Why you should listenTrevor reveals how Myko solves the age-old problem of sales reps not entering data into Salesforce by using voice technology to eliminate the 53-click process down to 15 secondsLearn how poor CRM data entry is blocking your AI initiatives and downstream analytics, and discover a practical solution that integrates seamlessly with existing workflowsGain insights into the future of voice-first technology in sales and how early adopters are leveraging this to dramatically improve rep ramp time and territory handoffsAs a Salesforce partner, you know the challenge of implementing CRM systems that don't fit into the natural flow of how sales reps actually work. Your clients struggle with data gaps that prevent meaningful reporting, AI initiatives get stalled because there's insufficient data to analyze, and you're constantly looking for solutions that bridge the gap between CRM capabilities and real-world sales activities. I've experienced this firsthand - watching robust Salesforce implementations underperform because the data entry process doesn't align with how field reps actually spend their time.In this episode, I talk with Trevor Lee from Myko who has built a voice-first solution that finally addresses this fundamental workflow challenge. We discuss how his tool transforms the complex 53-click mobile process into a simple 15-second voice interaction that fits naturally into a rep's day, why this breakthrough is critical for AI initiatives, and how partners can leverage this technology to unlock previously impossible downstream projects for their clients.About Trevor Lee Trevor is the Cofounder and CEO of Myko - the language interface for teams to interact with Salesforce. Trevor started his career in finance and met his cofounder and Zheng at business school. The two of them worked together on a financial modeling solution Genius Sheets that they eventually sold. China's Zheng Qinwen claimed a straight-sets victory over top seed Aryna Sabalenka in the quarterfinals of the WTA Italian Open on Wednesday, reaching the semifinals of a WTA 1000 event for the third time in her career. The two players had met six times previously, with Sabalenka winning on each occasion. This match marked their first encounter on clay. In the opening set, both players held serve through the first three games, with Sabalenka leading 2-1. In the fourth game, Zheng saved two break points to hold, and then won four consecutive points in the fifth game to score a crucial break. Over the next four games, both players held serve, leaving Zheng ahead 5-4. In the 10th game, Zheng fired down two aces and took the set 6-4. In the second set, Zheng carried her momentum forward, breaking serve in the first game and then reeling off four straight points to take the second game. The following four games saw both players hold, with Zheng maintaining a 4-2 lead. Sabalenka saved four break points in the seventh game to narrow the gap, but Zheng stayed strong, holding serve and then breaking again to close out the match 6-3, reaching the semifinals in Rome for the first time. Finally, I broke through! I've always known I have the ability to beat anyone, and I'm really happy that I truly did it today," said Zheng after the match.“终于突破了!我一直相信自己具备战胜任何选手的能力,今天真正做到了这一点,真的非常开心。”郑钦文在赛后发布会上说道。Zheng gave herself a score of 7.5 for her performance. "I think I did well at the start, and I told myself I couldn't lose those opening games so easily like before. When the match enters a tighter phase, I feel it's more to my advantage, because actually, I'm better than her at playing long rallies. When the match goes into a three or four-shot exchange, statistically, I have the edge," Zheng reflected. In this match, Zheng's first-serve points won percentage reached a remarkable 82 percent, which became a decisive factor in her victory. "Today, one thing I did really well was that my first serve was there in the crucial moments, and I also controlled my unforced errors very well," she said. When I played against her before, maybe because she had the title of world number one and a Grand Slam champion, and also because when I was a teenager, I used to watch her play, so I couldn't properly read the situation," Zheng said. "In the first three matches against her, I felt really frustrated, because I only showed about 30 or 40 percent of my ability. When I stripped away the aura around her, I was able to see the match situation clearly and focus on attacking her weaknesses instead of trying to go head-to-head with her strengths."“此前与她交手时,或许因为她顶着世界第一和大满贯冠军的头衔,再加上我年少时曾观看过她的比赛,导致我无法正确判断形势,”郑解释道。“前三次交锋中我感到非常沮丧,因为自己只发挥了三四成实力。当我剥离她身上的光环后,就能清晰阅读比赛局势,专注于攻击其弱点而非与强项硬碰硬。”In the semifinals, Zheng will face fourth seed Coco Gauff.

If you're a founder doing at least $3M/year in sales, check out Hampton: https://www.joinhampton.com/.There is no amount of money that will make you happy. There is also no amount that will stop making you more happy. Both of those things are true. Our producer is not rich. But she has talked to 100+ people who are, and she (I) has learned a lot about your kind (is that wrong to say?).In the Moneywise pilot, we asked the question “at what point will more money stop making you happy”. Turns out, that was a pretty stupid question. So in this episode, we're fixing that. This is an episode of Moneywise unlike any other. This is a solo essay-style inside-outsider's take on wealth and happiness, based on the past year of peaking behind the curtain at what truly makes millionaires lives better… and worse. Backed up by quotes from our guests and of course, real studies. Here's what we talk about:Money doesn't make you happy. It can only remove stress. The “happiness number” is a myth but knowing your “freedom number” changes everything. Most people don't want money, they want the freedom they think money will give them.Hitting your financial goal won't feel like you imagined.Founders often feel lost post-exit because they unknowingly traded hope for cash.Wealth adds new stress.Money can't buy you meaningful experiences, and you need to stop thinking it can.If you expect money to do the emotional heavy lifting in your life, you will never be satisfied.Money is the key, not the door. It unlocks your potential but it won't add anything more to your life.Cool Links:Hampton https://www.joinhampton.com/Lower Street https://www.lowerstreet.co/Chapters:(00:00) Introduction and Confession(00:35) Reflecting on 50 Episodes(02:24) Revisiting the Happiness Threshold(03:09) Money as a Subtractive Tool(03:48) The Freedom Number vs. Happiness(05:07) Studies and Research on Wealth and Happiness(14:39) The Hedonic Treadmill and Wealth's Paradox(17:45) Hope and the Entrepreneur's Journey(25:26) Concluding Thoughts and Freedom NumbersThis podcast is a ridiculous concept: high-net-worth people reveal their personal finances.Inspired by real conversations happening in the Hampton community. You Host - Jackie LamportNot really the host, but the producer.Wrote this sentence.Older than I appear, I promise.References:Kahneman, D., & Deaton, A. OneHaas is pleased to welcome Yael Zheng, class of 1992, who is a seasoned marketing executive with two decades of experience in the tech industry. She's served as the Chief Marketing Officer for companies like Bill.com and VMware, and has sat on seven different boards including MeridianLink and UC Berkeley's Sutardja Center for Entrepreneurship and Technology.Yael moved to the U.S. from China when she was a teenager and found herself drawn to the world of engineering. After getting an undergraduate degree at MIT, she felt like her true calling was elsewhere and decided that business school was the best way to find it. Yael chats with host Sean Li about finding her passion for marketing at Haas, her family's experience emigrating from China after the Cultural Revolution, and some of the top lessons she's gained from serving as a Chief Marketing Officer and now a board member. *OneHaas Alumni Podcast is a production of Haas School of Business and is produced by University FM.*Episode Quotes:On coming to the U.S. from China in 1981“ When I came to this country, I went to New Jersey and was finishing up the last few years of high school. And it was such a completely weird experience. Eyeopening would be an understatement. And I remember going to a local supermarket and finding the shelves just full of stuff like everything was stocked with stuff, and I was telling my sister like, oh my gosh how could there be so much stuff in the store? You know, of course, I came from a country back then, stuff was still kind of scarce.”On the misconceptions of what a Chief Marketing Officer does“ It's not about just taking a product and then, you know, go put out a website and some blogs and whatever, some market advertising. I mean, that's kind of the tactic. [But] far more important and far more interesting is to really figure out, behind all the tactics, [the product market fit i.e. what customer problems need to be solved and how big and how pressing,] what strategy you need to adopt, how you price it, how you package it.”On the importance of doing your homework on a company before working there“ I've known people who kind of feel like, oh, you know, you seem to have got pretty lucky with several companies that have really gone somewhere. I think luck is definitely a big part of it. But I think like anything, as we all know, you improve your luck or increase your luck by really doing your homework ahead of time, right? You try to see, okay, this company is really trying to attack a problem that's really big. A lot of customers, right? A lot of businesses feel the potential pain. And so there's a really potentially big opportunity to try to solve that problem.”On being a board member vs. an operational executive “ I think that we are constantly reminded as board directors that it's not our job to actually run the company. That's the job of the leadership team, the management team. We're supposed to provide oversight and governance. So having been an operator for many years, you know, I have to constantly remind myself nose in and then fingers off. So it's our job to ask questions and ask good questions to help the management team to make sure that they have the right strategy in place and that they're executing effectively.”Show Links:LinkedIn ProfileYael's recommendation – HubSpot blogSupport this podcast at — https://redcircle.com/onehaas/donations

China has become the third country in the world capable of delivering quantum computers, after Canada and the United States, positioning China in the global first tier of quantum research. But challenges remain in some areas," Guo said." He stressed the need for increased investment in basic research and advocated leveraging China's unique advantages in mobilizing resources to tackle core technological challenges.他强调了增加基础研究投入的必要性,并主张发挥中国在调动资源应对核心技术挑战方面的独特优势。China's research and development spending climbed to 3.6 trillion yuan ($497 billion) in 2024, an 8 percent year-on-year increase, according to the National Bureau of Statistics. Next week we'll kick off Season Five of Formosa Files! A huge thank you to the Frank C. Chen Foundation for its continued support of the program; without it, this podcast would not exist. In S4 we talked a lot about the 1624-2024 anniversary of the arrival of the Dutch, the new historical novel “A Tale of Three Tribes in Dutch Formosa,” and other Dutch-in-Taiwan-related things, and today we're staying on the topic with a short, informal chat about Koxinga's father. We'll cover his incredible story in future episodes, but this is his basic bio, a simple telling of his epic win at the Battle of Liaoluo Bay, and a few hints about his unhappy end.THANK YOU FOR LISTENING! And thanks for following us on social media, for the wonderful reviews and emails filled with high praise… all very much appreciated. In Season Five we're going to turn it up with big names like CKS (maybe Mao as well!), plus historic milestones such as the 2000 Presidential Election (and maybe the 2004 Chen Shui-bian shooting as well!).Catch you next week!
