Today we were so excited to be joined by Carson King for episode 18 of the podcast! Carson is the founder of the “Carson King Foundation”, and the Iowa State student who raised $3 million for the University of Iowa's Stead Family Children's Hospital! Carson went viral on all kinds of social media platforms after his sign (“Busch Light Supply Needs Replenished, Venmo: Carson-King-25”)was seen all over TV when he held it up during ESPN's College GameDay coverage of an Iowa State University football game. After the first few hundred dollars worth of contributions came through, Carson decided to donate the total amount to the children's hospital after setting aside $18.00 to purchase one case of Busch Light. Word spread of Carson's intentions, and the story gained the attention of Annheuser Busch and Venmo, who committed to matching King's donation. Contributions continued to pour in, eventually climbing to over $3 Million from more than 35,000 donors. That event sparked a passion for charitable work in Carson's life, and he is now the head of the “Carson King Foundation”. Listen in to hear him talk to Rob about his rise to stardom, the purpose and goals of the “Carson King Foundation”, about the fun ways that people can support Iowans in need, and even about the crazy power that social media has in today's world! Thank you so much for tuning in!!!

Is being stoic a good thing or a bad thing? Scott and Anthony get into it about elements of stoicism that can be effective in nearly all situations. The thing is, it has to be applied in the correct way. You can't be passive aggressive and call it being stoic. There is a huge difference. We give examples of historic and modern day men who have applied themselves with a stoic nature and how that had a bigger impact that flying off the handle. #boyswillbeboys celebrates Carson King, who helped raise nearly $3 million dollars for charity by holding up a sign on College Game Day asking for beer money on his Venmo account. https://www.desmoinesregister.com/story/news/2019/10/01/carson-king-fundraiser-ends-dollars-raised-childrens-hospital-busch-light/3819735002/

On the Friday interview edition of the Daily Daily Caller Podcast we talk facts about climate change with Marc Moreno from ClimateDepot.com. But first, we talk about the sham hearing on the so-called "whistleblower" and the Democrats' push to impeach President Trump on a scam of a story involving Ukraine. Democrats are pushing ahead for impeachment based a "whistleblower" complaint that is proving to be false at every turn. The second- and thirdhand allegations of wrongdoing are undercut completely by the facts - there was no quid pro quo, no ask to manufacture "dirt," and no threats to withhold aid. In fact, according to the New York Times, Ukraine's new President didn't even know US aid to Ukraine was being held up until a month after the phone call Democrats claim President Trump was using it a leverage to force Ukraine to "interfere in our elections." In other words, the whole thing is as big of a fraud as Congressman Adam Schiff's opening "parody." We have all the audio and analysis. What is the truth about climate change? Marc Moreno has forgotten more about the subject than most other people know. As the leading de-bunker of the left-wing climate hoax, Marc gets into the origins of the cult of climate, how the left is indoctrinating children, and why, despite the lies, liberals are so successful and pushing their agenda forward. You don't want to miss this one. Then we tell the story of a hot pursuit in California with an electric police car that went horribly wrong thanks to a lack of power, and we have an update on Carson King. The Des Moines Register fired the reporter who wrote the story "outing" old tweets of the college student who raised more than a million dollars for a children's hospital was fired by the paper. The people who weren't fired are the editors who OK'd the inclusion of tweets from when King was 16. We have the details.
The whistleblower complaint is so hot right now, and Ron & Brian break it down along with the now-infamous Trump Ukraine phone call! The only thing more important that that are our NFL Locks of the Week, and we also talk about the end of Eli Manning's career and the beginning of Daniel Dimes! We review celebrity deaths, Ron fields a listener questions, and we discuss the Carson King beer money story. If you looking for drinks, racism, and beefs, we got those too!
Carson King has broken the internet. With so many developments in the biggest Iowa story of 2019, we had to record a special episode to update our thoughts. On Tuesday, September 24, Busch Light announced that they would be ceasing further ties with Carson King. This decision was allegedly made due to information included in a story released by the Des Moines Register. This information put Iowa in a frenzy. Here are our thoughts.

Carson King the dude who was asking for beer money on TV last week, wrote a few dumb things on social media 8 years back and the press is trying to make him look bad!
On today's show we expose how the media is lying about the transcript of the call between President Donald Trump and the president of Ukraine. Joe Biden's poll numbers in key states are tanking, in no small part due to the Ukraine story, and there is a karmic update in the story of the college student who raised more than a million dollars for a children's hospital only to see social media posts from when he was 16 being dredged up by the media. The transcript Democrats demanded to see was released publicly by the White House Wednesday and it showed how the reports of "pressure" or a "quid pro quo" from Trump to Ukraine's new President were fake news. But having their narrative blown out of the water did not deter Democrats and their liberal media allies from sticking to their talking points. MSNBC and CNN flat-out lied to their audiences about what the transcript says. We have the audio and the evidence. Former Vice President Joe Biden's poll numbers in the early primary states are tanking, in no small part due to the Ukraine story. His carefully crafted image of being a middle-class, blue-collar guy doesn't hold up when there are reports of how his son with a history of drug abuse managed to land a "job" making $50,000 per month in an industry in which he had zero experience or knowledge. We dig into the story. And then there's the story of Carson King. An Iowa college student, King went viral at a football game and raised more than a million dollars for a children's hospital only to have "offensive" social media posts reported by the Des Moines Register. The story had an interesting twist that will make you believe in karma. We have the story.

PDS 9.25 You Won't Believe this NEW Carson King News, Shane Dawson Returns, & Impeachment Update by The Philip DeFranco Show
Over one million dollars have been raised so far by Carson King, a man who held a sign at College Gameday asking for beer money, that will be donated to the University of Iowa Children's Hospital. That campaign was derailed yesterday when a newspaper discovered insensitive tweets from when King was a kid, almost a decade ago. Hear the story and my reaction here...
On today's show we discuss the Speaker of the House coming around on impeachment, or did she? Nancy Pelosi is supporting a "formal impeachment inquiry" without actually launching an official impeachment inquiry. Bernie Sanders announces plans to seize the country's wealth, and a college student who donated a huge amount of money to a children's hospital receives the "cancel culture" treatment from the media because they're awful. Nancy Pelosi came out in favor of launching a "formal impeachment inquiry" but then did nothing to actually launch one, which would require a vote of the House. She's trying to have her cake and eat it too. A majority of Democrats in the House support impeachment, but a majority of the House does not, so a vote would not pass. Still, Pelosi is under extreme pressure from the liberals in her party to push forward, so she's changing the words she's using without actually changing anything at all. We explain. President Trump, after Democrats made their intentions clear, immediately announced he was releasing the transcript of his call with the President of Ukraine, the whistleblower report, and would allow the whistleblower to testify before Congress. This has Democrats nervous. Could we be witnessing the greatest political trolling of all time? Did the President allow Democrats to pull enough rope to hang themselves on this so-called scandal? We discuss the possibilities.Bernie Sanders announced the details of his "wealth tax," and it's profoundly unAmerican. Seizing wealth, government agents having access to every record and asset people own, a 60 percent tax on people who attempt to move out of the country, and this is just the start. We have the details. A college student who held up a sign asking for donations for beer money and ended up raising more than a million dollars for a children's hospital was outed for having twice tweeted "racially insensitive" things when he was 16 years old. The Des Moines Register "broke" the story in a profile of Carson King, who had a partnership with Anheuser Busch to raise money for the hospital. In response to the "revelation" about the tweets from his high school years, Busch disassociated itself from King. The "cancel culture" claims another victim. This is why people hate the media, and why that hatred is completely justified.
