Kristine Alicia, reggae artiste tells her captivating artist development story! She shares insights about her spiritual evolution and her exciting new music that comes out 22/07/22 HERE IS THE PRE-Save link for the single I&I by Kristine Alicia https://song.link/i/1632581400 "Nature always speaks healing words to me. I've sat in time, life will give the seed” Spiritual empowerment flows from the experiential roots liberated and translated through nature's intelligence. Freedom of consciousness is available to all, yet practiced by few. The metaphysical mysteries surrounding our earthly existence, sing in harmony, without words as innocent and prophetic as the mighty tree grown from a single seed. Nature's choir is an environmental church, a biological atmosphere that feeds human growth and enables confidence beyond the control of Babylon's distract- ing tentacles. “I and I” is an inborn concept acknowledging the Godliness from within. Kristine Alicia captures the essence of a soulful awakening, releasing a wealth of joy while shedding chains of systemic domination inflicted from birth. “I and I” in Rastafarian philosophy is a response to the pain of identity stolen and abused through the ravages of slavery. “I and I” in Rastafari terms is acknowledgement of one's true self activated through Jah guidance. Kristine's new song is an anthem of personal liberation, a gospel of hope promoting good over evil starting with a world that embraces life. Once our inner soul is spiritually enriched by sounds, smells and breath of nature; our body, the physical temple fills with the ecstasy of “I and I” fulfillment. Kristine Alicia's powerful, angelic voice moves this single to higher ground. Her earlier releases singing to societal issues and personal upliftment are further enhanced with “I and I” through the expert production of Galaxy Soundstation and the lyrics co-written by Joel Brown. “I and I” will be released by Zojak Worldwide on July 22, 2022 and will be Coming soon is the Queenz Crown Riddim, featuring all female artists. “I and I” is the first single to be released. --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/yoelomowale/message

As a Black Queer Man, living and thriving with HIV, TIE has stood at many intersections in his life and met God at every one of them. Yoel and Andre talk about the link between Liberation and Imagination. When the rallying cry “Black Lives Matter” was heard across the world in 2013, award-winning singer-songwriter Andre Henry was one of the millions for whom the movement caused a political awakening and a rupture in some of his closest relationships with white people. As he began using his artistic gifts to share his experiences and perspective, Henry was aggrieved to discover that many white Americans—people he called friends and family—were more interested in debating whether racism existed or whether Henry was being polite enough in the way he used his voice. In this personal and thought-provoking book, Henry explores how the historical divides between Black people and non-Black people are expressed through our most mundane interactions, and why this struggle won't be resolved through civil discourse, diversity hires, interracial relationships, or education. What we need is a revolution, one that moves beyond symbolic progress to disrupt systems of racial violence and inequality in tangible, creative ways. Sharing stories from his own path to activism—from studying at seminary to becoming a student of nonviolent social change, from working as a praise leader to singing about social justice—and connecting those experiences to lessons from successful nonviolent struggles in America and around the world, Andre Henry calls on Black people and people of color to divest from whiteness and its false promises, trust what their lived experiences tell them, and practice hope as a discipline as they work for lasting change. https://www.andrehenry.co/ --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/yoelomowale/message

Born in Saginaw, Michigan, Marcus Cole grew up singing in the family group. His early memories of music were fueled by soulful greats like Donny Hathaway, Rance Allen, Stevie Wonder, Sam Cooke among a select few. It was in Utica, NY in the late 70's where Cole also developed his love for artist like Toto, James Taylor, Chicago and Sting which can be heard respectively in his music. After an 8 year stint as one of the lead singers of the seminal gospel group Commissioned, Cole began honing is production and writing skills which were showcased on his debut solo album entitled “Write My Song” released in August of 2006. But Cole says his motivation for music is to promote a “higher consciousness and a good time”, this led him to the construction of his follow-up album, “Soul Revival” which many say is reminiscent of a time when music was socially aware and just made you feel good.
