Fundacja Katarzyny Kozyry realizuje program "Przeciw(stawanie)", którego celem jest wspieranie młodych artystek i łączenie mniejszych ośrodki kultury z warszawską sceną artystyczną. Tematem tegorocznego naboru do tego programu było ciało jako narzędzie oporu, komunikacji i obecności. Zgłoszone prace musiały mieć formę wizualną i performatywną. Wyniki prezentowane były na wystawie "Przeciw(stawanie). Pękająca cisza ciałem". Oddech, głos, pot, błoto, cegła, skóra, tkanina – te materiały i substancje stworzyły zmysłową mapę oporu. O wystawie rozmawiamy z artystkami, których prace oglądać można było w listopadzie tego roku w Turnusie na Wolskiej w Warszawie: Magdaleną Babicz, Magdą Buczek, Dobrawą Borkałą, Eweliną Węgiel oraz z Adrianną Kowalik, główną kuratorką i koordynatorką platformy Secondary Archive, powołanej przez Fundację Katarzyny Kozyry przestrzeni prezentacji artystek z regionu Europy Centralnej i Wschodniej, największego zasobu wiedzy o twórczości kobiet w tym regionie. https://secondaryarchive.org Rozmawiała: Bogna Świątkowska, www.nn6t.pl Ilustracja: zdjęcie dokumentujące działania w ramach wystawy "Przeciw(stawanie). Za vse se najde rešitev, je osrednje vodilo Medobčinskega društva slepih in slabovidnih Nova Gorica, ki šteje prek 250 članov in članic. Ena od njih je tudi Anja Uršič, ki prihaja iz Borjane v občini Kobarid. Društvu se je pridružila že v osnovnošolskih letih in je v njem ves čas zelo dejavna. S svojim znanjem, prodornostjo in z odločnostjo veliko pripomore k uspešnemu delovanju društva in njegovi širši prepoznavnosti. Je doktorska študentka sociologije na področju zaposlovanja slepih in slabovidnih ter tudi članica Evropske zveze slepih. Njen optimizem, vztrajnost, široka razgledanost in dobra volja so kljub težavam z vidom naravnost osupljivi. In tudi več kot dovoljšen razlog za povabilo pred radijski mikrofon.

Somaliland je razglasil neodvisnost od Somalije leta 1991, a ga do danes ni priznala še nobena država. Izjemna glasbenica in strastna borka za ohranjanje kulturne identitete Sahra Halgan je prepričana, da bi jo morali priznati. V osemdesetih je v vojni za osamosvojitev Somalilanda kot medicinska sestra s pesmijo spodbujala bojevnike proti diktaturi in si prislužila nadimek Hagan, ki pomeni »borka«. Verskim skrajnežem to ni bilo všeč. Sahra ne bi smela peti, ker je ženska. Borka s pesmijo, se ni ustavila, ko so ji govorili, da je greh, da moški in ženske skupaj plešejo na njeno glasbo in so prekinjali njene koncerte. Prepričana je, da je glasba dobra za ljudi, saj lahko odpira um in prinaša srečo.

At the end of the 90's he started to produce electronic music in different genres. Today, Borka and his gang of different musicians focus mainly on house and breakbeat, although he likes to bring in influences from jazz, funk and world music. His style is characterized by driving beats and basslines with many deep elements and emotional melodies. Borka's first release "Try" was in 2013 on Oliver Koletzki's label "Light My Fire" who received strong support in the scene. Since then he has had numerous releases on labels such as Heideton, der Turnbeutel, trndmsk, theBasement Discos, House Salad and many more. In 2020, Borka and Joe Metzenmacher released their track "Magic Talk" on Sven Väth's label "Cocoon". Es geht also um Literatur, um Kindheitserinnerungen, viel Musik und auch um diese faszinierende Vogelart, die besonders jetzt im Herbst bei uns in Mitteleuropa wunderbar zu beobachten ist. Vielleicht gibt es ja auch bei Euch in der Nähe einen Schlafplatz, an denen man die Gänse derzeit gut beobachten kann.
