A Podcast by Scarlett Vespa for the 'Conscious' Entrepreneur - Because Success is an inside job!
What Aussie sensation talks periods with such confidence and passion? Monica Yates, period and life coach now living in NYC getting young women to connect with themselves in profound ways. At the age of 22 she has conquered big health issues by healing herself and now giving workshops globally that involve a lot of screaming I’m told. I love speaking with this candid young conscious entrepreneur, refreshing to see her fearless and authentic attitude in what is she doing. Now taking on the health and wellbeing of men, we talked about it all and why men and women are NOT the same. Enjoy! If you would like to know more about Monica and her workshops, visit: https://monicayates.com.au/ You can meet Scarlett by signing up to her private FB group: The Conscious Entrepreneurs

I want to talk about the people that suffer bad days, moments, like a fog that comes and feels too heavy to move. Everything feels like an effort, getting out of bed is a feat and getting distracted helps to keep going. Some days it sneaks up unexpectedly and movement seems like an impossibility, even though it’s really the one that that will help but the hardest step to take. So, this post is really talking to the person that has bad days, enough where you have asked the question? Do I suffer from depression? Read more at https://www.mrsvblog.com/why-everyone-gets-depressed-how-to-find-relief/
I believe that the heart is the centre of everything in our lives, and I think it's important to be present to understand the impact that it has. I believe that the mind and the soul sit in the heart. The mental thoughts are very much in the head, but the mind and the consciousness and the soul if you want to call it sits in your heart area, and often when you're so very stressed or you can't think and you have this swirling head happening, I say to people to really drop those thoughts into your heart area because it’s a great tool to discern the real problem or what you need to listen to because sometimes our worries are actually valid. As my singing teacher reminded me that sometimes it is a message and you have to tune into what you're being told. Read more: www.mrsvblog.com/how-to-open-your-heart-to-abundance/
Last thing you want to hear is that having challenges is a good thing. Especially, when you’re right in the middle of it. It does make sense though when I think about it, if everything was super easy, then you couldn’t feel a sense of reward or satisfaction when you achieve something. I studied a lot during my time as a practicing Buddhist on the nature of suffering. In Buddhism, suffering is very much part of being a human being. Buddhists believe that it’s part of being human, we come into this world through suffering in birth and we die suffering. The idea is that when you make friends with suffering and stop resisting or fighting it, you can let go of your need to change and fix the suffering and by accepting it, you won’t suffer from suffering – by my observation. Body love – do you have it? If you are reading this post, then perhaps the title touched a part of you that knows you DON’T love your body enough or sadly perhaps at all. Remarkably this is a huge for a lot of women and men today. “Low self-esteem is a thinking disorder in which an individual view him/herself as inadequate, unlovable, and/or incompetent. Once formed, this negative view permeates every thought, producing faulty assumptions and ongoing self-defeating behaviour.” Says Neumann MD report 2014. With these attitudes starting so young, no wonder it’s so hard to shake as we become adults and constantly reflect and build solid belief systems around them. My continued obsession with ‘A Star is Born’ and Bradga (Bradley and Gaga) has been so much fun. I have soaked up her incredible talent, that aching vulnerability, her dedication to her craft and her ‘never giving up’ attitude. I have a new-found respect for her (prior to the Oscar) and excited for her to win one. One of the first things she said when she received her Oscar was ‘I worked hard for this’ and she has. I love her consistent grounded approach to her work and amazed at her transformation from... (Read more at Blog) and of course listen to Podcast! I know most artists don't even want to call themselves artists because of the imposter or inner critic popping up, but here I want to assure you that YOU are an artist and I know why. I got so excited when I discovered that I was an artist because the pressure release was huge, I suddenly had the freedom to be myself and not worry about what others thought. I have created a podcast about the 3 reasons why you are one and also popped them below. Of course the podcast has more details, so take a listen - I also recite my poem on 'Making friend with the Inner Critic'... 1 Do ONE thing everyday. Tricha needed to set a new neural pathway to head towards her goal, so she is going to do ONE thing everyday, no matter how small that is heading in the direction of her vision. 2 Have your DOUBTS and keep going. I think most of us have doubts about what to do next or feeling unsure or unsafe about our decisions, the key is to become the observer of them, see the belief and then keep going. They don’t mean anything, they are just a thought. 3 Don’t overthink – FEEL. Being in our head too much can drive us mad – literally! When those decisions swirl around, funnel all of them into your heart and see what settles. It’s a wonderful test. Then say 3 ideas that you settle with, process them, see when you unpack them what feels right and doesn’t. Don’t choose something that needs FIXING, choose that easy – feels good place. If you don’t feel really happy about any, then keep ALLOWING more to come. love + sparkle Scarlett
Lately I realised as the number of suicides have grown and challenges increase, I wanted to share my own experience of the impact of hiding the struggles and what you must do to avoid doing that for your own health.

I've made this up of the 7 tools I can't do without and wanted to share those with you! I've created it in a podcast format so you can listen anywhere as THIS information will change how you live your brand. See summary below, see more about Mrs V at www.mrsv.com.au The 7 Tools for Your 'Brand Kit': One | Your Key Words (Know your brand) Your key words are a great end point to find out IF you have a defined brand, in other words you have clarity around your message/values proposition. Two | Social Media Social Media is not a 'maybe I'll do it', it's a MUST do it. What greater way than to stay engaged, updated on new technology and business climate, real time feedback and free advertising. Develop branded content, be consistent. Three | Ted Talks Ted Talks are a wonderful way to get inspiration and innovate thinking, it's also a wonderful format to think about what YOU would do if you did one. What would be the message you'd like to share? Craft it, write it and practice delivering it, it's a wonderful exercise to do which I give to me clients. Four | Writing Writing opens the mind, releases blocks and helps give you insights into yourself. I advise to use a pen and paper, not the computer, there is something about the action of writing that brings forth greater truths. Five | A Strategy for your Health + Wellbeing Health + Wellbeing must be integrated into your business life, if that is not working, nothing else will be. Find what resonates with you, what shifts your mind into a more positive state. Mine is walking, yoga and eating healthily. Find your OWN tool, don't follow others, it's important you know your own body and what works. Six | Self Reflection Time out to reflect on what is happening in your life will keep you tuned into your intuition, your plan and your own body and mind. I use meditation, personal development through courses, books, videos, anything to keep me learning. Affirmations is a wonderful way of creating a neurological hack to negative thinking. I am xxxx because is a great way to stay saying things that make you feel GOOD not bad. (Hence why I created my #iam Affirmation Cards to practice making the neurological connections). Seven | Networking As we draw back into online life, hiding from the world, it's very easy to become less confident and alone. Networking with your community is so important for humans, we need the conversation to see that we are not alone, everyone has similar problems and you may even gain support or a new client! When I started doing my Workshops, I realised that just the bringing together of like-minded people created a network and an opening on a whole other level.
