William Thomas Sadler was born on April 13, 1950 in Buffalo, New York, to Jane and William Sadler. He began his acting career in New York theaters, appearing in more than 75 productions over the course of 12 years. His roles included that of Sgt. Merwin J. Toomey in Neil Simon's Tony Award winning play "Biloxi Blues". He is best remembered for his roles in Die Hard 2, Bill & Ted's Bogus Journey, The Shawshank Redemption and Tales from the Crypt: Demon Knight. He is also a television star, appearing in such sitcoms as Roseanne and Murphy Brown and such movies-of-the weeks as Charlie and the Great Balloon Chase. Sadler also starred as Sheriff Jim Valenti on the WB science fiction television series Roswell.

It is the first feature film adaptation of the book, preceded by miniseries versions from 1979 and 2004. The plot centers on a writer who returns to his hometown of Jerusalem's Lot in search of inspiration, only to discover the presence of a vampire. The film was announced in 2019 and shot in 2021, with additional photography in 2022. The film's release was delayed multiple times. 'Salem's Lot had its world premiere as the opening film at the Beyond Fest on September 25, 2024, and was released on Max on October 3, 2024. The film received mixed reviews from critics. Mr. Crocket, directed by Brandon Espy, is a horror film that debuted on Hulu on October 11, 2024, as part of its "Huluween" lineup. Apartment 7A is a 2024 American psychological thriller film directed by Natalie Erika James from a screenplay she co-wrote with Christian White and Skylar James. It serves as a prequel to Rosemary's Baby (1968). Julia Garner, Dianne Wiest, Jim Sturgess, and Kevin McNally star. Apartment 7A had its premiere at Fantastic Fest on September 20, 2024, before being released simultaneously on Paramount+ and on digital video on demand on September 27. With over 70 professional acting credits, award-winning actor Michael Emery trained at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts. For nearly twenty years, Michael has worked steadily in film and television projects, including appearances on Monk, Shameless, Body of Proof opposite Dana Delany, and Blue Bloods portraying "Phil Daelman", a thief who terrorizes a Latino family. He has also appeared in several popular soap operas such as Guiding Light, Days of Our Lives, One Life to Live, and As the World Turns as "Andy". Michael has appeared in several full-length feature films. He appeared alongside Frances Fisher and Steve Howie in the indie feature Love on the Run directed by Ash Christian. He showed his acting range in the award-winning film Randy's Canvas in the role of Henry, the older brother of Randy, a young autistic artist. Michael's next performance was as a town drifter in the action/horror genre film Bone Tomahawk starring Kurt Russell, Richard Jenkins, David Arquette, and Patrick Wilson. It was his role in this film that garnered him noted attention as an accomplished actor.
