Learn and Memorize Tarot Cards

Play Episode Listen Later Dec 2, 2024 2:43

Welcome to my Memorizing Tarot Card Audio Podcast, where I discuss strategies to learn and memorize Tarot cards.  Today's episode is your three-minute lesson on the Reversal of The Star card. Why an audio course=================The purpose of this audio podcast is to help reinforce key messages by audio, while you clean, exercise, mow your lawn, or drive great distances. There is no charge for this content, and it is intended to provide short, snappy microlearning to help beginners keep practicing and reinforcing the learning. The best way to learn Tarot cards, is to keep practicing working with the cards. Rider Waite Tarot Card Deck=======================I learned how to read cards on the Rider Waite Tarot Deck and the instructor I had said its easiest to have everyone on the same deck when explaining the symbolism. With time, I was able to transfer that knowledge to other decks. If you are a beginner at learning Taro, below are some links to the Rider Waite Tarot Deck to follow along if you need a set of cards. I earn a small referral commission from these links from Amazon. Rider Waite Tarot Deck - USA Link: https://amzn.to/3TW5y0iRider Waite Tarot Deck - Canada Link: https://amzn.to/3YcTwlRRider Waite Tarot Deck - UK Link: https://amzn.to/4eyRUIMRider Waite Tarot Deck - Australia link: https://amzn.to/3ZRB1EwAbout Carrie and  @QuickLearnQuests ===============================I have been reading Tarot cards for 30 years for fun. I took a two and a half day course, and I was so excited to be able to take the mystery out of getting readings done for myself, and to be able to do them myself. We also have social media channels, TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube and all major podcast distributors such as Spotify, Apple, Audible and many others under the handle @quickLearnQuests. I am focusing mostly on my podcasts and YouTube at the moment, but I will expand into more social media more consistently when I find my feet. Here is my YouTube Channel video for interpreting cards in Three Card Spreads: https://youtu.be/P8En-8-8njk?si=7LIlOsFv9pNZ9iK7 Here is the transcript:Welcome to the "Memorizing Tarot Cards" podcast, your three-minute lessons on learning and memorizing each card using symbolism. I use the Rider Waite Tarot, but you can view the card while you listen using your own Tarot card deck or a computer. Today, we're exploring The Star card, focusing on reversals. Let's start with the divine meaning of the card and then its meaning when reversed. The upright Star is a card of hope, renewal, and faith in the future. It reminds us that healing and inspiration are always within reach, even after challenges. When reversed, The Star's energy can feel blocked or diminished. It may reflect a loss of faith, discouragement, or a sense of being out of touch with one's inner light. The reversed Star often appears during moments of self-doubt or when external circumstances seem overwhelming. It's a gentle nudge to reconnect with your sense of purpose and to trust that brighter days are ahead, even if they're not immediately visible. So, what happens when The Star reversed appears in a reading? When The Star Reversed appears in a reading, it's a sign to examine where you may feel disconnected or discouraged. Suppose you are losing sight of your goals or struggling to see a way forward. In that case, this card reminds you that there is always an opportunity to find renewal and inspiration, even in challenging times. It may suggest a need to nurture yourself. The reversed Star encourages you to focus on self-care, allowing time to rest and recharge to reconnect with your inner light. So, what is the best way to memorize The Star card in reverse? Tying the card to a personal experience helps me remember it. For example, my reversed Star card was when I moved from my parent's home in Ontario to Western Canada when I was 19.  The first year I was there, I had a lot of trouble making friends.  I was a nanny and didn't have a car, so I spent a lot of time in the home taking care of three children.  Outings with the kids were limited to parks in the area that we could walk to.  I was lonely and isolated, and I felt like it was Groundhog Day every day.  Even though I wasn't into tarot cards back then, I needed to recognize the energy of the Star Reversed and get back to why I moved across the country.  I found myself back in the Star Upright by taking control of the situation.  I started volunteering after hours to try to meet people.  I also contacted the nanny agency that placed me and asked if any other nannies were interested in play dates with their kids.  These actions started turning that Star card upright. That's all for today's Star Card Reversed episode. Remember, to memorize tarot, keep practicing tarot. Michael Chamberlain's fascination with wild turkeys began in his suburban childhood outside Richmond, Virginia, nurtured by Saturday hunting trips with his diesel mechanic father. Inspired by a wildlife biologist friend of his father's, Chamberlain pursued his passion for wildlife biology at Virginia Tech, specializing in fisheries and wildlife science. In graduate school, Chamberlain's research focused on wild turkeys in the Mississippi Delta, where he combined his love of hunting with academic study. This hands-on experience, involving capturing turkeys, attaching radio transmitters, and tracking their movements, cemented his career in turkey research. ⁣ Chamberlain has uncovered intricate social behaviors in wild turkeys, noting their tendency to be social for most of the year but solitary during reproduction. His studies reveal turkeys' complex social structures and hierarchies, similar to humans, and their regional subspecies variations. He highlights the historical domestication of turkeys, leading to today's large, non-flying commercial breeds, and contrasts their leaner, wilder counterparts. ⁣ An advocate for sustainable hunting, Chamberlain shares tips and emphasizes the importance of mentorship for aspiring hunters. His extensive research addresses concerns about declining turkey populations, particularly in the southeast and midwest.

Brenden Schaeffer discusses the Cardinals 14-1 loss to the D-backs on Tuesday, April 24, 2024 at Busch Stadium. Oli Marmol shared his belief that Steven Matz actually had one of his better outings on Tuesday, which just isn't something that makes sense to say for the manager in that postgame even if he believed it. Zack Thompson got shelled in relief and the offense went dormant again against a pitcher that they ought to have dominated. It's bad, all around. Do the Cardinals have the urgency to turn this around or are we looking at a 2023 redux? Because the momentum from Monday's walk-off is officially squandered after the nightmare of Tuesday's game.
