In Today's Uncertainty, We Need to Remember that God Wants to Walk with Us In All Our Life Situations, Both Good and Bad – Just Ask Him MESSAGE SUMMARY: “Lord is my helper and confident, why should I be afraid? What can man do to me?” For this confidence, you must know who Jesus is – both in your heart and in your mind. Jesus is the Son of God – God in the flesh. As Paul tells us in Philippians 4:4: “do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.". Therefore, You do not need to worry about troubling circumstances in your life because you know that He is with you; and He will guide you no matter how dark your life seems. Jesus is the light that shines in darkness. As Jesus tells you in Luke 12:4-5, that when you have anxiety and fear in your life, you must determine if this anxiety derivative of the right kind of fear: “I tell you, my friends, do not fear those who kill the body, and after that have nothing more that they can do. But I will warn you whom to fear: fear him who, after he has killed, has authority to cast into hell. Yes, I tell you, fear him!”. When you are faced with life's tragedies and the anxieties that result from just living your life, Jesus can turn those situations and your fears into ways and results that you cannot fathom, understand, or anticipate; but you can certainly appreciate. Why not give God a chance to walk with you in all your life situations -- good and bad? Ultimately, the Psalmist got it right in Psalm 23:4: “Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me.". TODAY'S PRAYER: Lord, everything in me resists following you into the garden of Gethsemane to fall on my face to the ground before you. Grant me the courage to follow you all the way to the cross, whatever that might mean for my life. And then, by your grace, lead me to resurrection life and power. In Jesus' name, amen. Scazzero, Peter. Emotionally Healthy Spirituality Day by Day (p. 100). Zondervan. Kindle Edition. TODAY'S AFFIRMATION: Today, I affirm that because I am in Jesus Christ, I will seek God's perspective on my situation. For I know that in all things God works together for good to those of us who love Him and are called according to His purpose. The post For God To Walk With Us Again appeared first on The Bridge Church.
This was a hard episode to record. Don't get me wrong, talking with David Spinrad, the Rated Rabbi, has always been easy, and in this episode, you get to come along with us on one of our walks where we talk about The Hobby....but it was hard to record, because it was our last walk with our dogs. As you will hear us talk about, David is the reason I got back into The Hobby after a ten year hiatus in 2022. We were just two dads talking about sports, when he told me that he jumped back into The Hobby and asked me whether I used to collect. Back then, I had no clue what grading was. My cards were in shoe boxes in the attic. There was no Instagram account, there was no podcast, there was no YouTube. Times were much simpler back then. But I was craving connection, meaning, I was turning 40. The joke about it being a mid life crisis turned into a half joke, which turned into a stark reality.David was my original, ground level supporter. We would go on these great walks, talking about The Hobby, and I felt so grounded with great conversations. He encouraged me to collect, share, post, connect, because as he says, in the end, we collect ourselves. But on October 6, 2023, I felt like I lost him, and I lost my guide, my mentor...my friend. However, with time passing, we started to go on our walks again, and I missed them so much. And now, we won't have those walks anymore...but our friendship does not end; instead, it enters a new chapter. So this is not a goodbye then, but L'hitraot - until we meet again, good friend.Thank you for your friendship, generosity, curiosity, support, encouragement, and always challenging me to do better.
WHAT's UP Trolls?! Huge episode ahead. A huge announcement ...we need your help. We need our "troll army" to rise up once again. We're doing something we've never done before. Listen to all 13 minutes and make sure to join the close trolls to get ALL insider troll info. We're officially still waiting. xoxo, stay trolly

Walk With Us Health and Wellbeing Guide
Thanks for joining us today! This week, Pastor Jason kicked off our Advent sermon series, The Reason. This week's message reveals that while we may experience God's presence on the mountain, it is in the valleys of life that we truly come to know Him, finding strength, rest, and peace by relying on the Lord.We also got to celebrate NINE baptisms, with each person sharing their story for God's glory! Go today in the grace and peace of Jesus Christ. We hope to see you next week!
We are the temple of the living God. As God has said: “I will live with them and walk among them, and I will be their God, and they will be my people.” — 2 Corinthians 6:16 Ms. Betty, 86, shuffles with her walker to the front of the sanctuary. She drops to her knees while singing the words of a spiritual: “Walk with me, Lord! Walk with me. While I'm on this tedious journey, I want Jesus to walk with me.” Thirteen years ago Ms. Betty's granddaughter Sabrina died in a car accident, leaving three young sons behind. Ms. Betty took in all three great-grandsons. After church one Sunday, one of those grandsons, Andre Taylor, was shot and killed. Roseland Christian Ministries has been her refuge—she comes here four to five times a week. She's at worship and Sunday school on Sunday, prayer meeting on Tuesday, hospitality committee on Wednesday, and stops in at other times too. Some days she needs prayer; some days she needs groceries. Most of all, like the rest of us, she needs assurance that God is with her—that Jesus is still walking with her. Whether we are aware of it, feel it, acknowledge it, or not—we worship the God who, in Jesus and by his Spirit, walks with us. God is with you. Christ is present with you on your journey today and every day. Walk with us, Lord. While we are on this journey, please continue to walk with us, be our guide, and hold our hand. Amen.

TODAY'S AFFIRMATION: Today, I affirm that because I am in Jesus Christ, I will trust in the Lord with all my heart. I will trust in the Lord with all of my heart and lean not on my own understanding. In all my ways I will seek to know Him, and He will make my pathways straight. From Proverbs 3:5f SCRIPTURE REFERENCE (ESV): Philippians 4:4-9; Mathew 6:25-34; Psalm 23:1-6; Psalms 22b:17-31. As Jose says in this interview, you start as "one" on the Camino but you end up with "one + a thousand". Come walk with us as Jose gives us an update on the Camino from his viewpoint in Pamplona and from his recent walks on the path. For Jose, it's all about connection with fellow Pilgrims and providing ways to showcase the Pilgrims that walk the Camino. You'll hear some great stories about his own pilgrimages and what led him to create El Camino People. It's evolving all the time and now offers Camino guidance and coaching, a non-profit that helps the infrastructure on the Camino, a wonderful podcast in English and in Spanish, and much more! I always love chatting with Jose and seeing all the great ideas he's putting into action to pay it forward so the other Pilgrims get to experience the Camino. I hope you enjoy our conversation. Please give us a thumbs up, comments, and share. SummaryIt's time for grief to come out of the basement, or wherever we have stuffed it to avoid talking about it. Grief is painful. We have walked that journey and are familiar with the thoughts and feelings that are consuming you. We were offered no choice in this matter and it is ours with which to cope. Now, let us walk with you. You need these words. Show Notes:In this episode we introduce ourselves, Kathy and Stephanie, to you. We are mother and daughter and have managed to move through more than one grief experience in our lives so far. We are blessed to have each other to lean on, vent to, cry with (though we usually hide ourselves when we cry) and move forward. But it isn't over. We don't think it ever ends, because love is profound. Yet we continue to live and grieve. www.asiliveandgrieve.cominfo@asiliveandgrieve.com Credits:Music by Kevin MacLeod
