Kings fans keep asking when is this team going to make the playoffs. The answer to me is pretty simple. As soon as De'Aaron Fox starts performing like a max player. Last season was not good for Fox to say the least. He played in only 59 games...his 3 point shooting was awful at 29% and shot 75% from the line. He also looked disinterested for much of the season. Yes, Fox played better upon the arrival of Sabonis, but I want a max player to be the guy night in, night out. So you want to make the playoffs Kings fans? Ya better hope Fox starts living up to his contract! Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices
Kyle Draper, Kings play-by-play & pre/post game host The Sacramento Kings introduced the man who will likely be their starting 4 this year, the number 4 pick in the draft, Keegan Murray. What do the Kings need to do know to surround him, Fox, and Sabonis with complimentary talent? What do the Kings have going for them? What things can fans really look forward to with the roster that is currently constructed? Draymond Green was way over the line in his remarks about Kendrick Perkins. Plus, the Giants struggles continue, Yankees win in dramatic fashion, and a real baseball fight.
James Ham, 1320 Kings Insider, The Kings Beat Draft Jaden Ivey. The end. That's the opinion of someone on this show. Does it matter he hasn't worked out here? No. Pretty much no one has. Does it matter it doesn't seem he wants to be here? Maybe that matters a little more. We'll talk all the latest news and notes surrounding the Kings and the number 4 overall pick. Yahoo reports Keegan Murray had dinner with Fox and Sabonis. The Athletic reports the Kings are comfortable drafting at 4. Trades NOT involving the number 4 pick should be the highest priority.

Team have lost three straight sitting 29th in offensive efficiency scoring 101.4 per 100 possessions while allowing 118.7 per 100. Kings has gone under in nine of thirteen back to backs. Phoenix has won two of three with their 111-105 road win at Utah Jazz. Suns have played to under in six of seven sitting second in defensive efficiency allowing 107.4 points per 100 possessions while scoring 106.8 per 100.
Sacramento Kings vs. LA Clippers NBA Pick Prediction 4/9/2022 by Tony T. Kings at Clippers—Davis and Sabonis out for Sacramento with Fox doubtful along with Len questionable. Preston out for LAC with Kennard questionable. Sacramento dropped both on their home stand with the 123-109 home defeat to the New Orleans Pelicans. Kings have played to over in five of six surrendering 115.7 points per 100 possessions while scoring 109.3 per 100. LAC has won four of five with their 113-109 home win to Phoenix Suns. James Ham, 1320 Kings Insider & Kings Beat The Kings are in Indiana tonight in a battle for lottery balls. We know Sabonis is out, Fox almost certainly is, and Tyrese Haliburton is questionable. Its Davion Mitchell vs Buddy Hield. What are you hoping to see these next 9 games, particularly from Davion. What are the Kings missing out on with Sabonis, and likely Fox, out moving forward? The crazy NFL off season continues with yet another All-Pro traded. Tyrese Hill is headed to the Miami Dolphins.
Kings welcomed the Phoenix Suns into the G1C on Sunday and gave the #1 team in the league a run for their money. While they were missing Chris Paul, the Kings fought the Suns tooth and nail until late in overtime. The Kings themselves were without DeAaron Fox and lost Sabonis late in the 4th quarter, but the Kings showed grit and fight that ignited the G1C home crowd. While the losses have piled up, the Kings seemed to have breathed life back into their fanbase with this new rendition of 2021-22 Kings. While the loss sucks, it moved the Kings above Indiana Pacers and into the 5th best draft lottery odds. While it may not be good for basketball karma to talk about tanking for lottery odds, the result of this game fits the criteria for "best of both worlds" for the King's future. Speaking of Pacers, the Kings faced them in Indiana on Wednesday and ... it's not totally clear they won, despite beating the Hali and Buddy led Pacers 110-109. On one hand, getting a win is always great, no matter the context or circumstance and the Kings were able to come back in the 4th after suffering a double-digit deficit in the 3rd quarter while looking helpless. But on the other hand, the Kings moved back to #6 in the lottery odds and played vets like Alex Len over Queta, prioritizing likely meaningless wins over crucial development. You decide whether this was a win or loss for the Kings. --- This episode is sponsored by · Anchor: The easiest way to make a podcast. https://anchor.fm/app --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/sackingtherapy/message Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/sackingtherapy/support
