The critically acclaimed second season of the Star Wars saga, "Andor" tells the backstory of the forming of the Rebel Alliance. Created by Tony Gilroy, it stars Stellan Skarsgard as the duplicitous rebel leader. Both Gilroy and Skarsgard discuss the show.
You may be familiar with how Rogue One ends. But do you know how ANDOR began? The critically acclaimed Star Wars series almost didn't happen. The goal of ANDOR was to detail Cassian Andor's journey from a child of war to a self-focused mercenary to a selfless hero of the early rebellion. And like the rebels taking down the Death Star, the story behind bringing this one-in-a-million drama to the small screen is just as wild, and just as compelling. Join host David Quinn as he explores the making of the monumental first season, and how showrunner Tony Gilroy transformed it into one of the greatest Star Wars stories ever told. This is, in the words of Gilroy, “always protein, never icing.” And this is Star Wars: Prototypes and Production! *This episode focuses on the events leading up to the series' release in 2022, and does not contain any spoilers from seasons one and two. Star Wars: The Acolyte ended a few weeks ago, and even now I'm still trying to digest the heavy subject matter presented in the show. Our next series from that galaxy far, far away is the upcoming Skeleton Crew, which is described as a throwback adventure series in the tradition of 1980s classics such as "E.T." and "The Goonies". When four young kids in the time of The Mandalorian get lost somewhere in the galaxy, they have to use their wits to navigate their way back home. Join me as we discuss the possibilities this new story might bring!

In hour 2 of Wiggins America, Ryan discusses how Disney continues to ruin Star Wars and talks about his biggest issues with the political agenda push in the newest series, "Acolyte". Ryan is then joined by Jake Lang, a political prisoner from January 6th LIVE from prison. He discusses his story, how he has still not had a trial despite being in prison for over three years, and his upcoming time in solitary confinement.

Disney is claiming The Acolyte got an insane number of views on Disney Plus on its first day, despite the poor audience reception and middling interest. Is it true? Hey everyone, the series premiere (first two episodes) of the latest Star Wars series ‘The Acolyte' has dropped on Disney+. Prior to seeing how these shows eventually turned out, this was one of my more anticipated projects from Disney Star Wars but shows like The Book of Boba Fett and Obi-Wan Kenobi have killed most of my enthusiasm for this franchise. The trailers themselves also fell very flat. So, does The Acolyte continue the downward spiral of these Star Wars shows or will it inject new life into this fizzling saga? Find out in this SPOILER-FREE review of the first two episodes!
