1. Chiefs -Will Trent McDuffie change the paradigm for how the NFL views the cornerback position -Do you think George Karlaftis will become a similar, dependable long-term player for the Chiefs as Brandon Graham has been for the Eagles? -What does Skyy Moore bring to the Chiefs WR corps that Marquez Valdes-Scantling and JuJu Smith-Schuster do not? Can you see Moore becoming the #2 target for Patrick Mahomes at some point this season? -Who will make a bigger impact for the Chiefs defense this season: Bryan Cook or Leo Chenal? 2. Broncos -A lot of Broncos fans and FANalysts were lukewarm about the Nik Bonitto selection. What reasons, if any, are there for those people to warm up to Bonitto? -Is Greg Dulcich the ideal tight end for Russell Wilson? -Who is more likely to become a long-term contributor for the Broncos: Damarri Mathis or Eyioma Uwazurike? 3. Chargers -With Zion Johnson now in the fold, how do you see the Chargers starting five on the offensive line looking like come Week 1? -Do you share the view that J.T. Woods can be a similar third-round bargain for the Chargers as Justin Simmons turned out to be for the Broncos? -Do you see Isaiah Spiller making an immediate impact this season and if so, how do you see him and Austin Ekeler splitting the workload at RB? 4. Raiders -Do you see Dylan Parham starting in Week 1? Is his best long term spot at center or guard? -Would you be surprised if Zamir White emerges at the starter at RB for the Raiders at some point this season? 5. Players we didn't mention (either drafted or UDFA) on each AFC West team that Mark sees having long-term NFL careers -Chiefs: Justyn Ross -Broncos: Matt Henningsen -Chargers: Zander Horvath -Raiders: Thayer Munford, Jr. and Matthew Butler

The Chiefs' makeover at wide receiver is among the biggest story lines of the off-season and it's the primary topic on today's SportsBeat KC podcast with beat writers Herbie Teope and Jesse Newell. The Tennesse Titans went 12-5 last season, clinching the one seed in the AFC before losing to the Bengals in the Divisional Round. After trading away star WR AJ Brown to Philadelphia and suffering a couple of losses on the offensive line many NFL fans feel Tennesse will miss the playoffs in 2022. JT Sports gives his thoughts on the Titans current roster and how good are there playoff chances going into the 2022 NFL season. The Dolphins made a lot of moves to improve the offense this off-season. Trading for star WR Tyreek Hill pairing him with fellow wideout Jaylen Waddle couple with singing Cedrick Wilson and star LT Terron Armstead in Free Agency. JT Sports feels the Miami Dolphins have done a phenomenal job building around young QB Tua Tagovailoa and with the hiring of Mike McDaniel this offense could explode this NFL season. Baltimore suffered a lot of injuries last season, especially on the offensive side of the ball. However, the Ravens traded away Marquise Hollywood Brown to Arizona and many fans are skeptical about OC Greg Roman. The Baltimore Ravens do return RBs JK Dobbins and Gus Edwards and Lamar Jackson comes back fully healthy after missing the second half of last season. JT Sports gives his thoughts on how good the Ravens offense will be in 2022. With the departures of WRs Tyreek Hill, Demarcus Robinson, and, Byron Pringle who will step up at WR for the Kansas City Chiefs in 2022? Will Mecole Hardman finally breakout? What about Chiefs Free Agent signings JuJu Smith-Schuster and Marquez Valdes-Scantling? Kansas City also drafted rookie wideout Skyy Moore in the second round of the 2022 NFL Draft and signed UDFA Justyn Ross. Are reports about Tom Brady heading to the Miami Dolphins erroneous despite the potential being incredibly helpful for the New Orleans Saints? With the Saints having their quarterback situation handled for the 2022 NFL season, Marquez Valdes-Scantling was a big free agent wide receiver target. Now that Valdes-Scantling has signed with the Kansas City Chiefs instead, where can the Saints go in free agency? The options are thinning. Julio Jones? Jarvis Landry? An Emmanuel Sanders reunion? Any and all doors should be left open. But if the Saints loved the measureables of Valdes-Scantling, there are several wide receivers in the NFL Draft that check the same, or similar, boxes. NDSU's Christian Watson, USC's Drake London, Cincinnati's Alec Pierce, Georgie George Pickens and others could all be draft targets for the New Orleans Saints. Happy Friday everyone! Hope everyone had a good week cause man it was busy in the sports world. In the NFL some crazy news happened with the Miami Dolphins. Tua gets his guy and the Dolphins acquire Tyreek Hill from the Chiefs for 5 draft picks. What does this mean for Kansas City? The Chiefs went and got Marquez Valdes Scantling for 3 years to try and replace Tyreek but Kevin does not believe it will be enough. Aaron Rodgers got his pay day but at what cost? Green Bay's wide receiver room is led by Allen Lazard....which says enough. In the NBA, New York has lifted their vaccine mandate for athletes which means Kyrie Irving can now play home games! What does this mean for Brooklyn moving forward? The Memphis Grizzles are not to be messed with! With having one of the better records in the NBA and beating the Nets the other night without Ja Morant can they compete for an NBA Finals? Shaq makes a BOLD statement by saying if the Lakers get the 8th seed and get Anthony Davis back he believes they could beat the number one seeded Suns. --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/neighborhood-podcast/message

The New Orleans Saints look to be set going in to 2022 with Jameis Winston at quarterback. But bafflingly, NFL Draft Analyst seem to doubt that and want to send Kenny Pickett or Matt Corral to New Orleans as a rookie starter. The Saints could very well take a quarterback in this year's draft, but to assume that they would then push aside $21 million of guaranteed money to Jameis Winston aside to one of the most questionable QB draft classes is a little farfetched. New Orleans looks set at quarterback barring injury in 2022 and there are many reasons why. Regardless of whether or not they invest at quarterback, which wouldn't be out of the ordinary, the Saints will still need to add weapons to the offense. Marquez Valdes-Scantling and Will Fuller are free agent options, but there are several deep threat options outside of the first round of the NFL draft including Georgia's George Pickens, Nevada's Romeo Doubs, and North Dakota State's Christian Watson. Some feel that the Saints are not a viable or attractive free agent destination. But Marcus Maye and Jameis Winston of the New Orleans Saints are setting the record straight. Why the Saints are still appealing to players looking for a landing spot and how New Orleans Pelicans guard CJ McCollum is helping the perception. Find and follow Locked On Saints on your favorite podcast platforms:
Jameis Winston is set o return to the New Orleans Saints on a two-year deal as their starting quarterback in 2022. With Taysom Hill expected to be out of the conversation at the position, the Saints have a clear identity to build around on offense, and will need to do so quickly. Marquez Valdes-Scantling is still available as a field-stretching deep threat, but the Saints will need other options as well. Odell Beckham Jr. was close to landing with the Saints last year, could they pull him in this time around? With Terron Armstead visiting the Miami Dolphins, could the Jameis Winston signing draw him back to the Big Easy? If they can't, moving Ryan Ramczyk to left tackle may be the most accessible next step ahead of looking to the NFL Draft. With Jameis Winston back and Matt Ryan our in Atlanta, the Falcons bring in Marcus Mariota, fellow 2015 top NFL Draft pick. Now the two are set to meet twice a season. Things aren't going well in Atlanta, and while it's going to help the Saints, one has to question the way for Saints front office member Terry Fontenot is being seen in all of this.
