Trump has arrived in Saudi Arabia, and his visit is already one for the history books. In the short time he has been there, he has struck a $600 billion deal with the nation, ceased all sanctions on Syria, made a nod toward peace with Iran, and shattered the globalist interventionist ideology that is trying to spread into the Middle East. It appears the Middle East and the United States are about to respect each other a whole lot more. Next, an ICE protest in New Jersey is currently unfolding, with radical Democrats attempting to break into an ICE detention center, and it looks like politician AOC is urging them on. Finally, Joe and Matt hit on the election fraud that patriots Mark Cook and Ed Solomon are working so diligently to expose, what they have been releasing is utterly insane, so why isnt anyone in our government paying notice?

Next, Ed Solomon joins the show to discuss his latest election fraud findings across America, specifically in the captured state of Colorado. What he's about to reveal will have you on the edge of your seat. Finally, Trump announced the end of Big Pharma, the return of U.S. hostage Edan Alexander, refugee citizenship for white farmers in South Africa, and how he struck a ceasefire deal between India and Pakistan in just one weekend. Happy Friday! Joe is back with another great show! Today joined by guests Ed Solomon and Roger Fuller.  The three analyze the elections across different counties, along with the evidence that there was significant cheating via injections occurring.  Later, Joe discusses how the Democrats are revolting against Joe Biden after he decided to pardon his son, and his reported plans to pardon others.  How the party is more divided than ever before on a litany of other issues, which is causing several prominent Democrats to turn more toward Trump. The left is falling apart right before our eyes - all because of this election.

This afternoon, Joe and David began the show with a conversation about Columbus Day, highlighting the differences between Kamala's and Trump's statements. They noted that, on one side, Kamala and the Democrats want to erase history, while on the other, Trump and much of the GOP aim to preserve and honor it. Joe and David then shifted to discussing this year's election, emphasizing the need to be prepared for anything. After a short break, Joe and David welcomed special guest Ed Solomon, who presented damning mathematical evidence of how the election was stolen and how the machines will be utilized once again in the upcoming election. After Ed's departure, Joe and David highlighted the top stories in the mainstream media, focusing on Kamala Harris, Tim Walz, and more.

Bill & Ted creators Ed Solomon and Chris Matheson, along with stars Alex Winter and Keanu Reeves, always assumed Bill & Ted's Bogus Journey would be the last time anyone would see Bill S. Preston Esquire and Ted Theodore Logan together on the big screen ever again.Bill & Ted's Bogus Journey hadn't done the business of Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure, and so all four men went their own ways in Hollywood, each carving their own successful careers. It wasn't until a random red carpet comment in 2005 that any of them thought seriously about reviving the characters, and not until 2008 that they got together at a BBQ to discuss ideas. And they ended up having a great idea, one they all wanted to do, but it meant writing a spec script, without having any of the rights in place to get this legacy sequel actually made. And then they found out MGM was planning their own reboot called Bill & Ted's Friggin' Badass Voyage...I would love to hear your thoughts on Bill & Ted Face the Music !Verbal Diorama is now an award-winning podcast! Imagine pitching this to a movie studio in the 80s: two clueless slackers travel through time in a phone booth, rounding up historical figures for their high school history project. Not exactly an easy sell, right? But what started as a quirky stand-up routine from college pals Chris Matheson and Ed Solomon turned into a surprise hit. The film didn't just make money—it inspired a sequel, an animated series, a comic book, and even its own breakfast cereal! After a challenging production—complete with budget issues, a rewritten ending, and hundreds of auditions—Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure finally hit theaters. While initial reviews were most heinous, it steadily won over audiences, and the rest is, well, history. So, jump into the time-traveling phone booth, practice your air guitar skills, and don't forget to wind your watch as Nicholas Pepin, Chad Sheppard, Laramy Wells, and I discuss Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure from 1989 on this episode of the 80s Flick Flashback Podcast! Here are some additional behind-the-scenes trivia we were unable to cover in this episode: Many of the historical figures that Bill and Ted brought back died in tragic ways. Several, including Socrates, Joan of Arc, Billy the Kid, and Abraham Lincoln, were either executed or assassinated. Sigmund Freud died by assisted suicide. Some people believe Napoleon Bonaparte's death under house arrest was the result of arsenic poisoning. Historically, Genghis Khan and Ludwig van Beethoven died of natural causes. Bill's "philosophy" to Socrates, "All we are is dust in the wind, dude," is a line from "Dust in the Wind" by Kansas. Socrates' response is, "Like sands of the hourglass, such are the days of our lives." For decades, that was the opening credits voiceover for "Days of Our Lives". Amy Stoch (Missy) appeared in 26 episodes of Days of Our Lives in 1986, while Tony Steedman (Socrates) appeared in 15 episodes in 1990. We interrupt our regular programming for the first of several periodic check-ins with the X-Men's exploits on the silver screen! This "show within a show" begins with 2000's X-MEN - the movie that put comic book adaptations back on the map. Apropos of the concept itself, X-MEN's path to a theatrical debut was long and hard-fought. Plans to translate the series to film can be traced back to the early '80s, with comics creators Gerry Conway and Roy Thomas collaborating on a prospective screenplay for Orion Pictures. After Orion folded, subsequent efforts would invite interest from the likes of Kathryn Bigelow and James Cameron for Carolco Pictures. Carolco's bankruptcy saw the rights revert to Marvel, and development stalled for years with the company unable to make the case for their successful comics franchise. However, impressed with the X-Men's unexpected Saturday morning dominance for Fox's children's television division, producer Lauren Shuler Donner thought it only made sense to option the property for 20th Century Fox's live action slate in 1994. The next two years brought drafts and treatments by 'SEVEN' screenwriter Andrew Kevin Walker, author Michael Chabon, and filmmaker Ed Solomon. The studio considered Brett Ratner, Robert Rodriguez, and Paul W.S. Anderson, but it was Bryan Singer in whom Fox believed they had found their perfect fit for director. Following Singer's hiring, a finalized script was eventually hammered out, with David Hayter receiving sole screenwriter credit (despite contributions from Solomon, Christopher McQuarrie, and Joss Whedon ending up in the onscreen product). Still, Fox was hedging their bets due to a string of critical and commercial failures by superhero adaptations in recent years, capping X-MEN's budget at $75 million (a paltry sum by today's standards). Despite some shake-ups along the way (Exit Original Wolverine and Cyclops actors Dougray Scott and Jim Caviezel, respectively), what materialized was a lean and efficient picture, brought to life by an incredibly talented - if not entirely star-studded - ensemble cast. X-MEN would overperform to the tune of $300 million worldwide, establishing itself right out of the gate as a blockbuster franchise that would carry Fox to huge box office receipts for years to come. It would likewise serve as a career-defining film series for many of its performers, themselves household names today. With the Marvel Cinematic Universe poised to make a go at recreating the magic, X-Position takes a look back at where it all began! Join Jenny, Tim, and unofficial third co-host Keithie as we break it all down. From the creative choices, the good, the bad, and the ugly one-liners, to the cast that could have been (Glenn Danzig's Wolverine? Bob Hoskins??), and even Magneto's Mutant Cave Rave, no thought shall remain unread (or unsaid).

While still in college, he was a staff writer for Laverne & Shirley – making him (at the time) the youngest member of the Writers Guild of America. He then spent three years writing the cult Showtime TV series, It's Garry Shandling's Show, before venturing into feature films in the 1980s. He helped create and co-write the critically acclaimed comedies Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure and Bill & Ted's Bogus Journey (with Chris Matheson). Solomon also worked on a number of hit franchise films, including Men in Black, Charlie's Angels, and then writing the Now You See Me films. Solomon worked on an early version of a Universal The Invisible Man remake, with Johnny Depp. In March 2016 he completed production on Mosaic, a 12-hour long-form TV project for HBO in collaboration with director Steven Soderbergh, This production would mark the first in a series of collaborations with Soderbergh, including the neo-noir film No Sudden Move in 2021, and more recently, the crime series Full Circle, which premiered July 13, 2023. @ed_solomon twitter.com/ed_solomon https://www.imdb.com/name/nm0004412/ Connect with your host Kaia Alexander: https://entertainmentbusinessleague.com/ https://twitter.com/thisiskaia  Produced by Stuart W. “One of the only real skills that I seem to have cultivated is patience,” jokes screenwriter Ed Solomon. “Once you realize nothing is going to happen at the pace you thought it was going to happen at, trying to rid yourself of this notion of time and rush, allows you to deal with the constant let down of it's not ready, more notes, or actors not available, or turnaround.” “That's part of why I started to develop that I need to work on more than one thing at a time. But once you've been doing it long enough, you have all of these things that are one quarter through, an idea you've been noodling on for four years. That becomes your day to day.” Today, however, as of the publication of this article, screenwriters are just past the 100-day mark of the current Writer's Strike. This is the first time, in a long time, that Solomon has had some time to sit and think on projects without deadlines, without accountability, but also without the next payday in mind. “I can never work on the same part of multiple scripts. I can't be in the middle of one script and be in the middle of another script. That's hard for me to jump back and forth between. What I do is, work on an outline, while rewriting something else. That kind of thing, I do very naturally.” Solomon says he would not advise the same advice to new writers. “It's not as easy to jump around when you're new because it's so hard just to get through one, especially the first few. You have to get the muscle memory in, so when you get lost and feel like something is not moving forward, you stay with that feeling.” Look for this article on the Creative Screenwriting website and join Solomon's next episode here: https://linktr.ee/wordbywordbl Want more? Did you know there was another SUPER MARIO BROS MOVIE besides the animated blockbuster with Chris Pratt, Anya Taylor-Joy, Charlie Day, Jack Black, Keegan-Michael Key, Seth Rogen, and Fred Armisen? The first SUPER MARIO BROS. MOVIE hit theaters in 1993 and was the first feature-length live-action film based on a video game. It follows brothers Mario Mario (Bob Hoskins) and Luigi Mario (John Leguizamo) in their quest to rescue Princess Daisy (Samantha Mathis) from a dystopic parallel universe ruled by the ruthless King Koopa (Dennis Hopper), directed by the husband-and-wife team Rocky Morton and Annabel Jankel. Unfortunately, it was a box office failure, and critics hated it. The credits list three writers Parker Bennett, Terry Runté, and Ed Solomon. Why did one MARIO movie succeed when the other MARIO movie didn't? On today's episode, we're heading over to the Battle of the Bands to try and save the world, but before that, we have to make a little pit stop over to both Heaven and Hell, while we revisit the absolutely excellent buddy comedy classic, Bill and Ted's Bogus Journey (1991). This movie was directed by Pete Hewitt and co-written by Chris Matheson and Ed Solomon. This movie stars Keanu Reeves (John Wick, The Matrix), Alex Winter (Death Wish 3, Grand Piano), William Sadler (The Shawshank Redemption, Die Hard 2), Joss Ackland (Watership Down, Lethal Weapon 2), Pam Grier (Jawbreaker, Bones), and George Carlin (Carwash, Dogma). This movie is such a departure from the first film (Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure), but I think it's a great sequel in its own right, and it has a certain visual style and edge to it, that really makes it set apart from movies in a similar vein. I recommend checking it out to see how warped this story gets and seeing these actors having such a fun time making the film. On today's episode, we're heading back in time in our decked out phone booth to "borrow" some historical figures from the past, so we don't fail our final history project, while we revisit the beautiful buddy comedy classic, Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure (1989). This movie was co-written by Chris Matheson and Ed Solomon and directed by Stephen Herek. This movie stars Keanu Reeves (The Matrix, My Own Private Idaho), Alex Winter (The Lost Boys, Freaked), George Carlin (The Prince of Tides, Outrageous Fortune), and Robert V. Barron (Night Court, Eating Raoul). We also have a bunch of other appearances from folks like Al Leong (Lethal Weapon, Die Hard), Jane Wieldlin (Clue, Mission Hill), Dan Shor (Tron, Ghoulies III: Ghoulies Go to College), and Tony Steedman (Scrooged, The Golden Girls). This movie is absolutely a gem, and if you haven't seen it already, you should change that!!! This is a silly buddy comedy on the surface, but I also think has some good messages tucked in there, as well. The film is about two rock n rolling teens who are at risk of failing history class. They take the opportunity to use a time machine to go back and bring back historical figures for the ultimate history presentation. Many of the locations were filmed largely in Arizona. The 10 million dollar film's dialogue includes 70 occasions of “dude” and “excellent” is dropped 30 times.  Ted: [both get served beers in a saloon bar] Whoa. He didn't even card us, dude.
