Did you Miss our Tribute to The 'Grandfather of the 9/11 Truth Movement'?It was with a very heavy heart that we shared the news that our friend and mentor in the great 9/11 Truth work, Prof. David Ray Griffin, had succumbed to his long battle with cancer and passed away on November 25, 2022.This was a very special livestream tribute to the 'Grandfather of the 9/11 Truth Movement' on Friday, December 10, hosted by Elizabeth Woodworth, myself, and my wife & assistant Gail Gage.Our panel of distinguished guests payed their respects to this giant of an intellectual, this author of no less than 50 books (15 on the subject of 9/11 truth) include Peter Dale Scott, Paul Craig Roberts, Fran Shure, Barbara Honegger, Niels Harrit, Steven Jones, David Chandler, and Ken Jenkins.My personal reflection:The Day My Life Changed ForeverHis voice was deceptively gentle on the radio that afternoon, March 29, 2006. I had by chance turned to the FM station KPFA, on my way back from a construction observation duty in the San Francisco Bay Area. There was a very brave talk show host, Bonnie Faulkner, who was the only one at the station willing to take deep dives into exposing the Deep State, but I didn't know about that, or her, yet – nor of her mysterious guest that day, David Ray Griffin.She was asking him to share with her audience his findings, having just discovered Graeme MacQueen's deep research into the 500 pages of explosive testimonies of the Oral Histories of hundreds of 9/11 first responders – released by New York City under court order in August of 2005.This professor of theology carefully read many of these eyewitness statements of explosions, one after another. I found myself entering a state of cognitive dissonance. I had never heard of any alternative theory about how the Twin Tower's came down. I couldn't drive and listen to this at the same time. It required all of my brain power to try to process his message. The testimony was powerful – and already contradicting my very world view. I pulled my car into the parking lot and just sat and listened  – in horror actually. I thought I knew pretty well what happened on 9/11. I was a Reagan Republican and wanted to go into Afghanistan and Iraq and get those bastards who did this to us.But here was this very well-spoken, seemingly objective, elderly gentleman, telling me about beams flying out of the towers laterally, dripping with molten metal, impaling themselves into buildings hundreds of feet away. He even tried to tell me that a third tower came down – one that wasn't even hit by a plane! “What?! I'm an architect! I would know if a third tower came down! Either this guy is the biggest con artist – or I had been conned by my government – and I just couldn't go there – not yet anyway. I would prove him wrong. I went to see him the next night at the Grand Lake Theater in Oakland, CA. But I was late. And he had attracted a sell-out crowd of 600. I couldn't get in.I could listen to him on what they were calling a “livestream” (brand new back then!). What I heard, online that night, was a deeply moving presentation that covered a whole lot more ground than I had heard on the radio, and it was delivered with a simple logic that I couldn't fight. David Ray Griffin stepped aside and let his evidence do the work. I was in trouble. By the time he was done with me, I felt like I had been turned upside down and inside out. I was confused – raw and vulnerable, yet this had turned to anger in the days and weeks to come, and the anger turned to action, as I independently verified his outrageous insinuations about my government and the media who had lied to me on a colossal scale. Cobb, Jr., he founded the Center for Process Studies in 1973, a research center of Claremont School of Theology that promotes process thought. As professionals, they have found so many technical and logical flaws in the official narrative that they are convinced the truth has not been told. On September 11, 2001, four American airlines were hijacked and converted into weapons of war. One of these planes was Flight 93, which departed from Newark International Airport in New Jersey, heading to San Francisco Internation Airport when at 9:28 am Ziad Jarrah, and three other Al-Qaeda terrorists stormed into the cockpit and took control of the airline with the intent of crashing it either into the White House or Capitol House. However, as the passengers of Flight 93 realized the reality of their situation, they collectively decided to take action and fight back against this new variation of terrorism. In March 2018 I had a live interview scheduled with Dr. Kevin Barrett on my monthly show, "The Beloved Community" on KBOO. Through a smear campaign led by Rose City Antifa complete with name-calling, character assassination, and a deluge of tweets and phone calls, the station staff and management were pressured to stop the interview and actually ban Kevin Barrett from being on the air. (Staff and management claim they were not pressured.) I appealed the decision but my appeal was never addressed. Dr. Barrett never had an opportunity to defend himself. Volunteers or the membership never had an opportunity to review this process.  On December 13th, 2019 I broadcast a pre-recorded show that included audio from the last sermon I gave to my church, an interview with Dr. David Ray Griffin and a speech Dr. Kevin Barrett delivered at a KBOO-sponsored event at Portland State in February 2018 about US-Saudi relations. Staff, in response to phone calls, stopped the broadcast in the midst of Dr. Barrett's speech and played Christmas music! He details the lies that we all know were told by the Bush administration in leading the US to a global war on terror and all that has resulted including the shredding of the constitution, killer drones, torture, and the toppling of governments. In this episode I speak with Graeme MacQueen, author of the The 2001 Anthrax Deception: The Case for a Domestic Conspiracy. In this book, he provides evidence that the anthrax attacks and the 9/11 attacks, both of which scared the American people into war, were carried out by the same people – people highly placed in the U.S. government. Niels Harrit, PhD., was born in 1945. Since 1971, he has been associate professor at University of Copenhagen. He retired from the position in 2009 and is now emeritus. Thus, he has been a researcher and teacher in the Department of Chemistry for more than forty years and has published more than 60 peer-reviewed papers in the best scientific journals. The latest publications are about time-resolved X-ray spectroscopy of ultra-fast photochemical processes and multidimensional fluorescence spectroscopy. Since 2007 he has been actively involved in the global movement for 911-truth, demanding an independent investigation of the terror attacks on September 11th, 2001. He was the leading author of a scientific paper, published in April, 2009, describing the findings of active thermitic material in the dust from the collapses of the three (!) skyscrapers of World Trade Center. Over the years, Dr. Harrit has given more than 330 presentations on the collapses of the World Trade Center skyscrapers in Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Germany, Holland, France, Switzerland, Spain, United Kingdom, Canada, USA, China, Australia, Russia and Iceland.

Philosopher, David Ray Griffin, just published his 12th book on 9/11 Skepticism, Bush and Cheney: How They Ruined America and the World. In this book he writes about the effects of 9/11 (toppling of governments--Iraq, Afghanistan, Libya, and now Syria--, the shredding of the constitution, murder by drone, increased militarism and surveillance, Islamophobia, and the neocon threat to human survival, to name a few). Griffin calls on journalists and the public to stop hiding behind fear of being called a 'conspiracy theorist' and look at the evidence instead of promoting the miraculous fantasy of the official 9/11 story. In somewhat of a continuation of our previous episodes (363 & 364), Jim McLachlan and Mormon Matters host Dan Wotherspoon are joined by David Ray Griffin, a world-renowned philosopher and theologian specializing in process theology. Griffin has recently published a new book, God Exists But Gawd Does Not: From Evil to Atheism to Fine-Tuning, in which lays out the powerful the arguments against the existence of the omni-everything God of classical theism (what Griffin terms "Gawd"--pronounced as in "awed") yet challenges this as the only "God" possible to believe in and worthy of that title. Hence, in the second part of the book he presents and evaluates arguments for the existence of another type of God (that he labels in the book "God") that is the God of process theology, and very much like the Mormon God in terms of its rejection of creation ex nihilo, and its affirmations of a God who is powerful yet not omnipotent, who exists within a context of other pre-existing entities with whom God seeks to persuade to embody the greatest amount of life and experience possible for them. It's certainly a book well-grounded in the arguments of many, many other thinkers, with some technical philosophy/theology here and there, but ultimately it is a very accessible and readable overview of arguments for and against the existence of God, which is one of the key issue of the philosophy or religion, but also of many faith journeys, including Mormon ones. For those who find themselves in turmoil as older conceptions of God are falling away for them, this is a must-listen episode. There is a lot of terrific common sense here, as well as hints about lovely possible ways to re-engage with Deity as well as persons and the world around us.

David Ray Griffin will go down in history (assuming the future has a history) as the most important theologian and prophet of the latter part of the 20th and early 21st centuries. He is a philosopher/theologian who has written over 25 books on that topic. He wrote another dozen on 9/11 making him the premier scholar on the search for the truth behind 9/11. Richard Gage, AIA, is a San Francisco Bay Area architect and a member of the American Institute of Architects. He is the founding member of AE911Truth. He has been a practicing architect for over 20 years and has worked on most types of building construction, including numerous fire-proofed steel-framed buildings. Most recently he worked on the construction documents for a $400M mixed-use urban project with 1.2 million square feet of retail, parking structure, and 320,000 square feet of mid-rise office space—altogether about with 1,200 tons of steel framing. This episode of Visibility 9-11 welcomes back to the program long time 9-11 researcher Jim Hoffman.  Jim is a software engineer who has specialized in developing new algorithms, applications is computational geometry, and scientific visualization.   His work has been instrumental in significant new scientific discoveries and has been featured in articles in Nature, Scientific American, Science Digest and Science News. Jim's work on 9-11 has laid an early foundations for the 9-11 truth movement and his work is often cited by important figures in the 9-11 movement such as Dr. David Ray Griffin, Richard Gage and Dr. Steven Jones.  Focusing on what happened at the World Trade Center, Jim was one of the first people to point out facts surrounding the 3 building "collapses" on 9-11 including an extensive analysis of the Twin Towers and Building 7.  His excellent website, wtc7.net, was one of the first websites to seriously ask if explosives were used at the World Trade Center on 9-11.  wtc7.net has proved to be a timeless and valuable resource and, to this day, is waking up visitors to the site for the first time.  Jim also currently maintains and regularly updates 911review.com and 911research.com. Jim has also co-authored a book called Waking Up from Our Nightmare: The 9/11 Crimes in New York City with fellow 9-11 truth activist Don Paul.  These two gentlemen also produced a video together called 9/11 Guilt: The Proof is in Your Hands. Both of these works focus on the mountain of evidence that all three high rises on 9-11 were brought down with the aid of pre-planted explosives. Jim's work is ongoing and he continues to publish valuable essays on the destruction of the Twin Towers and Building 7.  His latest articles include Thermitic Pyrotechnics in the WTC Made Simple: Three Points of Active Thermitic Material Discovered in Dust from the 9/11 World Trade Center Catastrophe that Anyone Can Understand, and Explosives Found in World Trade Center Dust: Scientists Discover Both Residues And Un-ignited Fragments Of Nano-Engineered Thermitic Pyrotechnics In Debris From the Twin Towers. Jim Hoffman has also had a great impact on the 9-11 truth movement as a whole with his well-reasoned and documented critiques of popularly held myths within the movement itself.  Through extensive fact checking and analysis, Jim has been able to identify the weakest claims in the 9-11 movement and expose them as likely misinformation. Misinformation takes many forms but is generally information which has not been substantially proven and can be patently ridiculous on its surface, which is spread by well meaning people who don't take the time to do the research.  Over the years, a pattern has emerged by personalities who insist on promoting some of the worst information about 9-11 that one can find.  "No Planes" were used on 9-11, beams from space brought down the World Trade Center, or holograms and/or "TV fakery" was used instead of real planes at the WTC have all in one way or another been promoted by "Big Tent" advocates like Kevin Barrett, Jim Fetzer, Morgan Reynolds and others.  Interestingly enough, these weakest of links in the pool of 9-11 information have been the same "straw man" arguments that have been used time and again by the mainstream media to attack our movement and discredit us.  We at Visibility 9-11 think there are valuable clues to be found in these established patterns that would indicate a possible coordinated effort between disinformation specialists and the media to discredit our legitimate arguments and evidence. This episode begins with an audio clip from a speech by Dr. William Pepper from June 2006.  At the conference in Chicago, 9/11 Revealing the Truth, Reclaiming our Future, Dr. Pepper clearly warns the 9-11 truth movement about infiltration by specialists in disinformation and even gives an example of how he was duped during his research into the assassination of MLK.  I was present during this speech and Dr. Pepper's words had a great impact on me, which inspired the production of my Visibility 9-11 COINTELPRO Special Report in early 2007, where I interviewed both Jim Hoffman and Dr. Pepper on this topic.  Visibility 9-11 also produced a newsletter entirely devoted to this topic, it's history and manifestations in October of that same year.  This is must reading if you are to understand how disinformation is being used to discredit YOU. One of the main goals we have at Visibility 9-11 is to educate our listeners and ourselves about all aspects of the September 11th tragedy.  To this end, we are taking on a more active role in addressing this important issue.  In fact, we believe the issue of disinformation to be the most important issue that each of us face as 9-11 activists.  As blogger Arabesque has pointed out many times, the “Official Story” is itself disinformation and must be regarded as such.  Ultimately, we are the ones in the street and on the blogs and forums who will have to face the ridicule if our facts are not straight and if we are to be successful, we must learn to identify the disinformation and insert caution into your activism. As pointed out by my guest on this program, it is agreed that central to the various themes of disinformation are the "no jetliner" claims, especially the "no 757" claims for the attack on the Pentagon.  In spite of substantial resources being poured into books and videos which claim that there was no airliner crash at the Pentagon on 9-11, Jim Hoffman has published extensive work which would bring these claims into question.  Careful examination of Jim's work reveals a different picture of the Pentagon attack than the "no jetliner" advocates.  We at Visibility 9-11 acknowledge that there are many valid reasons for us to believe the "no jetliner" claims.  However, a closer look reveals the real possibility that the event at the Pentagon has been manipulated from the start through the use of "official" and un-offical sources. This program takes a closer look at "Citizen Investigation Team" (CIT) and it's biggest promoter Pilots for 9-11 Truth and their latest effort to advance the "no jetliner" theory. Their new video, National Security Alert, which is being aggressively promoted on the internet and at public events, alleges that not only did the Boeing jet not strike the Pentagon, but flew over it at the last minute in an elaborate deception that not a single witness has claimed to see, and, contradicts the testimony of hundreds of eyewitnesses in the area. Two contradictory statements cannot both be true. These contradictions show, therefore, that individuals and agencies articulating the official story of 9/11 have made many false statements. Congress and the press clearly should ask which of the contradictory statements are false and why they were made. This book is purely factual, simply laying out the fact that these internal contradictions exist. As such, the book contains no theory. When theologian David Ray Griffin turned his attention to this topic in his book The New Pearl Harbor (2003), he helped give voice to a disquieting rumble of critiques and questions from many Americans and people around the world about the events of that day. Were the military and the FAA really that incompetent? Were our intelligence-gathering agencies really in the dark about such a possibility? In short, how could so much go wrong at once, in the world's strongest and most technologically sophisticated country? Both the government and the mainstream media have since tried to portray the 9/11 truth movement as led by people who can be dismissed as "conspiracy theorists" able to find an outlet for their ideas only on the internet. Interview with David Ray Griffin (67) about his book 'The New Parl Harbor,' in which he attacks with facts the offical account of the assault on the World Trade Center-towers and the Pentagon-building. Griffin has been for over 30 years professor of Philosophy of Religion at the Claremont School of Theology in California. He is author and editor of more than 20 books. The human rights lawyer and Professor Emeritus Richard Falk of Princeton University, writes in the foreword of the book: 'this is a disturbing book, depicting a profound crisis of political legitimacy for the most powerful sovereign state in the history of the world... It is rare, indeed, that a book has this potential to become a force of history.' Although more than 100.000 copies of 'The New Pearl Harbor' have been sold in The USA, the corporate mainstream press boycots the book. I interviewed professor Griffin in Amsterdam on 8 september 2006, after the translation of his book into Dutch. My first question was why and when he did start doubting the official version of 9/11?

Webster Tarpley and David Ray Griffin traveled to Italy to speak in person. Professor Steven Jones, of Brigham Young University, was scheduled to speak, but because he was recently suspended, he could not have access to the university computer that he needed, so he sent a video for them to show. On this, the second anniversary of the 9/11 Commission report, Visibility 9-11 welcomes professor emeritus at the Claremont School of Theology Dr. David Ray Griffin.  Dr. Griffin is the author of over two dozen books which include The New Pearl Harbor;  Disturbing Questions About the Bush Administration and 9/11 and The 9/11 Commission Report;  Omissions and Distortions.  Dr. Griffin also has a new book out, which he touches on briefly, called Christian Faith and the Truth Behind 9/11:  A Call to Reflection and Action.

Carol Brouillet has been a major activist since 9/11/2001 in getting out the word about the 9/11 cover-up. The Green party asked Carol Brouillet to run for Congress and she is doing that on a platform of 911 truth and impeachment. There are several other Congressional candidates who have similar platform-- Sandor Hicks in NY, Robert Bowman (sp) in Florida who's been speaking up about 9/11 and calling it treason. Craig Hill in Vermont.Brouillet helped develop the very popular "Deception Dollars" which resemble real dollars and have websites on them where people can get information about the details of the deceptions of the US Government story and evidence about what really happened. She also organized the first San Francisco Independent Inquiry of the tragic events of 9/11/01 and has worked tirelessly organizing demonstrations, selling books, pamphlets, speaking to groups, etc., etc.. Brouillet says that because the media (both corporate & independent) hasn't covered the issues of questions about the official US Government's version of what happened on 9/11 it is important to be creative in using film, art, deception dollars--whatever possible-- to inform people. Europeans are much more aware that the official US Government story is not true. Recently the US press is beginning to report on the 9/11 cover-up. Since actor Charlie Sheen recently spoke on CNN an online poll done by CNN revealed that 84% of people who responded thought there was a cover-up. In the SF Chronicle in mid- April, there was an article with a subtitle of "9/11-Inside Job?", including a photo and report by David Ray Griffin who calls the 9/11 Commission Report a "511 page lie". More films are coming out as well.Since fear is constantly encouraged and fed and so many people (including those in the peace and justice movements) are afraid to look at the reality of their government partly because it brings up the deep questions of who they are, it's even more important to have many types of media looking at the issue. Brouillet believes that the fear and psychological barriers, not the lack of evidence, keep the truth from coming out. Comedy is good for getting around that. Brouillet was behind the film "Behind Every Bush There's a Terrorist". She suggests we should get rid of those who support lack of freedoms and the false securities of Homeland Security to protect the elite from everyone else, while "real" security is good health, access to food and shelter, meeting basic needs. If we re-directed the budget away from the military to meet basic needs we could have a paradise. She thinks that what we see now is a "transnational fascism" and impeachment would be good to redeem ourselves in the eyes of the international community that sees the US population putting up with our government. Our hope lies in the grassroots movements to recognize how we're manipulated and take things into our own hands. The refusal of something like 200 cities to follow the Patriot Act is one example of that. Journalists and politicians haven't spoken up because it's threatening to the system and therefore most terrifying for them. They have, in fact, suffered negative consequences.Brouillet says the Peace Movement is finally beginning to open up to look at the official story of 9/11 as untrue.
