W wypadku wyznaczenia generała spoza USA automatycznie pojawia się komplikacja: jaka będzie droga decyzyjna i czy w ogóle niemiecki generał będzie mógł proponować użycie tej broni?– mówił Samol.Wycofanie broni jądrowej USA z Europy?Najdalej idąca obawa generała dotyczy jednak nie tylko łańcucha dowodzenia, ale samej obecności amerykańskiej broni jądrowej w Europie.Widzę jeszcze trzecie dno: że w takim razie Amerykanie tę broń jądrową z terytorium Europy by wycofali. I to jest największe zagrożenie dla naszego bezpieczeństwa– stwierdził.Zdaniem byłego dowódcy Korpusu Północno-Wschodniego, taki krok mógłby radykalnie zmienić poczucie ryzyka po stronie Rosji.Wtedy Rosjanie czuliby się bezkarni. Odwiedzili Argentynę, Nowy Jork i miejsca, które Manuela pragnęła zobaczyć. Po śmierci Manueli Tomasz napisał książkę "Żyć każdym dniem". Była dla niego próbą pogodzenia się ze stratą, ale też wsparciem dla osób zmagających się z chorobą onkologiczną. Kilka lat później zaangażował się w projekty pomagające pacjentom. Wtedy też poznał Inę. Razem tworzą szczęśliwą rodzinę i pokazują, że życie należy doceniać każdego dnia i w każdej chwili.

Jak mówi, Śląsk chciał pokazać zarówno władzom centralnym, jak i parlamentarzystom z regionu, że polityka klimatyczna Unii Europejskiej prowadzi do likwidacji polskiego przemysłu.Liczyliśmy na około 10 tysięcy osób i tyle mniej więcej było. To sygnał, że na Śląsku jest problem. Likwidujemy przemysł, a za chwilę ludzie będą pracować w centrach logistycznych albo w Lidlu i Biedronce– powiedział Hutek.Zdaniem związkowca, polityka Zielonego Ładu oraz system ETS i planowany ETS2 doprowadzą do wygaszenia kopalń, hut i koksowni: „Cały świat się zbroi, a my likwidujemy własny przemysł. Stal przychodzi z Ukrainy i Chin, węgiel z Kolumbii. I gdzie tu niezależność energetyczna?”Problemy w całym krajuHutek podkreśla, że obawy dotyczą nie tylko Górnego Śląska. W manifestacji brali udział także przedstawiciele zakładów z Dolnego Śląska, Podbeskidzia i Częstochowy.Problemy są wszędzie. To powinna być iskra z województwa śląskiego na cały kraj– mówi.Związkowiec zapowiada, że protesty mogą przenieść się do Warszawy.Jeżeli ludzie się nie obudzą i nie wyjdą na ulice masowo, to nic się nie zmieni. Jechać do stolicy w 10 tysięcy nie ma sensu. Trzeba jechać w setki tysięcy i blokować ją na dwa, trzy dni– podkreśla.Gaz nie zastąpi węglaHutek zwraca uwagę, że strategia energetyczna zakłada zastąpienie elektrowni węglowych blokami gazowymi, co jego zdaniem doprowadzi do masowych zwolnień i uzależnienia od importu. „Blok gazowy oznacza 70 procent mniej miejsc pracy. Gaz mamy kupować z zagranicy. To jest dla mnie największy absurd – rezygnujemy z własnego surowca.”Rozwiązaniem – jak mówi – mogłyby być technologie wychwytywania CO₂ (CCS), rozwijane m.in. w Niemczech.Tam buduje się instalacje CCS przy cementowniach. A u nas stoimy w miejscu. Choć mogliśmy budować elektrownie węglowe zeroemisyjne– podkreśla.Hutek przekonuje, że Solidarność protestowała także w czasie poprzedniego rządu.Nie mamy sobie nic do zarzucenia. Podpisaliśmy umowę społeczną z bólem, licząc, że ktoś się w tym kraju obudzi i zrozumie, że tania energia to warunek istnienia przemysłu– mówi.Na Śląsku pracuje obecnie około 80–90 tysięcy górników, lecz – jak twierdzi – nie wszyscy dostrzegają zagrożenie: „Dopóki jest wypłata i wszystko działa, to ludzie myślą, że jest dobrze. A my sygnalizujemy, żeby nie obudzić się za późno.”
