age through the non-stop 1990's and beyond! Lorenzo is the son of classic era movie-making duo Arlene Dahl and Fernando Lamas. Lorenzo came into his own playing the grandson of Jane Wyman's character on the legendary prime-time soap, Falcon Crest, and then earned lifelong fans in action and martial arts TV and film, including Renegade and Snake Eater. Lorenzo joins us to talk about life lessons learned in military school, on the set and through fatherhood.A child of Hollywood, Lorenzo's parents divorced when he was two and he often felt like a guest in either home. Lorenzo later learned to appreciate his mother's love for him and her groundbreaking achievements. As a child, he yearned deeply for the attention and validation of his father, larger-than- life film star, Fernando Lamas who married Esther Williams when Lorenzo was 11 and was often either living in another city or away on location. Episode Notes: Welcome back to Arcade Cozy! This week, we're kicking things off with some announcements from everyone's favorite gaming convention: GamesCom. A few things were shown, so we talk about that. Then, what we've been playing! In Corey's case, that's a lot. In Chris' -- not so much. Grab a coffee, and plug in those headphones; this here's a good one! Games discussed include College Football 25, Borderlands 4, Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater, Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of Liberty, Black Myth: Wukong, and more! Do you have thoughts on what we talked about today? Are there things that we missed? Or do you have a few games you'd like us to check out? Episode Notes: Welcome back to Arcade Cozy! This week, a little more gaming news to round off last week. Ready at Dawn, a Meta studio, previously a Sony studio, shutdown, which is a bummer. The good news? Tango Gameworks, company what was shut down by Microsoft a few months back despite the colossal hit that was Hi-Fi Rush, was purchased! So, we talk about that! Then, a game within a podcast about games, and then -- what we've been playing! Grab a coffee, and plug in those headphones; this here's a good one! Games discussed include Dungeons of Hinterberg, Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater, Baldur's Gate 3, Thank Goodness You're Here, and more! Do you have thoughts on what we talked about today? Episode Notes: Welcome back to Arcade Cozy! This week, the first bit of actual news we've had in a while and -- *checks notes* -- it's sad. This week, two big sets of layoffs happened. One at Bungie, and one at GameInformer (courtesy of GameStop). We talk about those and get a little heated because, well, how could you not? Then, we talk about what we've been playing. Chris has been playing Dungeons of Hinterberg, Corey's been playing...a lot of stuff, so we dive in a wrap up the show on a happier note than we started. Grab a coffee, and plug in those headphones; this here's a good one! Games discussed include Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree, Dungeons of Hinterberg, Destiny 2, Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater, Baldur's Gate 3, and more! Episode Notes: Welcome back to Arcade Cozy! This week, no real news of note (again!) except for the fact that we are back after an unplanned week away. This week, Chris and Corey both talk a little Concord. We played it together and have thoughts! Then, Corey talks some Elden Ring and College Football 25, Chris talks some Metal Gear Solid 3, and finishes up with *checks notes* Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess by Capcom. Cozy up, grab a coffee, and plug in those headphones; this here's a good one! Games discussed include Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree, Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater, College Football 25, Concord, Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess, and more! Continuing along my journey of playing Konami and Hideo Kojima's Metal Gear Solid series, next up is Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater. This is the one that is most often held up as the greatest in the series, and I can absolutely see why. It's not without flaws- it's still clunky to play and continues the trend of no Metal Gear Solid game having normal pacing, but I greatly enjoyed my experience with it. We also discussed some things we would like to see in the upcoming Metal Gear Solid Delta remake. Myself & Ramrod in the 9th (and penultimate) game of Season One of our “60 Minutes into” series of shows. We watch 1989's Snake Eater and make our predictions after watching 1 hour of it. After claiming his 5th consecutive victory in the previous episode, can Ramrod make it 6 in a row and keep the trophy again to use for more of his Instagram pics? Are you #TeamDave or #TeamRamrod ? Also make sure to listen to our short introduction show for all the rules and points scoring if you don't already know them.
