Our resident host Grace Sanders caught up with US voice actress EMMA BERMAN to discuss her journey with Disney and Pixar's LUCA, and new role in Star Wards series Young Jedi Adventures! Set 200 years before “The Phantom Menace,” during the High Republic era, the animated series follows Jedi younglings as they study the ways of the Force, explore the galaxy, help citizens and creatures in need and learn valuable skills needed to become Jedi along the way. Star Wars: Young Jedi Adventures releases May 4, 2023 on Disney+ and Disney Junior (where available). She is also currently voicing Ginny on the Disney Jr. Series Superkitties! Fans may recognize Emma's unique and adorable voice from the Disney and Pixar's feature film “Luca.” Emma lent her voice to one of the leads ‘Giulia,' the friend of ‘Luca,' voiced by Jacob Tremblay, and ‘Alberto,' voiced by Jack Dylan Grazer. Set in a beautiful seaside town on the Italian Riviera, “Luca” is a coming-of-age story about one young boy experiencing an unforgettable summer filled with gelato, pasta and endless scooter rides. Luca shares these adventures with his newfound best friend, but all the fun is threatened by a deeply-held secret: they are sea monsters from another world just below the water's surface. MORE ABOUT EMMA Currently residing in San Francisco, the seventh grader is active in the professional theater scene in the Bay Area. Most recently, she has played ‘Baby June' in Bay Area Musicals' production of “Gypsy” and received rave reviews for her performance including one critic saying, “Berman shows the benefit of wide experience for such a young actress, and might well be described as a prodigy” and another stating “Emma Berman as the crackerjack younger June who might even steal this show.” She also played ‘Ivanka' in 42nd Street Moon's production of “Once,” which won Best Musical of the Year by Bay Area Theater Awards and was part of the American Conservatory Theater's production of “A Christmas Carol” for two years. As a young performer dedicated to her craft, Emma studies on an ongoing basis with acting coach Melinda Darlington Bach and dialects coach Bettina Devin on her British and Italian accents, but the actress also speaks fluent Russian as she grew up in a bilingual household. Additionally, Emma has trained in New York with A Class Act and Broadway Artists Alliance. Outside of acting, Emma continues to live a fast-paced life, always keeping busy. She loves to draw, bake and race go karts with her older brother and has been a regular at Sonoma Raceway last few years. In college, Emma wants to study to become a storyboard artist and director and hopes to one day work at Pixar. She is also a huge fan of the app Calm and would love to read books on tape for them like two of her favorite actors, Mandy Moore and Kate Winslet.
The focus of our session today is the attribute for which Solomon will most often be recalled: his wisdom. The narrative tells us that, in a dream, God asked Solomon what he wanted. Solomon could have requested riches, or a long life, or to have his enemies vanquished, or any number of other goodies. But Solomon instead requested the wisdom to rule the people of his kingdom. And we learn about the first time his wisdom is put to the test! The text of this podcast is available on our blog.If you like this podcast, you might enjoy the book Biblical Origins: The Political Intent of the Bible's Writers, by renowned Bible scholar Dr. S. It took four years after "Baby June" was found floating in the Boynton Beach inlet for PBSO to make an arrest. Courtney Clenney finds out her boyfriend is dead. Also, a Florida sheriff gives his community a big Christmas gift.
April and I talk Mother Rose. She was a pushy broad and they truly lived a gypsy lifestyle. Baby June who later became Dainty June ran away with a boy from the troupe at 13, we are not sure of real age. Mama June may have been involved in two murders, and definitely one attempted murder on Junes boy husband..Luckily the gun jammed..and there were no bullets or he would have been a goner. Very interesting lives these three women had, thanks to their tough tomato Mama. Our finale ends with Natalie Woods stage mom. Thank you Deborah. We have had a great time doing this series. Thanks so much for suggesting it. You are the best!! Thank you to my series partner in crime April VeVea. I love you toots!! www.classicblondes.com Most of all thanks to my listeners. Delphi Newman - Baby June, Jim Jiminee, The Box Brothers and Vital Disorder - in conversation with David Eastaugh Jim Jiminee hailed from Fleet in Hampshire, comprising Kevin Jamieson (lead singer/guitar), Peter Dyes (lead guitar), Delphi Newman (keyboards), Nick Hannan (bass), and Lindsay Jamieson (drums). Another notable ex-member was Harriet Wheeler from The Sundays who had sung in an early incarnation of the band called Cruel Shoes. Jim Jiminee sounded like the best of Mod-style indie-pop combined with surprising elements of skiffle and subtle jazz, Kevin sang about relationships as tragicomedy, life on the dole; semi-routes to small town madness. Their first EP Do It On Thursday, released in 1987, is an indie classic, when indie actually meant independent. It was, rightfully, a top 20 indie hit, featuring four life-affirming songs; the type that made you want to throw your best hat in the air, kiss your dearest friend, throw yourself into your neighbour's goldfish pool, that sort of thing. They were all suffused with natural energy bursting life; they made signing on the dole sound like the finest thing you could do.

I had the pleasure of talking to actress Lane Bradbury. She was such a delight. We talked her move to New York, her beginning at The Actors Studio, learning "the method". She saw Marilyn Monroe there once. Lane was in the original Gypsy with Ethel Merman playing Baby June, also was in the Original Night Of The Iguana with Bette Davis playing Charlotte, Lane them moved to California and never stopped working. I remember her as the only girl that did not fall for Keith Partridge. She had not much to say about that. Then she did an incredible supporting role in Alice Doesn't Live Here Anymore, as the troubled wife married to a cheating Harvey Keitel. Lane said she and Ellen weren't acting in that scene. Harvey terrified them. Lane worked as a regular in the series In The Heat Of The Night and so many other shows. She is still working today. She did a TV movie with Sally Field and they had a grand time. It was the hippy era and a groovy movie called "Maybe I'll Come Home In The Spring" Lane is a dynamo, still taking dance classes in the city and going to the Actors Studio, which coincidentally Ellen Burstyn is the big cheese there. Lots of great scoops from Lane. I want to thank my friend John O'Dowd for getting Lane as a guest for me.Thanks so much to Lane Bradbury for being an adorable and interesting guest. On Friday, June 1st, 2018, the body of an infant baby girl is found floating in the ocean of Palm Beach County. Follow us as we sit down with detectives on the quest to figure out who is Baby June and who is responsible for her death.
En el podcast hemos utilizado el CD con la versión de 2008 en Broadway porque es el más completo de todos los editados hasta la fecha, incluyendo temas descartados y alternativos y que cuenta con: Patti LuPone (Rose) Laura Benanti (Louise) Boyd Gaines (Herbie) Leigh Ann Larkin (June) Nancy Opel (Mazeppa) Marilyn Caskey (Electra) Alison Fraser (Tessie Tura) Espero os guste 00h 00'00" Presentación 00h 03'04" Cabecera 00h 04'00" Inicio 00h 04'26" Overture 00h 10'46" May we entertain you 00h 13'04" Some people 00h 16'25" Seattle to Los Angeles 00h 19'03" Small world / Momma's talkin' soft 00h 24'22" Baby June and her newboys /Let me entertain you 00h 27'30" Have an eggroll, Mr. Goldstone 00h 30'31" Little lamb 00h 33"55" You'll never get away from me 00h 37'10" Dainty June and her farmboys / Broadway 00h 43'53" If momma was married 00h 47'33" All I need is the girl 00h 53'41" Everything comes up roses 00h 56'43" Smile, girls 00h 59'49" Madame Rose's toreadorables 01h 01'52" Together, wherever you go 01h 06'29" You gotta get a gimmick 01h 12'19" Who needs him 01h 14'10" The strip 01h 22'59" Rose's turn 01h 28'00" Act 2 Finale 01h 30'52" Exit music 01h 34'21" Curiosidades 01h 36'41" Nice she ain't 01h 38'44" Tomorrow's mother's day 01h 40'01" Mother's day 01h 41'26" Three whishes for Christmas 01h 43'32" Conclusiones También os remito a los otros artículos publicados en esta web que pudieran ser interesantes y completarían lo comentado en el podcast con fotos o videos GYPSY, el musical JULE STYNE, músico STEPHEN SONDHEIM, músico y letrista

An episode where it's just Kyle! We explore many of the different "trunk songs" and a couple of the cut songs from Gypsy. This is an evolution from the Great American Songbook, which Jule Styne would have been greatly familiar with. Plus, you'll learn how Jule and Kyle share a special connection.
Seth and I follow-up last week’s bonus Miscarriage episode and share our own miscarriage story, we cover the unexpected feelings that can accompany loss, Seth shares what he wishes he had done during that time as a father and husband to help both of us get through it better, and I share a lullaby that I wrote for our Baby June.
"Let us... entertain you..." In this episode, Teddy is joined by his Mama Rose, Tony-nominated writer Cheri Steinkellner, and his Baby June, little sister Emma, as they rank the top ten Broadway musicals ever belted, from "Sweeney" to "Seussical." Along the way, they share some personal anecdotes, such as the night Young Emma upstaged Gigi Hadid in "Little Shop of Horrors" (much to Yolanda Foster's chagrin), or the time Young Cheri closed her eyes while listening to an LP of "The Pajama Game" and imagined that she had friends. To paraphrase Daddy Warbucks' entire household staff, "We know you're gonna like *this episode*............. welcome!"
The King and Queen of all pet related entertainment bring you two great guests this week on the #1 rated pet radio show, Pets Teach Us So Much. Olivia Barash began her work in the entertainment industry at the young age of five years old. During her early years of acting, singing and dancing in classic musicals on stage in New York, Olivia starred as “Baby June” in Gypsy with Angela Lansbury. She was the first child actor to win the acclaimed New York Critics Award. Moving to Hollywood to expand her acting experience, Olivia’s career took on a new turn in television and feature films. One of her most memorable roles, the controversial character “Sylvia” in Little House On The Prairie, propelled her to receive consideration for an Emmy Award nomination. That led to the female lead role of “Leila” in the cult film classic, Repo Man. Olivia was then written into the hit T.V. series, Fame. Evolving as an indie film actor, she worked with a range of Hollywood greats including Robert Downey, Jr. and Johnny Depp. Crossing over into a recording career, as a signed composer/ recording-artist with Warner Chappell Music, Barash performed her original music for motion pictures such as Oliver Stone’s The Doors. Bringing together her diverse experience and talents to the other side of the camera, in 2013 Barash began directing, writing and producing with Fallout Entertainment. She has directed music videos for bands such as Fishbone, and her documentary feature film, Friends Of The Viper Room. Olivia has been in production on BarkvilleTV for the last year with her new production company, Original Pixel Cowboys. Also, from the The Suncoast Humane Society, Eva Edukonis and Jorge Villada with special guest pup, Hunter. (We are happy to report, since the taping of the show, Hunter has found a forever home!)
Kelvin and Laura May Chan are having a baby! According to Kelvin, "when two people love each other, and __________________, then the #Burmese fairy comes and delivers the baby!" I'm not sure which web site he learned his birds and bees from but I think Laura will let him know if the fairy is any help during the delivery. Due in about 4 weeks, this is the Chan's first baby and they've returned from #Thailand to Canada to make her a Canuck! While at #Segue2016, the Chans agreed to chat with me about all things baby: how she was made, when they found out she was a she, interesting Thai and Burmese cultural pregnancy observations, their uncertainty about juggling life with a newborn and ministry, and how they ensured they wouldn't have #stateless grandchildren. As former #midtermers, they might just be 3 of my favourite people.
Harvey Brownstone conducts an in-depth Interview with Movie & TV Star, Morgan Brittany, Dallas' “Katherine Wentworth”About Harvey's guest:Today's guest, Morgan Brittany, is a highly popular actress, author and political commentator who first won our hearts as a child star in the role of “Baby June”, Natalie Wood's sister, in the classic 1962 movie "Gypsy". She was also one of the schoolgirls in the classic Alfred Hitchcock film, “The Birds”. And a few years later, she played one of the kids in the blended family parented by Henry Fonda and Lucille Ball in another classic movie, “Yours, Mine & Ours”. As a child, she also appeared in “Gunsmoke”, “The Twilight Zone”, “Daniel Boone”, “Lassie”, “Dr. Kildare”, “The Andy Griffith Show”, “My 3 Sons”, and dozens of other iconic TV shows. And as an adult, she's had an even more spectacular career. She's perhaps best known for her portrayal of the beautiful and conniving “Katherine Wentworth” on the super-popular primetime drama series, "Dallas". And of course, we also remember her as the ambitious magazine writer “Kate Simpson” on “Glitter”, and she's also appeared in many other great TV shows and movies including “The Amazing Howard Hughes”, “The Initiation of Sarah”, “In Search of Historic Jesus”, “The Dream Merchants”, “Mothers and Daughters”, “Legend of the Spirit Dog” and “LBJ: The Early Years”, for which she won a Peabody Award. And get this: she's the only actress to have portrayed the legendary Vivien Leigh THREE TIMES – first in 1975 in the classic film, “The Day of the Locust”, then the following year in the feature film "Gable and Lombard", and then in 1980 in the TV movie "The Scarlett O'Hara War". Our guest has also been a highly sought-after political commentator as part of a series called “Politichicks”, and she's co-authored 2 bestselling books, "What Women Really Want", and "PolitiChicks: A Clarion Call to Political Activism", which features a compelling collection of essays from many of the writers and activists featured on the PolitiChicks.com website.
