Katrina Villon-Smith is the female lead vocalist for the LJPC Worship Band. She is also a hair stylist, wife, and mother of three. Katrina shares about growing up in a home where her parents were alcoholics and how that led her to make similar choices. She began a relationship with Jesus through AA and later met her husband there as well. Katrina shares candidly about how she felt about herself before coming to faith in Christ and how Jesus changed her identity. She also shares candidly about some struggles she has had in her marriage but how she is claiming victory through Christ in the midst of those struggles. We’re so thankful to have Katrina leading worship for us at LJPC and we’re excited to share her story here.

Megan Broderick is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and the Director of Counseling at The Bishop's School. She has a B.A. in Communications from Wake Forest University and an M.A. in Marital and Family Therapy from University of San Diego. After working in television for shows like Saturday Night Live and The Ellen DeGeneres show for several years, Megan says there was something tugging at her heart to become a therapist. While she says that she did not set out to work with adolescents, now that she is in that role and has been for 7 years, she absolutely loves being on the journey to adulthood with teenagers and their families. Megan has 3 Daughters, Molly (9), Brynn (8) and Sawyer (5) and is married to Dan Broderick, a La Jolla native, who works in Commercial Real Estate
