Eliminate This month we are doing a mini-series inside Amplify Your Team where we are talking about elimination, automation and delegation. Today's focus - ELIMINATE! Let's go THERE with elimination and…dare i say, get ruthless? Before we start though…there are tasks that we just don't want to do…but that we GET to do for our business because it's what's required. I'm not talking about those tasks (because those tasks are where our growth is). And perhaps these tasks can be delegated…but we will talk about that in 2 weeks… I am talking about a task that we can truly eliminate. In the first episode, https://everydayinspiringwomen.libsyn.com/amplifyyourvision/find-more-time-in-your-day-and-weekwith-ead-eliminate-automate-delegate I asked for you to make a list over a two week period {or doing a minimum at a 15 minute brain dump} of the tasks you've been doing. And part of it was to comb through it and ask “Why am I doing this”? I am inviting you to get on this level with me here. Why am I doing this and go through and ask yourself these questions of the tasks is, You are unsure WHY… Were you coached on it but unsure why Did you think you ‘should' be doing it. Because everybody else is doing it. Is it because you love to do it and it brings you joy? Do it. Maybe NOT 24/7 but if it's bringing you joy, keep it on your list and be present to when you're doing it and how much time it's actually taking you. If you decide that ultimately you're doing it and you're not sure why it's really something that you get to consider eliminating from your daily, weekly or monthly task list. I have been following content creator/Beachbody coach Angie Bellemare for a while now, I love her planners. She created a post the other day talking about not enjoying doing reels. She does tons of video content, but she loves long video content and photos. What she ultimately said was she's been pushing to do IG reels, YouTube shorts and tiktoks. Until she finally asked herself why am I doing this? It's a trend and all of the people say I should be doing it…but she was forcing it, not creating the same results for the time she was putting in and instead decided to go back to what has worked for her in the past. Now…this is what I am talking about and what I'm aligned to. If something isn't creating the results you're looking for, take a look at it and see if it is a tweak that you get to do or something gets to shift or do you get to stop doing it? And if you need to give yourself permission to stop doing it. THIS IS YOUR PERMISSION SLIP… It's okay. Keep going! You should definitely have stuff to eliminate from what you're doing. Unless you are such a well oiled machine…and well, if that were the case, you wouldn't be listening to this podcast because I started off the first episode saying if you're here it's because you're likely feeling stressed out, feeling overwhelmed or on the brink of overwhelm. So what are you eliminating? Be mindful - if it's a task that is creating a result perhaps you look to delegate or automate. Otherwise, let's get RUTHLESS… Write your list…what are you eliminating? If you want to send your list to me, I would be happy to take a peek at it. Shoot me an email at Jessica@amplifyyourvision.com I will take a peek and give you some feedback if that's what you are up for. Let's do it. Otherwise, post your list on social tag me @amplifyyourvision . You love your friends and business besties, don't you? Who else could you challenge to eliminate busy work tasks that they're doing and don't need to be? They don't need to be doing these things in their business because we were told once they should or the trend said they should or they've been doing tasks and don't even know why? Send them the first podcast in this series https://everydayinspiringwomen.libsyn.com/amplifyyourvision/find-more-time-in-your-day-and-weekwith-ead-eliminate-automate-delegate Let's get ruthless and round up your friends to get ruthl

This month we are talking all about automation, delegation and elimination. And how it pertains to your business, to your team. This month will support you as well, in getting out of the ‘busy' work of being an entrepreneur, and bringing in different support where it matters the most.   We will be taking time to reflect on tasks you should be doing. What are the high leverage tasks that truly you get to do because it is your zone of genius and other tasks where you get to ask yourself should you even be doing them?   Here is what you can do to get started: Over the next two weeks, every single day write down every single task you do  Get clear on what you are actually spending time doing Go through those tasks and with an objective eye ask yourself what are the things that truly only you can do and you want to be doing Review your list and create 4 categories - Eliminate, Automate, Delegate and Keep.   As you look at the categories, my invitation is to stay out of the HOW to do it and just be in the vision and the dream of this.    Here are a few other questions to ask yourself when considering E/A/D: Does this feel heavy  Is this creating results  What is the ROI of this task Is it creating traction  is it creating income  Is it required in order to create income Why? (generally asking yourself this question!!)    I would love for you to send me an email.  When are you doing this?  Email me jessica@amplifyyourvision.com and tell me the date that you are sitting down and doing your eliminate, automate, delegate list.    My client did this quick braindump yesterday and had a huge breakthrough around how easy it was. So you can have a breakthrough right now too!   Next week's episode and blog post will be on what we can ELIMINATE!!   See you then!

Why we're doing what we're doing.    It doesn't have to be lengthy, it just gets to be the backbone, the driving force behind everything that you're doing.    It's not where you are now, it's where you want to be. It's the ultimate state of what you want your team or your business to look like.    Give yourself permission to think big. In this episode, we talk about: - how the trajectory of our life can change in an instant - the magic of accountability - how we have the power to turn our darkest times into movements   Louisa in her own words: Life as I knew it… Like most people, I had a mental blueprint as to how my life would unfold both professionally and personally.  Early on in my career, I experienced great success as a marketing specialist. I played an integral part in the development of non-profit organizations and event management teams, even launching an Emmy-nominated television series for teens. To top this, I met my incredible husband, and we started making plans to start a family. I was on my way to checking off many of life’s boxes…or so I thought.  An unexpected turn… Then, in my late 30’s, an unexpected series of events would throw my original blueprint right out the window, changing the trajectory of my life. Within a five-year period, both my father and mother were diagnosed with late-stage cancer; my husband, whose brain cancer had been dormant for years, had an aggressive re-occurrence. I immediately went into my strategic, pragmatic, and positive mode, taking action and doing endless Google searches looking for answers to help my loved ones now.  I watched them battle for their lives, all the while witnessing them still living full out.  Sadly, both my father and husband died within 18 months of each other; remarkably my mother entered a full remission. An unexpected, amazing shift… In retrospect, as I shifted my focus internally, what began to appear for me were amazing mentors, the right books, and courses in personal development.   I saw I possessed a natural resilience; I could handle anything that life presented to me, even if it’s not what I had planned. Different gifts and talents began to emerge from within as a writer, intuitive and coach. This gave me great peace of mind and a new perspective on everything; I felt a true personal power especially knowing that I had a choice as to how I reacted and responded to ANY area of my life. It became very clear that this is what I wanted to share and guide others through. My new blueprint in life is to simply live Full Out in the present; to empower others and help them realize that they can integrate and transcend life’s twists and turns with courage, power, and grace.   _____________________________________________________   I'm obsessed with storytelling and vulnerability because I believe that this is the truest way to find and stand in your power! Megan has small town roots (population 2000). She grew up and got a business degree and master's degree. Then returned home and got a job at the high school where her mom taught.  She found herself taking on more and more. Not surprising since she was a little girl...a good girl, a YES woman, do what you are told, those were the scripts that were playing.   That all came to a screeching halt when she and her husband had a baby. She suffered from postpartum for a while after having her daughter. This really put her down the path of personal development/self-help and eventually down the path of entrepreneurship.   She loves to create, innovate and lead.   She decided to take a coaching certification program in 2012 and fell in love with it.   Megan loves to push others to their greatness.   After her first year of working hard in her business, she found she head eared 8000 and felt like a fraud and an imposter. She worked her biz for two more years before making the decision to go and work for her mentor.   That opportunity gave her a chance to learn the ropes and helped her figure out who she was as a coach. This also provided first-hand knowledge by studying coaching clients to see what was the difference between those who were succeeding and those who were not. The main difference is MINDSET - realizing we have the command over our thoughts, emotions, and words.   Successful people have different conversations than unsuccessful people. It’s the ‘same old story’.   Every day no matter what, we need to work our brain.   Now more learning -- go take ACTION!   Books Your Invisible Power - by Genevieve Behrend The Millions Within - by David Nagle Letting Go, the Pathway to Surrender - by David R Hawkins     Megan is the co-founder of Structured Freedom with her husband Shawn and the creator of The Art of Rapid Growth & Rise To Legendary coaching programs. She brings to the table a background in teaching, public education, curriculum development, and entrepreneurship. After leaving her career as a high school teacher in 2010 to step into motherhood, she had a complete identity crisis. She turned a low point in her life into a thriving coaching and online training business. Known as the Business Acceleration Mentor, Megan helps experienced coaches simplify their business and life to make multiple six-figures in 12 months or less.   ______________________________________________________   I'm obsessed with storytelling and vulnerability because I believe that this is the truest way to find and stand in your power! International reputation and branding specialist   Lida made the decision to quit her corporate job and launch her own business back in 2008. Talk about a challenging time. But it turned out to be better than expected as people were looking for assistance with their brand in this new time.   Typically she is not a risk taker. So she interviewed many business owners large and small and overwhelmingly they gave her this advice ‘Don’t write a business plan’. That helped her be fluid and not so rigid on her approach with her company.   She had a convo with her hubby and said she was afraid of losing her sense of community moving from corporate to her own business. So she followed something that was unexpected, something that was pulling her. Taking her knowledge and experience and serving members of the military. That full story is in her TED talk - check that out here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?time_continue=15&v=9BloWnsJCRw   Check out her response to how she does self-care - for Lida, it’s about treating herself. BUT not just treating herself, but being intentionally mindful and present while she does it. So when she upgrades her flight or orders Uber Black - she is fully present and reflects on why she is doing what she’s doing. LOVE THAT!   Her company helps businesses who want to build a brand, change a brand or repair their reputation.
