I had by chance turned to the FM station KPFA, on my way back from a construction observation duty in the San Francisco Bay Area. There was a very brave talk show host, Bonnie Faulkner, who was the only one at the station willing to take deep dives into exposing the Deep State, but I didn't know about that, or her, yet – nor of her mysterious guest that day, David Ray Griffin.She was asking him to share with her audience his findings, having just discovered Graeme MacQueen's deep research into the 500 pages of explosive testimonies of the Oral Histories of hundreds of 9/11 first responders – released by New York City under court order in August of 2005.This professor of theology carefully read many of these eyewitness statements of explosions, one after another. I found myself entering a state of cognitive dissonance. I had never heard of any alternative theory about how the Twin Tower's came down. I couldn't drive and listen to this at the same time. It required all of my brain power to try to process his message. The testimony was powerful – and already contradicting my very world view. I pulled my car into the parking lot and just sat and listened  – in horror actually. I thought I knew pretty well what happened on 9/11. I was a Reagan Republican and wanted to go into Afghanistan and Iraq and get those bastards who did this to us.But here was this very well-spoken, seemingly objective, elderly gentleman, telling me about beams flying out of the towers laterally, dripping with molten metal, impaling themselves into buildings hundreds of feet away. He even tried to tell me that a third tower came down – one that wasn't even hit by a plane! “What?! I'm an architect! I would know if a third tower came down! Either this guy is the biggest con artist – or I had been conned by my government – and I just couldn't go there – not yet anyway. I would prove him wrong. I went to see him the next night at the Grand Lake Theater in Oakland, CA. But I was late. And he had attracted a sell-out crowd of 600. I couldn't get in.I could listen to him on what they were calling a “livestream” (brand new back then!). What I heard, online that night, was a deeply moving presentation that covered a whole lot more ground than I had heard on the radio, and it was delivered with a simple logic that I couldn't fight. David Ray Griffin stepped aside and let his evidence do the work. I was in trouble. By the time he was done with me, I felt like I had been turned upside down and inside out. I was confused – raw and vulnerable, yet this had turned to anger in the days and weeks to come, and the anger turned to action, as I independently verified his outrageous insinuations about my government and the media who had lied to me on a colossal scale. Dr. Graeme MacQueen received his Ph.D. in Buddhist Studies from Harvard University and taught in the Religious Studies Department of McMaster University for 30 years. In Part 3 of my four-part series on the work of the 9/11 Consensus Panel, I speak with David Chandler about the physics behind the collapse of the three World Trade Center Towers on September 11th, 2001. Why do the buildings look like they came down in controlled demolition by carefully placed explosives? "Because," says David, "That is what happened." He says, "I tell people, you can see what happened with your own eyes, by doing the physics, I am just proving that you're not crazy."The 9/11 Consensus Panel has just published its six-year investigation of best evidence consensus regarding the events surrounding the crimes that took place on September 11th, 2001. Their book released on September 11th, 2018 is called 9/11 Unmasked: An International Review Panel Investigation. Even the distribution of the book has not been without intrigue. While the book was printed and sent to Amazon for distribution by September 11th, the Amazon website (as of September 17th) still says the item is not in stock.  I pre-ordered my copy on August 14th and it arrived September 17th. The publisher says Amazon does have the books. 9/11 Unmasked may be ordered from the publisher, Interlink Books. Edward Curtin, who wrote a review of the book, also wrote a piece about this unusual action by Amazon, Amazon Censorship of 9/11 Unmasked.  Curtin writes:"Readers should demand that Amazon immediately change their website and accept orders to be shipped today. Here also is a review from University of Sheffield Professor, Piers Robinson.David Chandler has a Bachelor of Science degree in physics from Harvey Mudd College, a Master of Arts in education, and a Master of Science in mathematics from California Polytechnic University. He recently retired from teaching physics, mathematics, and astronomy at the high school and college levels since 1972, and has now moved to Denver. Since about 2007 he has been active as a researcher with what he calls the "science wing" of the 9/11 Truth Movement. He is currently the Coordinator of Scientists for 9/11 Truth, and worked for several years with Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth. David became involved with the study of the building collapses of the World Trade Center when he realized he could use frame tracking software, which he used in his physics teaching, to measure the various velocities and accelerations associated with the 9/11 building collapses. He is best known for his measurements demonstrating the freefall of WTC 7, proving that NIST’s (National Institute for Science and Technology) claims were false. In its final report NIST changed its analysis of the motion of WTC 7, admitting freefall, but continued to deny its clear implications. David has authored and co-authored a number of scientific papers including "Destruction of the World Trade Center North Tower and Fundamental Physics." He has also created a large number of videos analyzing various aspects of the World Trade Center Collapses and presented them to the public on YouTube. There are now over 2,250 professional architects and engineers who have acknowledged flaws in the official explanation of what caused the World Trade Center Towers to collapse. A poll from last year found that nearly 50% of Americans exposed to footage of the collapsing World Trade Center Towers suspect they were brought down by controlled demolition. Two years ago, the documentary “9/11: Explosive Evidence – Experts Speak Out ” aired on PBS and ranked among the top three most watched programs on the station, and the most shared on the internet.[2] On September 8, 2013, the popular Russia Today broadcast, The Truth Seeker, aired a thirteen minute newscast critical of the official explanation of 9/11. The broadcast was starting to go viral on You Tube before Youtube statistics suspiciously flat-lined.[3] The 9/11 Truth movement is becoming increasingly visible as RETHINK 911 anniversary events in New York City and around the world are becoming increasingly impossible to ignore. Meanwhile, US President Barrack Obama on the eve of the anniversary announces his plans to launch military assaults in Iraq and Syria in order to destroy the terrorist menace with virtually no significant resistance. The 9/11 Consensus Panel put out a press release in recent days announcing new points of concensus relating to the 9/11 airliner black boxes found at the World Trade Center site, standard protocols that were not followed in the instance of a hijacking, and incriminating statements from former New York City Mayor Mayor Rudolph Giuliani. The Truth movement may be growing, but there seems to be no noticeable changes in the political landscape as a result. On the week marking the thirteenth anniversary of the 9/11 attacks, we get thirteenth anniversary retrospectives on 9/11 from two people very much at the forefront of the efforts to challenge the official account of the tragedy. They address the efforts to investigate 9/11 using recently revealed but rarely seen on-line documents, the obstacles to 9/11 Truth making a breakthrough in the political arena, the role of groups like Al Qaeda and ISIS/ISIL as US strategic assets, and concerns forming around a new State directed investigation.
