Life Talks is about having conversations that matter, that have depth, and about re-connecting to our roots so that we can bear fruit that gives meaning to our lives.
Jon Rennie is co-founder, president, and CEO of Peak Demand Inc. He served as a U.S. naval officer on nuclear submarines and has close to 30 years leading industrial businesses in North America. We talk about his story, and what life is like in the navy and in a submarine, as well as leadership, transparency, government response during 2020, and faith. Grateful to have crossed paths and invite you to follow his work.
Anthony has been a positive influence in my life, and I value his core messages and beliefs. In this episode we talk about freedom, responsibility, limited government, peaceful parenting. We also talk about why it is so important to be the change you want to see, instead of imposing it on others, and trying to change other people's views.
Another episode with my father, grateful for the wisdom he has shared with me over the years. In this episode we speak on faith, emotions, mistakes, taking action, and trusting yourself.

And of course we always dive into consciousness, our human experience, and our aim to grow in a deeper awareness of our human experience.
In this episode of Life Talks I speak with Steve Mistovich. Steve shares his story and experience with being a father and we dive deep into the importance of faith.
Jumping out the boat, Born to live Abnorml, and Faith
In this episode of Life Talks I speak with Akira the Don. Akira created his own genre of music called Meaningwave. Meaningwave as he states, is taking wisdom of the ages and making music out of it. Jordan Peterson, Wes Watson, Alan Watts, Carl Jung, Jocko Willink, and David Goggins are just a few of the many voices he makes music out of. We speak on overcoming anxiety through understanding memories of the past and projections of the future. We also speak on Santa Claus and the idea of Santa being more important than the "actual" Santa Claus. What Santa Claus stands for is much more important than is he real, and our ability to express that to the next generation depends on our relationship with how we see the world. You can find Akira's music, and work here: www.meaningwave.com https://www.youtube.com/@akirathedon
In this episode of Life Talks I speak with Joseph - Masculine Theory on men's issues. From understanding and integrating our animal nature, to consciousness, and the paradoxes that present themselves as we grow in deeper truths. You can find Joseph on Youtube and Twitter: @MasculineTheory

In this episode I speak with Kristi, who shares her story of overcoming difficulty with childbirth. Kristi believes, as do I, that God's plan is much bigger than our own narrow view of the world, and in times of difficulty our most powerful weapon is faith, to let go and let God.
In this episode I speak with Daniel Riley, an author who shares his story of overcoming adversity in his life, simply by starting by shutting off all of the distractions of life and taking a 30 minute walk a day. Daniel went from writing 300 words a day to 3000 by making small changes, and now helps others do the same through: -1 on 1 sessions per month on writing -Ghostwriting -Editing and Proofing -Marketing -Social Media Engagement Find his services here: www.whimsyland.org He can also be found on Twitter directly here: @Misterdpriley We also dive into the importance of free speech, and how we can use social media instead of it using us.
In this episode Thomas and I talk about the foundations that good stories and movies are built on and dive into the importance authentic faith has on our lives.
In this episode I interview Matt Izzo, who is currently training for an Ironman race. For those who are not familiar an Ironman is consisting of a 2.4-mile swim, a 112 mile bicycle ride and a marathon 26-mile run, raced in that order with a total completion time not exceeding 17 hours. We speak about what drove him to compete at this level, how he prepares, what he eats, and then dive into the spiritual benefits he's experienced from it.
In this episode with my father I start with a song from Akira the Don featuring Jordan Peterson called, "Tell the Truth." Many times in our lives we lie, and more times than not in subtle ways, especially not living to our full potential, and being unapologetically who we truly are in relationships, work, and life. My father shares his experience so that others can learn from his wins, and his mistakes.
"When you're trying to figure out what your purpose is, and you're struggling with it. You can't see the label from inside the bottle." You have to be willing to be vulnerable and sacrifice pride to realize we are all trying to figure it out along the way. Deana Mitchell's story should be an inspiration to others to share your story, because it ultimately is the only source of real that you have access to, everything else is dogma. Your lived experience is the best thing you have to share.
In this episode we talk about Lion King, and the parallels they have to our life, especially in the modern world. We also speak on its relationship to the spirit of the father, and the importance in growing in faith as we come to understand it.
In this episode I talk with Tyler Todt who shares his journey of how he made 1.8 million in poker, and going from focusing on making money, having status, to having a fulfilling relationship with his wife and children, staying positive, and growing in faith. You can find his website here: https://tylertodt.life/ You can find him on Youtube and Twitter @Tyler Todt You can find his books here: tylertodt.crd.co
In this episode I speak with Justin Copeland on his work with navigating the intentional life. Justin believes people should take chances instead of remaining comfortable (like being stuck in the 9-5 marketing job, not out of wanting to, but out of obligation - forever) and to look for the opportunities in life as they arise. You can find more from Justin here: linktr.ee/JustinLCopeland
In this episode I speak with my father again on what we talk about all the time, life, values, and the whys of life. We speak on learning from previous generations of what's truly important (which can be defined more as a remembering than a learning).
In this episode I speak with Tony Davis, a NASM certified personal trainer who shares his story about bodybuilding, nutrition, wrestling, and how he overcame his struggles and is now inspiring others to overcome theirs. I met Tony through Elliot Hulse (you can check him out on Youtube as well). He can be found below: liftingwithtony.com Bearded Barbell Podcast - Apple/Google/Amazon/Spotify @tonydaviscoaching - Instagram/Tik tok Tony Davis - Facebook
In this episode I speak with Matt Izzo on the importance of not only working out and being healthy but in losing the negative belief systems that keep us unhealthy and fat. Anyone can lose weight, but how do we create a way of seeing ourself in a authentically positive manner. We may lose weight but if we keep the image of that fat guy or girl in our head, then it's only a matter of time before that reality shows up again. We also talk about the importance of growing in consciousness, or wisdom, in seeing the world as it is, instead of our narrow view of it. You can find Matt here: Twitter - @MattIzzo Youtube Channel - @Matt Izzo Fitness Instagram - @mattizzofitness For Matt's Free Fat Loss, and Recipe Guides and more check his Linktree https://linktr.ee/MattIzzo
In this episode I talk with Zac Small about the importance of USING social media instead of it using YOU. We also talk about the importance of action instead of the illusion of perfect. Zac runs the Fraternity of Excellence - a place for men to become the best version of themselves through comradery, responsibility, and action. You can find more from Zac here: https://linktr.ee/ZacSmall_

He leads and inspires through strength, results, and victory. We speak about Christ and the conflicts that Christ faced, and the power that faith and internal peace has through him if we believe. Jerry can be found on Twitter @Men_of_Grit
Appreciate Timothy Reigle joining me in this episode of life talks to talk about an addiction we shared silently for a while - porn. The guts of this man to share his pain so that others can understand it is commendable. Real men take responsibility for their actions, and fix it. Many live in regret/guilt/shame - rather than using it as a catalyst for growth. He is a living example of OVERCOMING. Timothy defines the differences between lust and love, men and women, accountability partners, the illusion of porn, and the power of faith in dealing with addiction. The same principles apply to most addictions. -Porn -Alcohol -Drugs And even the more "socially" acceptable forms of addiction that are come from a wound that makes people seek external validation for an internal problem. You can find Timothy's work, social media, courses, and contact information through his linktree here: linktr.ee/TimothyReigle
In this episode we talk about trauma (as we often do), and the importance of coregulation (simply having a conversation of value/understanding).
In this episode I speak with Cala on the importance of strong fathers, parenting with love, and how communication is THEE key to making all of these things work as they should.
In this episode I speak with Redmound who is from Johannasburg, South Africa. He shares what life and culture is like on the other side of this world. We talk about religion vs religionism and what makes a man a man.
In this episode I speak with Anthony Migliorino on the importance of TRUE strength and parenting through peace. We speak on how these two are really the same thing. A truly strong man IS a peaceful man. This peace is found through sifting out all of the information that is out there and taking action and being able to discern when this action is just busyness. Anthony also goes into the importance of forgiveness, and equally important, the importance to apologize and take responsibility when you do wrong.
In this episode with Thomas Andrew we speak about the foundations that hold society together are much deeper than we realize. These foundations are archetypical meaning an idealized model. This idealized model can be referred to as the kingdom of heaven. This heaven will be realized when enough of our collective seek it first, then act on it as they understand it. We must first realize we have all fallen short of this ideal and when we recognize this internally, we have the capacity to truly forgive. Essentially we don't come to this ideal without failing forward.
In this podcast with my father we talk about navigating the fog of our world today. This fog that he refers to is dealing with a changing world but also not forgetting the conservative values that keep us conscious. In a world that has become so unconscious, ignorant, and self serving, we talk about how to return to our true selves in the midst of fear, guilt, shame and controlling institutions. A common theme that comes up in talks with my father is that, it's so easy to get lost in everything going on out "there" but if we all take responsibility for in here, out there will take care of itself.
In this episode I speak with founder of Fraternity of Excellence, Zac Small. Zac is a husband, a father, a navy veteran, an author, a speaker, and is someone who has conquered alcohol addiction. We met on Twitter through the previous guest George Bruno so let this episode be testament to the power of networking and how opening one door leads to another. Zac shares what Fraternity of Excellence is about, and is all about ACTION. Stop researching, stop talking, stop pretending, and take action, and be honest. It is through being honest where we are in our life, and taking action that provides results... not talking about it, or pretending we are something we're not. You can find Zac here: Website: https://thefamilyalpha.com/ Youtube: https://www.youtube.com/c/TheFamilyAlpha Twitter: @ZacSmall_ If you're looking for a group of men who are focused on growing as a man in all aspects from marriage, to fatherhood, to faith, to business, and want to build relationships and be held accountable to those standards, join Fraternity of Excellence here: https://fraternityofexcellence.com/ref/119/
George Bruno is a former therapist and professor. He now coaches men for change and traction in their lives. He works specifically with men, and explains why in the podcast. He helps men get out of toxic relationships, including cheating, drug abuse, and physical abuse. In a world that has become feminized and many men have lost their sense of identity, George is in the arena helping men reclaim their masculinity not just by speaking about it, but by living it. George shares talks about how many men will brag about how many women they've slept with, but George says, "I'm ashamed." That stood out to me, because of my own experience. At the time of my youth, I thought that was the thing that made me valuable, because everyone else was aiming for that, but the truth is deep down, that shame, is not just George's but mine too. We like to think we're all different, and to some extent we are, but at the root of our human experience, men and women both want the same thing, we've just collectively forgotten it and are slowly coming to remember. Follow George for more here: Youtube - https://www.youtube.com/c/GeorgeBruno Newsletter - georgebruno.com Instagram - https://www.instagram.com/georgeabruno
In this midst of lockdowns, like everyone else I was trying to make sense of our world. Fear, mandates, lockdowns. Guilt, Shame, and obedience. Masked as compassion, love, and reason. In my heart, I know this... When it comes to love and reason, there is no guilt and shame. My favorite lines from this podcast is a simple truth Matt Fu said, "I think you have a group of people who want to dictate how other people live their lives, and you have another half of people who just want to live free and live the way they want to, and leave other people alone." In this episode we talk about health and freedom.
In this episode of Life Talks, I speak with my father about purpose, and the meaning of life. The importance of having a purpose is not nearly as important as having "presence". A life with purpose, but no presence, is a blind ego.
In this episode I speak with Deana Mitchell and Erin Moran on the importance of connecting with people and how that brings healing. They say shared pain is healed pain, and this episode - Emotional Trauma - is a testimony to that.
In this episode I speak with Frank Stephens about holidays and our views on meaning behind them or if they're just another reason to spend money. We also speak on the relationship between corrupt institutions vs corrupt people, and how to determine where the line between that distinction is made.
In this episode I speak with my father for a second time on Life Talks. He dives into the importance of communication and its influence on relationships, empathic listening, dependence vs independence, interdependence, and the difference between passive, aggressive, and assertive. He also explains the 3 step method for dealing with conflict.
Erin reached out to me and I'm glad she did, I was expecting an hour long conversation which naturally became 3 hours after diving into deep ideas of life, including corporate America, conscious living, relationships, and the divide of identity politics.
In this video Frank, David, and I discuss the political divide and have the conversations that many shy away or ignore different views, from election integrity, to mainstream media, to riots, and the events that happened at the capitol recently. The differences between fighting against each other vs coming together will depend on allowing different viewpoints as well as the conclusion of the discussion of the purpose of life, which unites all of mankind.
In this episode I speak with Kevin Gallagher about the illusory ego, and the power of our true nature. Kevin shares tools that he's used to change the way he thinks about things, which therefore changes the way he sees them. When we aim for truth, this opens us up to resistance which is often referred to as the dark night of the soul.
In this episode I talk with Dr. Patrick Ryan, who runs Total Life Chiropractic & Wellness in Randolph NJ. Dr. Ryan and his team are devoted to promoting healing the body from within, rather than the false paradigm of fixing the "environment". Dr. Ryan talks about his journey becoming a chiropractor, the importance of proper posture, supplements, food, exercise, and sleep! Dr. Ryan can be contacted via his website by phone or website below: 973-252-6040 https://www.totallifechiropractic.com/contact-us/ You can also find him on Youtube here: https://www.youtube.com/user/drpatrickryan/videos
In this episode I talk with Gerald Ford, a man who has grown as a leader that I met at "Grounding Camp" hosted by Elliot Hulse. Gerald shares things he has learned growing up, his passion for culinary since age 14, and the power of discipline. You can find him on Facebook, Instagram, Youtube, and Linkedin. His website is https://www.legitconcepts.com/ The programs and tools he offers can be found at his Linktree: https://www.linktr.ee/geraldlford
In this episode I talk with father, Peter Bacchioni, about the values he learned from his father, corporate America, the political divide and how we can unite, the need for the masculine and feminine, and the importance of being yourself.
In this episode Frank and I talk about the corruption in government, our ignorance of the problem, how cowardice is not a viable solution to problems, global warming and CO2, posterity, and buying Mcdonalds for a stranger. Those who make peaceful revolution impossible make violent revolution inevitable. Franks frustration is in the ignorance of the problem that we have been asleep to for years. As he states many times, he doesn't have a problem with people it's the ideas and partial truths (and lies) that he's against.
In this episode, I have a talk with an old friend Matt Davis, and we share our passion for connection through music, problems with society, how we influence society through each individual action, and the human doing vs the human being.
In this episode Jim and I discuss mainstream media, the importance of staying truly positive in the midst of negativity and victimhood, differences between generations, and more.
In episode one David and I dive into some of our political differences, the universal power of music, and most importantly coming together.
