Happy New Years to all our Frenemies listeners! Thank you for such an incredible year of support! In todays episode we go over more than just our pick'ems. Gambling is now legal in Ohio so on 2-3 years we will have our own gambling section. Hunter was rubbed the wrong way by the Bears but the right way by Cinnamon who may have just saved our beloved Hunters life. Baker is blazing hot again and Jack feels Uber confident about the rams chances against the Chargers and Coach Beta. Once again Carter is very angry today but Jack and Jake try to walk him through his anger into a new year. This should be an amazing week --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/fsports/message Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/fsports/support
Guess who's back again! It's Baker! Jack and carter could not have been more excited for the return and both have vastly different opinions on how his career will go following his NFC Player of the Week. We have a battle of the bottom when it comes to the Broncos and Cardinals. Kyler's out for the year but some say Colt McCoy is a better fit for the Cardinals. The NFL had a fantastic week 11 and the Frenemies made their picks for their game. Hunter, Carter, and Jack are battling for that first place spot in the Pick'ems. Jake however had a new battle this week. Historically, Jake has made massive wagers such as a pierced nipple and getting punched by a D-1 defensive tackle. In this episode, jake was so determined to pick a game right that he decided if the team he picked lost, then he would wax his entire right leg! We're there games into the NFL season and the stars are just beginning to align for certain teams. The chargers were super bowl favorites all of three weeks ago and now they look to be in jeopardy of missing the playoffs after a 1-2 start riddled with injuries. We have some surprises at 2-1 like the Giants and Cowboys in the NFC East. The jaguars are 2-1 out of no where and this week we get the 3-0 E-A-G-L-E-S EAGLES against the 2-1 DUVALLLLL Jacksonville Jaguars. Week 2 of the NFL Slate had some of the biggest collapses we've seen as football fans. To nobody's surprise the browns blew a two touchdown lead with under 2 minutes to go, the raiders gave up a 23-0 lead in the second half, and Tia looked like the left handed Dan Marino as he threw 6 Touchdowns in route to a stunning comeback against the Ravens. Week 1 wrapped up an awesome start the the NFL season! The biggest week one storyline was Bakers revenge game against the Browns. It's fair to see there were some colorful insights from the Frenemies regarding Bakers level of play. Around the league we had some shockers, the Bears are in first place, the Seahawks are alone in the NFC West and Nathaniel Hacket is a bona fide moron. Last years Pick'em champ Hunter Smith starts off his campaign strong as after a week he's got the best record on the podcast. A great slate of games this week makes for a tough Pick'em process. The AFC south is winless, the Browns and Giants won on week 1 and the Seahawks stand alone atop their division. Nothing was predictable about week 1 and week 2 looks to be shaping up the same way. --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/fsports/message Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/fsports/support
Week 2 of college football was wilder than anybody could of predicted, with the exception of Hunter who nailed it to a tee. Alabama went out of conference on the road for the 4th time in Sabans reign and now we know why he never leaves his conference. Alabama was getting dominated in the trenches by Texas and played their back up Q.B for the majority of the game after an injury to 5 star Q.B Quinn Ewers. In this episode we have a very heated debate on the medias Bias with the SEC and if it's a legit concern as number 6 Texas A&M lost to App. State while Florida looked awful against U.K after an enormous jump in the polls after their win against Utah. Finally we have a big discussion about the “Fighting Irish” who's name is now offensive to Irish people after Marcus Freeman's 0-3 start as a head coach. Queen Elizabeth wasn't the only one to kick the can this past weekend as Nebraska finally canned Scott Frost after a 45-42 loss to Georgia southern. Tough. All in all it was a great weekend of college football and here's to many more --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/fsports/message Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/fsports/support

That's right, we're back to talking NFL Football! The craziest NFL off-season is finally starting to come to a close with presumably the biggest thing left to come is the length of Deshaun Watsons suspension. The pieces for most teams are finally in place and we can now begin analyzing rosters and predicting how certain teams will fall into place. Surprisingly, the team that got the most air time on todays episode were the Pittsburgh Steelers. Now that is in large part due to our special guest Nolan Beck filling in for Carter Hipp today and he is abundantly confident that the Steelers who were a playoff team last year now have the potential to contend with new QB Mitch Trubisky. The Frenemies (Minus Hunter) are back with another college football episode today. The goal of this episode? Saving College Football. Currently, the NCAA is in a disarray with conference realignment and NIL. The sport we all know and love is now heading to the wastelands all because of money. Currently two teams from California will be joining the nations furthest northeastern conference and will travel ungodly amounts of miles over the course of the season. As a matter of fact USC and UCLA will be traveling the same distance as Lewis and Clark once did, except they will make these travels every other week. The future of college football is bleak, the old heads want money and this will destroy the Power 5 conferences which led us to discuss the best case scenarios moving forward for the sport. Would that mean an increased playoff? A longer season? Would that effect players playing in bowl games/playoffs. All these questions are answered on todays episode! --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/fsports/message Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/fsports/support

The Golden State Warriors have now made the finals in 6 of the last 9 seasons… nice. They seemingly had their easiest matchup in the conference finals as they had their way the Mavericks. In the east we were treated to a fantastic series that went 7 games and ended with Jimmy Butler having a shot to win it in South Beach. The Celtics ended up prevailing under first year coach Ime Udoka as they will finally be back in the NBA Finals. Ironically the Celtics are heavy favorites to win the Finals according to BPI yet the Warriors are favored in Vegas, it should make for an electrifying series. With Steph being back to the finals again the most heated part of this episode was who is the greater player all time: Steph Or KD? The playoffs are wrapping up and what a playoffs they've been. The process is still not trusted to win as Embied and Harden have been sent home yet again while the Heat are back in the conference finals. The Celtics are also back in the conference finals after a gutsy 7 game series against the defending Champs Bucks. Over in the west the Warriors are also back to their roots after beating the Grizzlies in 6 without JA Morant down the stretch. The shocker series was down in the desert. Game 7 Suns vs Mavs: winner to the conference finals and the Suns just laid down and gave up. It was a very pathetic series for the suns. The last NFL episode we recorded we thought Russel Wilson to the Broncos was the biggest storyline of the off-season. Boy we're we wrong. In today's episode we breakdown everything that has happened since then which includes the Chargers acquiring Khalil Mack and JC Jackson. The bengals revamped their O-Line for Joe Burrow and other Super Bowl contenders for worse. Rodgers lost his best receiver as Davante Adams was traded to the Raiders. Another AFC west shocker came shortly after when Tyreek Hill was traded to the Dolphins and inked a massive $120 million extension. The AFC west is now loaded and the best division in football. Across the pond the GOAT Tom Brady has since unretired and will now be playing at least one more year of football. The reigning champs got better as they added Allen Robinson and now Bobby Wagner which occurred after the filming of this episode. Matt Ryan has since been traded by Atlanta to the Colts after they blew yet another lead and failed to land DeShaun Watson. Wentz is now a Commander which officially makes Washington the most mediocre team in football. Then finally the Move of the off-season happened in the AFC North that has everyone up in arms! Mitch Trubisky is a Pittsburgh Steeler! All jokes aside the Browns just made arguably the biggest and most controversial trade in this history of the NFL giving up three first round picks and more for superstar DeShaun Watson in shocking fashion after Watson already told the Browns they were out of the running. This begged the questions how will Watson work in Cleveland, how much will he play this year, and what's going to happen to Baker Mayfield? --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/fsports/message Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/fsports/support

The NFL just went Nuclear! Russel Wilson just got traded to the Broncos for a Titanic size boatload! Russ is a Super Bowl champion but did the Broncos give up to much? Calvin Ridley made the worst bet of all time. He gambled $1500 and lost over 10 million. We discuss if a full season was the right length for suspension. That brings us to Goddell. Everyone on the pod is in agreeance that he is a dictator over the NFL overall is just a horrible person but everyone knows that. --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/fsports/message Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/fsports/support
A massive earthquake has shaken up the NBA and there are new stars scattered everywhere. C.J McCollum is now enjoying the gumbo and jambalaya with Zion and company in New Orleans. Norman Powell possibly creates a championship-winning roster with Paul George and Kawhi Leonard. The Kings traded their only future piece in Haliburton for Sabonis? Nobody on our panel could understand what the Kings were trying to do. The Cavaliers took a risk and dealt a first-rounder for Indy's Caris Levert. Are the fully healthy Cavs one of the best teams in the east? Finally, Ben Simmons and some depth get dealt for James Harden. By far the biggest blockbuster of the season gets the Frenemies riled up because the entire panel disagrees with who won this trade and it leads to a firey discussion to end the episode. --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/fsports/message Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/fsports/support
Obj is a champion, maybe deserved maybe not but don't worry we calmly and respectfully discuss that. The Bengals are back in hibernation after losing a heartbreaker. WHAT A CHAMPIONSHIP WEEKEND! The Bengals are back in the Bowl after 31 years and Sean McVay and the Rams are back in the Super Bowl since 2019! There was so much to talk about in this episode. At first we debated if the Bengals won their game or if the Chiefs lost it. We also learn Jakes new least favorite player is Pop Tart on the 49ers. Is Jimmy G Nick Mullins? We answer that and for some strange reason we argue if Detroit's a top 7 basketball franchise all time even though the NBA has nothing to do with this episode --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/fsports/message Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/fsports/support
Conferences Collide today as we start with the Bengals and the Chiefs. We discuss if the Bengals magic finally diapers or if Joe Brr can edge another one out. The more important game is the Rams Vs. Spoiler Alert: it was the best playoff weekend ever! The first 3 games were decided by field goals as time expired and then the finale was the greatest football game ever played. The Frenemies discuss who's to blame for the Titian's debacle against the Bengals which starts our show off with a bang. Jake is one game away from being met with a punch by a 6'4 250 lb DT. Cater and Jack then go on a rampage about the 49ers Packers game because both of them strongly disagree how much blame was on Aaron Rodgers. Finally we talk about the greatest game ever played and Carter believes if the QBs were swapped Josh Allen wins.
