Un certain Pierre Kerner, alias Taupo, auteur du fabuleux blog Strange Stuff and Funky Things. Dans son interview de l'époque, Pierre avouait avoir un penchant plus ou moins assumé pour les parasites. En parlant de parasites, il ne croyait pas si bien dire... Pierre ne m'a plus lâché depuis. Il a parasité le podcast ainsi que tout l'écosystème de vulgarisation scientifique francophone sur le web, pour ma plus grande joie et la vôtre, chers auditeurs. Et pendant ces 7 années, j'ai eu l'occasion d'assister à une spectaculaire évolution - (j'ai presque envie de dire "co-évolution", mais c'est un truc à se faire taper sur les doigts... Co-évolution en moins d'une génération, pas possible, toussa, toussa) : durant cette période, les parasites de Pierre ont opté pour un endoparasitisme durable ; en bon français : Pierre et ses parasites ont fusionné ! Ce n'était pas toujours facile pour Pierre... Je me souviens l'avoir vu se débattre... "Mais pourquoi m'associe-t-on toujours aux parasites ?" a-t-il même pu demander à une époque. "Je m'intéresse à d'autres choses, vous savez..." Hahaha. C'est ça. Pierre, mon ami... Tu sais bien que le monde n'est pas noir ou blanc, que les frontières sont parfois floues, et que le meilleur des hôtes est parfois aussi le meilleur des parasites :) On a tous, une fois ou l'autre, eu des doutes, voire éprouvé de la honte à l'égard de quelque chose dont on pouvait au contraire être fier. Qui suis-je pour juger... Mais heureusement, avec les années -et la sagesse aidant-, on finit tous par accepter et aimer ce qui nous constitue fondamentalement. Aujourd'hui, Mesdames et Messieurs, Pierre a fait la paix avec ses parasites. On peut carrément parler de rapports mutuellement bénéfiques : ils tirent le meileur les uns des autres. Pierre, en hôte toujours charmant, leur a laissé prendre le contrôle : ils se sont servis de sa plume, de son talent et de sa notoriété pour écrire un livre ! Si si, véridique... Un vrai livre en papier, avec une couverture et des pages, et tout... Plein d'histoires... Et des illustrations de ouf ! Le livre est certes signé Pierre Kerner, mais ce sont bel et bien ces parasites qui le fascinent tant qui l'ont écrit, chapitre après chapitre. L'ouvrage "Moi parasite", de Pierre Kerner (et autres parasitoïdes), sort aujourd'hui chez Belin. Et ça, c'est un événement à ne pas manquer !
