Animal Kingdom was meant to be a kingdom of more than just real-world creatures—it was supposed to be a land of legends, where dragons soared, unicorns roamed, and myths came to life. But somewhere along the way, those grand plans disappeared. This week, we're diving into the lost dreams of Beastly Kingdom and the mythical creatures that never got their moment in the spotlight. But we're not just reminiscing—we've taken inspiration from those untold tales and are testing a bold, new idea that just might bring one of those legendary creatures to life in a way you've never imagined. To see if our latest concept could resonate with a broader audience, we brought in our friend Mike—a true non-Disney adult. His fresh perspective will help us figure out if we're onto something that could captivate not just Disney fans, but everyone.Could a unicorn experience be the next big thing in Disney storytelling? You'll have to listen in to see if we're on the right track—because we're ready to make some magic. Send us a textSupport the showDon't forget to check us out on Instagram and our website!

Listener beware! You're in for a scare! Or at least a semi-heartbreaking trip down Imagineering's memory lane which includes some of the best attractions designed that never came to fruition! In this first part of what may turn into a multi-part series, we discuss WESTCOT CENTER at Disneyland Resort, Beastly Kingdom at Animal Kingdom, Disneyland's Enchanted Snow Palace, and Magic Kingdom's Western River Expedition! The greatest take-away from this episode is probably that Marc Davis is not only one of the most prolific Disney Cast Members to have ever been, but also the one that got the shaft the most in terms of amazing attraction designs that were shelved. At least in this episode, he really gets the Imagineering version of the short straw! As you listen along, check out these highlights from our recaps! Here's a ton of photos of the plan for WESTCOT Center thanks to Yesterland.com: Beastly Kingdom has some GREAT video content which can be seen here: While you're here, be sure to give Beastly The Unicorn a follow! Next stop is the Enchanted Snow Palace! Check out this amazing Marc Davis art courtesy of D23! And finally, thanks for Passport2Dreams, we are able to take a peek at some of the great work Marc Davis did for Western River Expedition along with Robert's personal photos from D23 when they had the model on display! WDW Radio # 481 - Beastly Kingdom - The Walt Disney World That Never Was Long before anyone ever dreamed of Pandora: The World of Avatar, or even Camp Minnie-Mickey at Disney’s Animal Kingdom, original plans for Walt Disney World’s fourth theme park included an exciting, radical, new concept. This kingdom of animals was going to include not only those that were real, but once that were ancient and imagined... a kingdom to be ruled by lions, dinosaurs and dragons. This week, we will turn back the clock on our Wayback Machine and explore the land that never came to be - Beastly Kingdom. We discuss how and why this land of mythical beasts got on the drawing board, virtually tour the attractions and environments, look at why it never came to be, why we’ll likely never see it at all, and where you can still find remnants of it in the park today. Jambeaux, everyone!!! Welcome to another episode of the Magic Our Way podcast. We are 21 shows old today and we are feeling very adult!!! We have a great show for you today as we explore another aspect of park life that has never seen the light of day. In this week’s Queue, we once again address several topics which peaked our interest for discussion while waiting in the queue. Disney performs a “Hat trick” at the Rose and Crown Pub in the United Kingdom pavilion in EPCOT Center. The last bastion of Merriweather Adam Pleasure’s vision has finally left the building. You can now recharge and discharge in Fantasyland at the Magic Kingdom. We talk about the lineup of narrators for the 2013 Candlelight Processional. With the coming of new things that one must do, we will soon see a new version of Must-Dos on resort TV starring the lovely, and always perky, Stacy Aswad. And lastly, for those wishing to become part of the magic, we discuss some upcoming auditions taking place soon. In the Hub, we discuss the missing, yet ever referenced, land in Disney’s Animal Kingdom, Beastly Kingdom. This land was supposed to be located where Camp Minnie Mickey is today. Through research we talk about what the land was supposed to look like, what the details of the attractions and restaurants were to be, and the eventual demise of the plans for this remarkable land. We feel that this is a land that could have done really well since its opening and we are sad to know that it might not happen. Maybe in the future, who knows? After all, “if we can dream it, we can do it.”  As always, if you like the show, please rate us and leave a review in the iTunes Store. We do appreciate you taking the time to do so. Also, you can find us on Facebook and follow us on Twitter (@magicourway). Find some of our video statuses on Keek.com. We do want to hear from our fans and we want you to be part of our discussion. Also, check out our slowly growing website at www.qmarkproductions.com. Thanks again for listening to us. We do realize that you have many choices when it comes to Disney podcasts and we appreciate your attention. Attention.
