Development of large-scale data centers is booming across the Midwest. The number of data centers in Illinois is set to nearly double, while Missouri already has 91 of them, mostly centered around St. Louis and Kansas City. But water and energy usage are rallying some communities against data centers. As Harvest Public Media's Abigail Bottar reports, local and state governments are rushing to regulate this growing industry.

Drunk Duck has been around for 24 years now and in that time we've been the home for thousands of creators. We're a happy collaborative community that celebrates people's personal creative efforts, all for free, though we do super appreciate people's support through advertising and Patreon. Above all we are egalitarian and community driven, we support diversity of style, talent, and since it's pride month; gender and sexuality too. The creativity of humans on projects that they're passionate about and want to share with others is why we exist. Generative Ai is something we don't support on the site though. We had open discussions about it when it was blowing up and decided in the end that it doesn't fit with the vibe of our site. At its heart it's simply a copyright theft machine that spits of generic pastiche using people's genuine copyrighted creations as fuel, openly stealing their IP and regurgitating an averaged out imitation. We felt so strongly we wrote it into our site's Terms Of Service and appointed Tantz Aerine as our Tzarina in charge of policing that. No one person represents what we are. We support diversity and creation and that's all. This week our best-off from Gunwallace is: Patchwork and Lace - Darkness abounds, walking into a dark tomb, past shadows and demon parasites, into mysteries beyond light and human understanding. Deep underground where humans were never meant to venture, learning horrific truths about the universe and what lies beyond… The distorted bass line takes you down… deep down. Du lebst in zwei Familiensystemen. Maddie Ballard (she/her) is a writer of mixed Chinese heritage from Aotearoa New Zealand. Her debut essay collection was published as Bound: A Memoir of Making and Remaking (The Emma Press, 2024) in the UK and Patchwork: A Sewist's Diary (Tin House, 2025) in the US. She co-edits Starling, a literary journal for emerging New Zealand writers, and writes a sporadic Substack. She currently lives in Melbourne. In Patchwork, a charming and evocative sewist's diary, Maddie Ballard explores the making (and sometimes remaking) of seventeen specific garments over a period of great change in her life—from a jacket lined with the embroidered Cantonese names of her female ancestors, to a dressing gown made as a gift for a dear friend, to an eco-friendly, zero-waste dress. As the wardrobe grows, so too does Maddie. From her first off-kilter dresses and coats to perfectly fitting pants, readers follow along as she learns to navigate the world around her and how she sees herself in it—both as she is and as she hopes to be. Stitch by stitch, word by word, Maddie drafts her own patterns for ways of living. Throughout the diary, delightful illustrations bring Maddie's creations to life on the page. With a focus on the practical comfort and pleasure provided by sewing in a time of personal renewal, Patchwork: A Sewist's Diary is a warmhearted celebration of the value of craft in the modern age. Imagine living in a spaceship that never leaves the ground. For Tomika, the megastructure she manages is exactly that. It features glittering lights on the ceiling and walls of polished nano-fiber stone, yet the luxury hides a desperate reality. No one can go outside. The inhabitants depend entirely on life support machines and periodic connections to a world they can no longer reach. Tomika never asked to lead, but the people around her seem ready to give up if she doesn't guide them. She wears blue coveralls like a space captain and binges AI-generated movies to escape her irritable bowels and constant anxiety. While she fixes the cooling systems and reinforces walls against massive storms, her biggest challenge is the psychological toll of the "permanent sleep". Her colleagues are choosing to leave reality for virtual worlds, leaving her increasingly alone in the echoing halls. Technology in this world is both a savior and a wedge. Gamers control "remote-in" robots to repair the building's exterior, earning points in a high-stakes simulation that blurs the line between work and play. Some residents, like Phyllis, have abandoned their failing biological bodies entirely. They transfer their brains into specialized containers to pilot sleek, doll-like robotic frames that feel no pain. The tension lies in the divide between the "root world" and the virtual one. While Tomika struggles with mud and maintenance, others spend their days in a VR paradise where they can eat without calories and live in pristine digital farmhouses. This tech offers a release from the trauma of the storms, but it also creates a society of "reality-challenged" individuals who are slowly forgetting how to exist in the physical world. You have to wonder what you would choose if the world outside was a constant hurricane. Would you stay in the drafty halls with Tomika, fighting to keep the geothermal plant running? Or would you take the "canal link" and the stasis bed to live a perfect, simulated life? The story explores that thin line where survival ends and checking out begins.TechPhase-change cooling system uses a liquid that freezes and melts at room temperature to store cold at night and absorb heat during the day for stable indoor conditions without loud machinery. Nano-fiber stone forms polished foundational columns that cast faint reflections throughout the building. Cleaner bots autonomously maintain floor cleanliness throughout the facility. Chests with legs are mobile robots that deliver food to resident apartments. Remote-in robots are exterior and repair bots controlled by humans immersed in virtual reality. Half-size remotes are small droids that crawl through walls and floors to perform maintenance and repairs. Insta-generated space movies are AI-created entertainment content produced on demand for viewers. Holo-screen windows are transparent displays that can dim or show external feeds to reduce psychological impact. E-sleeves are wearable smart devices that display time and personal information. Canal Links are ear implants that allow direct audio connection to the Assist AI system. A.R. glasses provide augmented reality overlays for navigation, information, and entertainment. Assist is the building's AI assistant that provides information, guidance, and task management. Multi viral-vector serum is a medical treatment that temporarily restores fertility while filtering against hundreds of genetic diseases. Sleep pens are handheld injectors that deliver fast-acting sedatives for pain management or sleep. Medical robots are automated healthcare systems that monitor, diagnose, and treat residents. Full-body haptic rigs sync human movement with remote robots for exterior construction work. Outside Crawler robots are wall-climbing machines controlled remotely to repair the building's exterior during storms. Enzyme welding technology uses biological catalysts and crystallizing foam to bond and reinforce structural surfaces. Vibration sensors detect hairline fractures and weak spots in the building's outer walls. Crystallizing foam is a repair material that blooms outward, liquefies grime, and hardens to strengthen damaged surfaces. Stasis V.R. is an advanced virtual reality system allowing immersive experiences without traditional plug-in equipment. Nerve grafted devices are biological-tech interfaces that enable direct neural connection to virtual reality systems. T.M.S. caps are wearable therapeutic devices with scalp nodules that treat conditions like irritable bowel syndrome through transcranial stimulation. Transmitter implants are microscopic devices grown adjacent to nerve cells to enable stasis V.R. connectivity. Butler bots are advanced robots with panther-like movement and multi-limb coordination deployed by the AI Butler for complex tasks. Whisper drones are small flying robots used for communication or monitoring within the building. Kinetic-weave silk is a smart fabric that can be printed on-demand to create custom clothing. Bioprinted composites and layered 2D materials are advanced substances used to construct brain life-support containers. Brain containers are life-support appliances that house human brains with synthetic blood circulation for extended survival. Synthetic blood circulation systems oxygenate and pump artificial blood through preserved brains in containers. Hauler bots are reconfigurable transport robots that can carry cargo or passengers through the facility. Doll bots are humanoid remote-operated robots with realistic features that allow users to inhabit physical forms. Mannequin bots are basic poseable robots originally designed for display that can be repurposed for remote presence. Server bots are service robots that prepare and deliver meals to residents. Twenty bot orchestra consists of identical gender-neutral robots configured to perform music together. A.R. night vision is an augmented reality feature that enhances visibility in low-light conditions. Terrain modeling software visualizes soil layers, water tables, and geological features for engineering assessment. Patchwork screen walls combine multiple displays to create large-scale immersive visual environments. Gene-edited mushrooms are bioengineered food products designed to mimic the taste and texture of traditional foods like scrambled eggs. Smart-particle pillows are adaptive cushions that adjust their form to provide optimal head and neck support. Spa service robots deliver automated wellness and personal care treatments to residents. A.R. aerobics classes provide guided fitness instruction through augmented reality interfaces. Production center robots are automated systems that dismantle and reassemble manufacturing equipment for facility retrofitting. Lutin bots are specialized robots capable of dismantling structures and moving heavy equipment. All-purpose bots are versatile robots that medical systems can deploy when additional assistance is needed. Rail system and service tunnels are infrastructure networks connecting the building to external transportation and utility systems. Training earbuds are temporary audio devices used before permanent Canal Link implants are installed. Foldable lights are portable, collapsible lighting solutions. Many of the characters in this project appear in future episodes. Using storytelling to place you in a time period, this series takes you, year by year, into the future. From 2040 to 2195. If you like emerging tech, eco-tech, futurism, perma-culture, apocalyptic survival scenarios, and disruptive science, sit back and enjoy short stories that showcase my research into how the future may play out. If culture is a vibe, and instruction is what creates it, then Student Identity is the map that tells you which vibe is actually required for the humans in your room. In this episode, Jocelynn revisits the concept of intersectionality—a concept first explored in Season 5, episode 2 —and anchors it within the AnchorED for Achievement framework. We often try to build "culture-centered" rooms by looking at a "single note," but our students are a complex intersection of experiences. Jocelynn breaks down why we must move from broad identity categories to individual rhythms. Discover how to use the Student Identity & Learning Profile tool to gather essential instructional data and how the AnchorED Equity Audits and Strategic Planning tool for school leaders work together to architect a classroom of belonging and excellence.Key Takeways:The Single-Note Trap: Why viewing students through one dimension (race, label, or behavior) creates blind spots and crushes potential.Intersectionality as a Patchwork Quilt: Honoring the unique rhythm created where race, gender, neurodiversity, and family dynamics meet.Identity is Data: How mapping identity fulfills Principle 8 (Data-Informed Practice) of the AnchorED framework.Structure PROCEEDS Practice: Why you must architect the environment for a student's rhythm before they can practice their brilliance.Auditing vs. Architecting: Using the AnchorED Equity Audit to find systemic cracks and the Strategic Planning tool for school leaders to engineer long-term solutions. The Coaching Corner:Strengthening your Instructional LensSit with these three core guiding questions as you look at your next unit plan:Self: What will this student learn about their own unique, intersectional genius?Peers: What will they learn about the rhythms of those around them?World: How does mastering this standard help them use their power to impact the community?Deepening your Awareness (The AAA Reflection)Awareness: What am I noticing about how I've been labeling people? Am I interacting with them from only one dimension of their personhood?Acceptance: What belief am I willing to release? Can I accept that my people are not one-dimensional?Action: What is the one micro-move I can make next to honor intersectionality?Committing to the Shift (Implementation Intention)"This week, I will [ACTION] at [TIME] for [LENGTH OF TIME] in [CONTEXT]."Teacher: ...analyze the specific learning rhythm and joy sparkers of one student on Tuesday during my planning for 10 minutes.Instructional Coach: ...lead a reflection session with a teacher to identify one "stealth move" for student advocacy on Thursday for 15 minutes.Principal: ...select one systemic gap identified in our school-wide data and draft two measurable goals to address it on Monday for 20 minutes.Resources Mentioned:Student Identity & Learning Profile tool: Map the individual rhythms of your students.AnchorED Equity Audits (Teacher & Principal Editions): Identify the "cracks" in your environment and policies.Strategic Planning tool for school leaders: Turn your audit results into a roadmap for liberation. The Shop: CustomTeachingSolutions.com/shop (Code: FOUNDERS for $4 off until June 3rd!)

What made the American funeral industry what it is today? Why do we embalm? How do societal status & funeral styles overlap? Gary Laderman, PhD, is the Goodrich C. White Prof of Amer Religious History & Cultures at Emory University in Georgia, the author of multiple books & featured on The Mortician: an HBO documentary covering a 1980s funeral home who exploited grieving families. In this episode, you'll hear how funeral rituals went from DIY to the elaborate & long list of menu options today, how those options supported or detracted from family status, the spooky status of the death worker themselves, how embalming changed everything (hello capitalism!) & the growing resistance towards the commodification of death If you liked this episode, you'll also like episode 278: MORBID OR SACRED? Doch als seine Frau Tanja die gemeinsame Vater-Wohnung verkaufen will, bricht ein Konflikt auf, der viel tiefer geht als Geld oder Immobilien. On this episode of Govtech Today, hosts Russell Lowery and Jennifer Saha examine how global disruption and an AI-driven hardware boom are colliding with government procurement realities. They discuss how rapid supplier price spikes and delivery uncertainty strain California's fixed price schedules—often locked for six months—creating delayed quotes, uncompetitive bids, and the risk that vendors stop bidding rather than sell at a loss, leading to project delays and a focus on mission-critical needs. The conversation then shifts to federal AI regulation: a new plan and executive-order direction may set guardrails while still leaving states to manage AI procurement rules, potentially forcing early-moving states like California, Colorado, and New York to roll back some efforts later. They close on how legislation lags fast-moving AI, and how adoption varies widely across agencies and cities.   00:00 Welcome to Gov Tech Today 00:33 Supply Chain Shockwaves 01:18 AI Boom Hardware Crunch 01:53 Fixed Pricing Meets Reality 03:54 Quoting Chaos for Vendors 05:47 Project Delays and Workarounds 06:12 Can California Adjust Rules 07:35 Reseller Margins and Value 08:25 Federal AI Regulation Push 09:39 Bills Versus Executive Orders 11:08 Guardrails and Wild West 13:54 Uneven AI Adoption in Government 15:29 Wrap Up and Next Episode

May the vulnerable be guarded with love. May the powerful awaken to wisdom. May the earth and its being be cherished. May peace take root in every direction. ~Jack Kornfield Praying It doesn't have to be the blue iris, it could be weeds in a vacant lot, or a few small stones; just pay attention, then patch a few words together and don't try to make them elaborate, this isn't a contest but the doorway into thanks, and a silence in which another voice may speak. Thank you ~ Mary Oliver Instructions for Having a Soul Take it out in the rain sometimes. It has vast, invisible wings that gather dirt and need rinsing. When it tries to kill you that is because you've forgotten to let it look into someone's eyes for longer than a minute. It needs that the way a bee needs nectar in the early morning dew. Every so often, take it on a journey. Let it read long, hard books and let it stare into the depths of the sea. Yes, you can give it chips and whiskey but from time to time let it kneel in a place that is holy like the simple cathedral of the willows. All it wants is to live, to keep becoming. Nourish it, and it puts down roots, it opens. But starve it, and the mind, the flesh is empty; the world breaks down; symphonies go unwritten; the rockets fall; the children die in flames. Listen. It is not too late to wake it. Say the names of the wild, the forgotten things: bluebird, red wolf, robin; violet, child, clover. You cannot save the world but you can open the window for the trapped wren in the cellar. Read a book to a blind man, to your father. Tell a child you do believe her anger. Make your life the first life that you save. —Joseph Fasano

The Valley Today
Holiday Traditions Unwrapped: Local Leaders Share Their Stories

The Valley Today

As the holiday season sweeps through the Valley, host of The Valley Today, Janet Michael invites listeners to step into the warmth of community traditions in a special episode. This festive conversation, woven from interviews with local leaders, business owners, and community members, offers a delightful tapestry of Christmas customs, heartfelt memories, and a few friendly debates. The Great Tree Debate: Real or Artificial? The episode opens with a question that sparks instant nostalgia: Are you a real Christmas tree person or do you prefer artificial? Krista Shifflett of the Warren Coalition confesses her lifelong love for real trees, though practicality has recently nudged her toward artificial options. Similarly, Celeste Brooks shares that allergies in her family have made artificial trees a necessity, while others, like Les Sinclair of the Blue Ridge Area Food Bank, opt for convenience over tradition. The conversation reveals that, for many, the choice between real and artificial is shaped by family needs, safety, and even the presence of pets. Decking the Halls: Timing and Traditions Transitioning from tree types to timing, Janet asks her guests when they put up and take down their decorations. Some, like Robyn Miller of WATTS, stick to the classic post-Thanksgiving setup, while others, such as Victoria Armstrong Kidd of the Hideaway Cafe, admit to keeping their trees up well into February. The reasons vary—busy schedules, a love for the festive glow, or simply not wanting to let go of the season's magic. Gift-Giving Rituals: Wrapping, Bagging, and the Art of Shopping No holiday conversation is complete without discussing gifts. The guests reveal a spectrum of shopping habits, from early planners who finish by Thanksgiving to last-minute dashers picking up presents on Christmas Eve. The art of wrapping also comes under the spotlight, with some guests proudly identifying as "wrappers" who cherish the ritual, while others embrace the practicality of gift bags—especially when time is short or the recipient is a pet with a penchant for unwrapping. Christmas Eve vs. Christmas Morning: When to Open Gifts? Another beloved tradition—when to open gifts—elicits a variety of responses. Some families uphold the anticipation of Christmas morning, while others allow a sneak peek on Christmas Eve, often in the form of a single present or a special family ritual. These small differences highlight the unique ways each household creates its own holiday magic. A Patchwork of Community Spirit Throughout the episode, Janet's guests share more than just their traditions; they offer a glimpse into the values that bind the Valley community. Whether it's the joy of decorating multiple trees, the chaos of wrapping gifts at the last minute, or the comfort of gathering with loved ones, these stories remind us that the heart of the holidays lies in togetherness and shared memories. Conclusion: Celebrating What Matters Most As the conversation draws to a close, Janet encourages listeners to reflect on their own traditions and perhaps borrow a few new ideas from her guests. In a season often marked by hustle and bustle, this episode serves as a gentle reminder to savor the moments, embrace the quirks, and celebrate the connections that make the holidays truly special in the Valley.

In this episode of Crazy Wisdom, I—Stewart Alsop—sit down with Garrett Dailey to explore a wide-ranging conversation that moves from the mechanics of persuasion and why the best pitches work by attraction rather than pressure, to the nature of AI as a pattern tool rather than a mind, to power cycles, meaning-making, and the fracturing of modern culture. Garrett draws on philosophy, psychology, strategy, and his own background in storytelling to unpack ideas around narrative collapse, the chaos–order split in human cognition, the risk of “AI one-shotting,” and how political and technological incentives shape the world we're living through. You can find the tweet Stewart mentions in this episode here. Also, follow Garrett Dailey on Twitter at @GarrettCDailey, or find more of his pitch-related work on LinkedIn.Check out this GPT we trained on the conversationTimestamps00:00 Garrett opens with persuasion by attraction, storytelling, and why pitches fail with force. 05:00 We explore gravity as metaphor, the opposite of force, and the “ring effect” of a compelling idea. 10:00 AI as tool not mind; creativity, pattern prediction, hype cycles, and valuation delusions. 15:00 Limits of LLMs, slopification, recursive language drift, and cultural mimicry. 20:00 One-shotting, psychosis risk, validation-seeking, consciousness vs prediction. 25:00 Order mind vs chaos mind, solipsism, autism–schizophrenia mapping, epistemology. 30:00 Meaning, presence, Zen, cultural fragmentation, shared models breaking down. 35:00 U.S. regional culture, impossibility of national unity, incentives shaping politics. 40:00 Fragmentation vs reconciliation, markets, narratives, multipolarity, Dune archetypes. 45:00 Patchwork age, decentralization myths, political fracturing, libertarian limits. 50:00 Power as zero-sum, tech-right emergence, incentives, Vance, Yarvin, empire vs republic. 55:00 Cycles of power, kyklos, democracy's decay, design-by-committee, institutional failure.Key InsightsPersuasion works best through attraction, not pressure. Garrett explains that effective pitching isn't about forcing someone to believe you—it's about creating a narrative gravity so strong that people move toward the idea on their own. This reframes persuasion from objection-handling into desire-shaping, a shift that echoes through sales, storytelling, and leadership.AI is powerful precisely because it's not a mind. Garrett rejects the “machine consciousness” framing and instead treats AI as a pattern amplifier—extraordinarily capable when used as a tool, but fundamentally limited in generating novel knowledge. The danger arises when humans project consciousness onto it and let it validate their insecurities.Recursive language drift is reshaping human communication. As people unconsciously mimic LLM-style phrasing, AI-generated patterns feed back into training data, accelerating a cultural “slopification.” This becomes a self-reinforcing loop where originality erodes, and the machine's voice slowly colonizes the human one.The human psyche operates as a tension between order mind and chaos mind. Garrett's framework maps autism and schizophrenia as pathological extremes of this duality, showing how prediction and perception interact inside consciousness—and why AI, which only simulates chaos-mind prediction, can never fully replicate human knowing.Meaning arises from presence, not abstraction. Instead of obsessing over politics, geopolitics, or distant hypotheticals, Garrett argues for a Zen-like orientation: do what you're doing, avoid what you're not doing. Meaning doesn't live in narratives about the future—it lives in the task at hand.Power follows predictable cycles—and America is deep in one. Borrowing from the Greek kyklos, Garrett frames the U.S. as moving from aristocracy toward democracy's late-stage dysfunction: populism, fragmentation, and institutional decay. The question ahead is whether we're heading toward empire or collapse.Decentralization is entropy, not salvation. Crypto dreams of DAOs and patchwork societies ignore the gravitational pull of power. Systems fragment as they weaken, but eventually a new center of order emerges. The real contest isn't decentralization vs. centralization—it's who will have the coherence and narrative strength to recentralize the pieces.

Live around 5 p.m., Post-Gazette sports columnist Paul Zeise analyzes the Steelers' offseason following this dismissal of $10 million CB Darius Slay and the benching of WR Roman Wilson. How much heat does GM Omar Khan deserve for signing the 34-year-old Slay to such a rich contract? Would the team have been better off investing that hefty salary elsewhere? Or does he deserve credit for the emergence of James Pierre and Brandin Echols within coach Mike Tomlin's defense? On the other side of the ball, was Khan's faith in Wilson as a viable receiver in this offense warranted? Or is the promotion of Adam Thielen and Marquez Valdes-Scantling from the practice squad a de facto admission that the team's plan at the position was inadequate behind DK Metcalf and Calvin Austin III? Paul tackles those questions and also gives his thoughts on Philip Rivers joining the Indianapolis Colts as they compete with Aaron Rodgers and the Steelers for an AFC playoff spot. You're listening to American Ground Radio with Louis R. Avallone and Stephen Parr. This is the full show for November 20, 2025. 0:30 We are sounding the alarm because six Democratic members of Congress put out a video telling U.S. service members they can “refuse illegal orders.” That may sound fine on this surface, but this video isn’t about law at all. It’s about planting the idea that orders from President Trump himself are somehow optional. We break down what the Constitution says about following the president's orders and how this video is just another attempt to delegitimize President Trump. 9:30 Plus, we cover the Top 3 Things You Need to Know. According to data released by the Bureau of Labor Statistics, the US Economy added 119,000 jobs in September. The 9th Circuit Court of Appeals has put a halt to a new California law that would have required companies all across the country to post on their website all of their carbon emissions. Democrat Congresswoman Sheila Cherfilus-McCormick has been indicted for campaign finance fraud. 12:30 Get Prodovite Plus from Victory Nutrition International for 20% off. Go to vni.life/agr and use the promo code AGR20. 13:30 The discussion of the "refuse illegal orders" video continues, and we're calling out the Democrats' hypocrisy. The Democrats want to label January 6th an “insurrection,” but that label is far more fitting for the video that these six Democratic lawmakers put out. And isn't funny that these lawmakers never identify any supposed unlawful orders? This isn't harmless political theater. 16:00 The American Mamas tackle a difficult listener question: When a couple divorces, should they tell the kids if infidelity was involved? Teri Netterville and Kimberly Burleson explore different perspectives on honesty, timing, protecting children, and how to handle complicated situations when emotions are high. The conversation highlights how every family’s circumstances are different — and why compassion and careful communication matter. If you'd like to ask our American Mamas a question, go to our website, AmericanGroundRadio.com/mamas and click on the Ask the Mamas button. 23:00 We react to Senator Bernie Moreno's claim that "the American dream is dead." While the last four years under Biden were undeniably brutal for working families, America’s promise isn’t gone—just bruised by bad policy. 25:30 We Dig Deep into a jaw-dropping investigation out of Minnesota that traces massive state-funded fraud back to the wave of Somali refugees resettled during the Obama administration. We walk listeners through explosive reporting from City Journal showing how tens of millions—eventually hundreds of millions—of taxpayer dollars from housing and autism-related programs were siphoned off through fake clients, fake services, and kickback schemes run predominantly by individuals tied to the Somali refugee community in Minneapolis. The numbers are staggering: programs that were supposed to cost a couple million ballooning to over $100 million… autism funding exploding from $3 million to $399 million… and remittances being funneled overseas at such scale that U.S. Somali residents send more money abroad than Somalia’s entire national budget. And the part that stops everyone in their tracks? DOJ tracing significant chunks of that money straight into the accounts of terrorist group Al-Shabaab—leading to the chilling conclusion that Minnesota taxpayers have become the largest funders of Al-Shabaab. 32:00 Get TrimROX from Victory Nutrition International for 20% off. Go to vni.life/agr and use the promo code AGR20. 33:00 We break down how, throughout history, communist regimes have always feared religion—not because prayer is dangerous, but because faith gives people something the state can’t tolerate: hope, identity, and loyalty that doesn’t flow through government power. It's no coincidence that Zoran Mamdani said that no issue is too small for the government to meddle in. The lefts wants the government to become like God. 35:30 Plus, Thanksgiving dinner is actually getting cheaper this year, and that's a Bright Spot. We break down the newest numbers from the American Farm Bureau and talk about what the drop in costs says about affordability, the economy, and why it’s a bright spot worth celebrating. 40:00 We dive into Megan Rapinoe’s latest comments on transgender athletes in women’s sports—and, yes, her unexpected comparison involving Landon Donovan’s hairline. According to Rapinoe, men in women's supports is comparable to a coach wearing a hearpiece. Her argument has us saying, "Whoa."
