A rocking party with a lots of ravers that marked an Era in Tokyo. After more than 10 years we haven't just only done amazing events here, but we have joined the strongest artist roster in our country. On 2010 Totem Traxx Records was born, and 88 solid releases mark a path of diverse artistic expressions, all of them oriented to move the dance floors worldwide. To celebrate this Anniversary, DO SHOCK BOOZE compiled 17 music gems; half of them already released in the past and half of them are brand new remixes or original tracks. International artists like Christian Hornbostel, ACTWIN, J.A.K.A.M., Mariano Santos, LUNASUN(Haruo Chikada & OMB), CD HATA,DJ HI-C, Akira Arasawa,etc. have released wonderful music in our label. But we have showed to the world that we have great artists in Japan that know how to do their job too, and this compilation is another solid proof of that. We thank you for your support and smiles trough these 10 years and we will keep delivering our best for many years to come. What's up tribe? We'd like to bring you our 29th #TOTEMIX radio show. Ojay Ruger (Rocco Ciarmoli), is an emerging Italian producer. Born in Benevento, a city near Naples on July 20th 1993. At the age of 11, his family moved to northern Italy and began to get passionate about it already in adolescence to the various genres of electronic music. Having the opportunity to attend clubs and parties during his lifetime, he got closer and closer to techno music, to try his hand at djing and falling madly in love until he became a producer only in 2016. By the produce of “Oiran Music”, she released her first EP “Tokyo Disco Beat” from 7Stars Music (Amsterdam) on February 2014. She was born in Iwate prefecture and started her music career by playing Violin at the age of 3. However, once she discovered a world of Rock in the school days, she formed a mixture rock and punk band and played bass-guitar. She did not take time to choose her career; she entered one of a top art college in Tokyo, Nihon University College of Art, and majored Music and studied Music Information, Acoustics, Recordings, and Media-Art. She researched her own surround sound system which differs from the standard but uses eight speakers at once. Since rave culture attracted Sakiko’s interest when she was 20, she has approached music using various inspirations from wide range of un-musical sources. She entered one of the top visual production company and acquired knowledge and skill of projection mapping, visual directing, and interactive broadcast system. Her interest expands to fashion as well, she wears “Triangle” motif clothing and accessories and expands her creativity in music. Sakiko played her live set at “Shibuya Oiran”, one of the famous warm-up bar in Shibuya and met with a DJ, lyricist, and producer of Shibuya Oiran, Venus Kawamura Yuki and scouted to play at her dance music specialized internet radio “block FM”, which is considered as a BBC radio1 in Japan. Sakiko’s thrilling and solid character has become one of the essences of new Japanese beauty and her one-of-a-kind sound is considered as the future for the next generation. In the beginning of 2014, provided the original track called "Hype" to compilation work named "Rising Japan VV.AA." on Mona Records in Spain. On August of the year, joined as remixer to "Gandharva EP" which Apsara, who is active on a global scale based in Indonesia, was out on Plus Records which has been run by Shin Nishimura, who is Japanese well-know techno DJ/producer. And the original track "Kingdom" was out on Baroque Records in UK. They have been played by world-wide top DJs, such as Beroshima, Dave Seaman, Steve Parry, The Japanese Popstars, Samuel L Session, Stelios Vassiloudis. In the beginning of 2015, the original track "Stand Apart" was out on Suffused Music in Lithuania. As the latest work, remixed "Acid Funk Town" that is original track of Shin Nishimura. The releases of their works are going to be out from various music labels in the future. Definitely, Basara-ZA is one of the hottest partnership towards the world from Japan.
