Ricky had the opportunity to chat with Joy Brooker. Joy is a singer/songwriter and musical performer with a singing telegram business that has made her a viral sensation on Tiktok. Although she posts videos of herself delivering telegrams on multiple platforms, Joy grew popular on Tiktok with a video that garnered over 50 million views within a week. She used her background as a comedian and classically trained singer to find the perfect side hustle, and was able to walk away from her 9-5 marketing job upon going viral. Joy currently operates her telegram business out of her home in Cape Girardeau, MO during the week and performs as a professional pianist and singer on the weekends. She was also recently selected to audition in front of the celebrity judges on Americas Got Talent, which premieres Tuesday, May 30th, on NBC.
