Dive into the darkest corners of reality with Walter Sterling, filling in for Lionel. This all-night radio program challenges the comforting delusion that Americans cannot keep big secrets, proving that major conspiracies—like lizard men and UFOs—must be true. We tackle explosive, out-there theories: the 9/11 controlled demolition, including the alleged role of figures like Cheney and Wolfowitz, and the fate of gold bullion rumored to have been stored beneath the World Trade Center. Unpack the claim that the JFK assassination was entirely staged using special effects bladders. We also dive into secret missions, including Apollo missions that allegedly recovered the "Mona Lisa" alien on the moon, and the truth behind Bell Labs buying up most of Roswell, New Mexico. Plus, uncover alleged financial and governmental corruption, questioning why road tolls persist long after municipal bonds are paid off, and exposing the sinister "conspiracy" surrounding chronic pain management that allegedly forces patients into costly procedures instead of prescribing cheap, effective medication. Tune in for conflict, drama, and highly addictive wacky news in our "Florida Stories" segment. Get ready for the secrets They don't want you to know. Learn more about your ad choices. Obama as Gorbachev and Trump as Yeltsin: How America is Like the Soviet Union Before Its Collapse

Keen On Democracy

Play Episode Listen Later Nov 13, 2025 46:12

We've done shows before on how contemporary America resembles late-stage Soviet society. But none quite as intriguing as with the Russian-born, US-based journalist Mikhail Zygar. In The Dark Side of the Earth, his new history of the Soviet Union's demise, Zygar underlines the moral exhaustion of its citizens. People no longer believed in anything, he reports on the collapse of this vast Euro-Asian empire. And that's the analogy Zygar makes with contemporary America which, he suggests, is equally exhausted. From the Soviet Union to the United States, a descent into a morally bankrupt nihilism defines the end of empire. Zygar even identifies the idealistic Obama with Gorbachev and the pugnacious Trump with Yeltsin, implying that a self-styled Putin-like “savior” lurks in the dark shadow of the American future. 1. Putin's Russia is worse than the Soviet Union The Soviet Union had dozens of political prisoners in the 1970s; Putin's Russia has thousands. Putin threatens the West with nuclear weapons far more aggressively than Soviet leaders ever did. What we thought was a victory over totalitarianism proved short-lived—Putin has built something more oppressive than what collapsed.2. The 1991 coup failed because of one woman History turns on ordinary people, not just great men. Emma Yazov, wife of the Soviet Defense Minister, spent three days crying in her husband's office, demanding he withdraw tanks from Moscow and resign from the junta. On the third day, he did. Her belief in democracy defeated the KGB and the Soviet military.3. Soviet citizens stopped believing after 1968 The Soviet invasion of Czechoslovakia killed whatever faith remained in communism. Afterward, Soviet people became perhaps the most cynical on earth, practicing “internal immigration”—pretending to participate in official life while living secret, clandestine private lives. When no one believes in an empire's ideology, collapse becomes inevitable.4. Solzhenitsyn's ideas shaped both Putin and the American New Right The author of The Gulag Archipelago evolved from Soviet dissident to fierce critic of liberal democracy. He wanted to preserve the Soviet empire by replacing communist ideology with Orthodox Christianity—precisely what Putin is attempting now. His attacks on Western liberalism's “weakness” and “woke culture” have found new audiences among American conservatives.5. Dick Cheney's approach to Soviet collapse enabled Putin George H.W. Bush and James Baker believed preserving a democratic Soviet Union would create a reliable partner. Dick Cheney disagreed, preferring “15 little dictatorships instead of one mighty Soviet Union.” Cheney's view prevailed. Without a Marshall Plan for post-Soviet states, Russian nationalism flourished, and Putin portrayed the collapse as Western conspiracy—the foundation of his power today.Keen On America is a reader-supported publication. America's Republican Party has tried to sell its conservative values like accountants sell financial features.  The Left, allied with Islam sells its "hate America and the west" values like crusaders.  People never line up to follow accountants, they race to follow crusaders.  President Trump is a crusader, not an accountant.  People follow him.  To win, the GOP has to get comfortable about seeing itself as a Christian movement and only then will it win crusaders.  Learn more about your ad choices. This weekly broadcast examines current events from across the globe to learn what's happening in all areas of people activity. We cultivate Counter-Racist Media Literacy by scrutinizing journalists' word choices and using logic to deconstruct what is reported as "news." We'll use these sessions to hone our use of terms as tools to reveal truth, neutralize Racists/White people. #ANTIBLACKNESS In south Milwaukee County, a memorial was erected at the beach park where some of Sade C. Robinson's remains were discovered. Earlier this year, there was ferocious and Racist opposition to having this memorial in Cudahy - a Racially Restricted Region with a substantially smaller population of black people than the neighboring city of Milwaukee. The so-called government shutdown lurches into it's second month. A judge ordered Pres. Trump to fully fund SNAP benefits to feed millions of US citizens. The president appealed. The FAA began canceling flights to compensate for the lack of air traffic controllers. This is an ominous signal of what could happen as the "holiday" seasons intensifies. We'll also recognize the passing of the former Vice President Dick Cheney and professional football player Marshawn Kneeland. Cheney was a part of the fraudulent war in Iraq and the pathetic response to Hurricane Katrina in 2005. Kneeland is a 24-year-old privileged black male who reportedly took his own life after his attempted family reported concerns about his mental health. #EndStageWhiteSupremacy INVEST in The COWS – http://paypal.me/TheCOWS Cash App: https://cash.app/$TheCOWS CALL IN NUMBER: 720.716.7300 CODE 564943#

The provided audio excerpts feature a speaker discussing a conspiracy theory connecting the recent crash of UPS Flight 2976 with the September 11, 2001, terrorist attacks and the simultaneous death of Dick Cheney. The speaker points out numerous "coded" correlations, such as the flight number matching the official 9/11 death toll (2976) and the altitude of the crash relating to the second plane that struck the World Trade Center (Flight 175). Furthermore, the speaker links the crash's location (Muhammad Ali airport) and the election of a Muslim mayor in New York City to an alleged pattern of intentional, scripted media events designed to produce irony and symbolism. The speaker rejects the idea that these connections are merely coincidence, suggesting instead that major events are pre-planned simulations orchestrated by the same powerful entities. That is a very interesting request, especially given how much of the source material is focused on examining patterns and connections. It is certainly helpful to isolate the specific claims and observations made by the speaker. Here are five quotes from the source material, followed by a list of the connections the speaker observed:"Flight 2976 UPS crash 2976 911 death toll." (This quote is the speaker's original tweet that drew the connection between the flight number and the number of 9/11 fatalities.)"It's not like the media is objectively just reporting stuff for us. Um, everything has an agenda." (This captures the speaker's core belief about mainstream media reporting.)"What we're suggesting here is this coincidence the result of intentionality? Was it scheduled? Was it faked?" (This clarifies the central question of the speaker's open inquiry into the event.)"To go outside of that box and include other possibilities such as pre-scheduled scripted events. Uh that would be something you would reach with an open mind, open inquiry outside their closed system." (This explains the speaker's view of what constitutes "open-mindedness" regarding major media events.)"No, the purpose of media is to conform you to their prefabricated events." (This defines the speaker's asserted primary function of media.)The speaker uses the term "coincidence" to describe a series of connections between the UPS Flight 2976 crash and the 9/11 events, suggesting that these connections indicate "intentionality," "scheduling," or "scripting".The specific connections noted are:Flight Number/Death Toll Match: The flight number, 2976, matches the official 9/11 death toll (2,976).Altitude Correlation: The plane reached 175 ft. This number correlates with United Airlines Flight 175, which was the second plane to hit the World Trade Center on 9/11.Airport/Hijacker Name: The crash occurred near the Muhammad Ali airport. Muhammad Ata was the lead hijacker in the 9/11 attacks.Contemporaneous Terror Plot: There was a breaking terror plot in Dearborn, Michigan, involving individuals named Muhammad Ali and Muham Mount Moot.Fatalities in Wiki: At one point, the total fatalities listed on the Wiki page for the event was 911 (though the speaker notes it had previously been 411).Dick Cheney's Timing: The crash occurred on the same day that Dick Cheney died. Cheney is noted to have a historical association with 9/11.Visual Symbolism (Plane Hitting Building): The plane crashed into a building, which the speaker notes is reminiscent of the Pentagon or the Twin Towers, along with the subsequent dramatic flames.Visual Symbolism (Faces in Smoke): The side view of the explosion in the Wikipedia article looked like a giant cat face. This is compared to a famous example of a devil face seen in the smoke photography of 9/11.Political/Irony Theme: The crash followed Zohan winning the mayoralty of New York City. This led to a flood of 9/11 imagery and people noticing the irony of New York electing a Muslim mayor followed by a plane hitting a building.5 Selected QuotesList of Coincidences and Connections

Dick Cheney, architect of the Iraq War, died on November 3rd. The next day, democratic socialist Zohran Mamdani won New York's mayoral race. Col. Lawrence Wilkerson, Colin Powell's former Chief of Staff, calls the timing symbolic of America's potential turning point. Speaking from inside the Bush administration, Wilkerson delivers a scathing account of how Cheney became "co-president," systematically lied about Iraqi WMDs, and led the nation into an illegal war. He explains why Powell's UN presentation was built on false intelligence, how the administration abandoned international law and authorized torture, and why Obama failed to hold anyone accountable. "We should have all been tried for war crimes," Wilkerson states. From the lies that killed a million Iraqis to complicity in Gaza's genocide, this is essential viewing on American empire and accountability.

From the 1970s onward, he held several powerful posts as White House chief of staff, a Wyoming congressman, Secretary of Defense, and a private-sector oil executive. But Cheney will be remembered most of all for his eight years as Vice President under George W. Bush, when he exerted his influence to invade Iraq in 2003 and impressed his ideas about executive authority and conduct, ignoring Congress, the Constitution, and international law. The Iraq war became an intractable calamity. Even today, the country is not considered a healthy democracy. Cheney's idea of the "unitary executive" is now being put into practice once more by Donald Trump, an unintended consequence of Dick Cheney's enduring influence. Historian Jeremi Suri is our guest. Former Vice President and political mover-and-shaker, Dick Cheney, died from complications of pneumonia and cardiac and vascular disease yesterday. He passed in peace, surrounded by his family, who lauded him as a “good man” and a “noble giant.” In reality, Cheney's legacy will far outlive him as the man responsible for manufactured wars that have killed, injured, and displaced millions of innocent people abroad, and who worked diligently to take away freedoms from Americans and lay the groundwork for fascist authoritarianism in the U.S. The bottom line is that Cheney was a dangerous war-mongering lunatic. He was a sociopath who teamed up with other sociopaths to establish the Neocon Deep State. Listen to Ground Zero with Clyde Lewis M-F from 7-10 pm, pacific time on groundzeroplus.com. Arch-war criminal and former Vice-President Dick Cheney has died. A consummate DC insider who was White House Chief-of-Staff, Defense Secretary, CEO of Halliburton, and Vice President, he shaped and reshaped the GOP and the conservative movement. Responsible for the Global War on Terror and the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq, he promoted the invasion of Iraq based on blatant lies. Brown University estimated over 4.5 million people died in the post-9/11 forever wars. He also changed government policy on "enhanced interrogation" (i.e. torture) and mass surveillance. And despite his redemption by liberals in recent years because of his opposition to Donald Trump, his politics and polities paved the way for Trump. In this episode, we discuss Dick Cheney, Trump and fanboy liberals redeeming Cheney. Today, we don't mourn Dick Cheney, only his victims. ----------------------------

It's Wednesday, November 5th, A.D. 2025. This is The Worldview in 5 Minutes heard on 140 radio stations and at www.TheWorldview.com.  I'm Adam McManus. (Adam@TheWorldview.com) By Jonathan Clark Vulnerable Asian and African girls kidnapped, abused, converted to Islam Christian women and girls are easy targets for persecution in South Asian and African nations. Last Tuesday, a panel at the World Evangelical Alliance's 14th General Assembly shared details. For example, girls in Nigeria, Sudan, and the Democratic Republic of the Congo are often kidnapped, abused, and forced to convert to Islam. Even if they escape, they often face rejection after returning to their families, communities, or churches.  The panel called for better care for the women and girls subjected to such persecution. In Matthew 25:40, Jesus said, “Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did it to one of the least of these My brethren, you did it to Me.” Finnish stateswoman on trial again for affirming Biblical sexuality Speaking of persecuted women, a Christian woman in Finland is on trial for posting online about her biblical views on marriage and sexuality.  Last Thursday, the country's Supreme Court heard the case of Päivi Räsänen, a 65-year-old Finnish Member of Parliament. The state prosecution of her religious expression continues despite lower courts clearing her of wrongdoing. Listen to her recent comments to CitizenGo.  RÄSÄNEN: “This has been my calling. This has been some kind of privilege, to defend these very crucial values, to defend the freedom of speech and freedom of faith, because that is what we need just now. And also to bring the teachings of the Bible in public.” Lutheran Bishop Juhana Pohjola is also on trial in the case. He said, “I think it is important that Christians continue to be able to defend Christian marriage and the Christian view of humanity without fear.” In 2 Thessalonians 1:8, the Apostle Paul wrote “Therefore, do not be ashamed of the testimony of our Lord, nor of me His prisoner, but share with me in the sufferings for the Gospel according to the power of God.” 40 Days for Life has saved 25,000 babies from abortion 40 Days for Life completed its latest campaign on Sunday. Pro-lifers mobilized for vigils in 671 cities worldwide for the last 40 days.  Shawn Carney, president of the pro-life group, said, “Thanks to your prayers and God's generosity, we continue to receive reports of babies who were scheduled to be aborted--but are instead alive and well!” In some cities, vigils are continuing year-round through the 40 Days for Life 365 initiative. Since 2007, 40 Days for Life has saved over 25,000 babies from abortion.  Former Vice President Dick Cheney died In the United States, former Vice President Dick Cheney died on Monday at the age of 84. His family said in a statement that he died from complications of pneumonia and cardiac and vascular disease.  The statement noted, “Dick Cheney was a great and good man who taught his children and grandchildren to love our country, and to live lives of courage, honor, love, kindness, and fly fishing.” Sadly, Cheney supported homosexual faux marriage because his daughter, Mary Cheney, married her lesbian lover, Heather Poe. Cheney was known as one of the most influential vice presidents in U.S. history. He served as vice president under both terms of President George W. Bush. He was a key yet controversial leader in the “War on Terror” following the 9/11 terrorists attacks. Cheney was a member of the United Methodist Church. He was also the first Methodist vice president to serve under a Methodist president. U.S. Episcopal Church shrinking for anti-Biblical stances The U.S. Episcopal Church released its 2024 Parochial Report last month. And it's not good news. Not surprisingly, the mainline Protestant denomination reported fewer baptisms and a drop in the total number of parishes -- no doubt the result of the Episcopal Church's rejection of Biblical authority and an embrace of sodomy and baby killing through abortion. Worship attendance did increase last year, but is still down compared to a decade ago. At its rate of decline, the denomination could have no Sunday attendance in 30 years. Deuteronomy 4:2 warns, “Do not add to what I command you and do not subtract from it, but keep the commands of the Lord your God that I give you.” Slight decrease in U.S. obesity rate And finally, Gallup reports obesity rates are declining in the U.S. The adult obesity rate stands at 37% this year. That's down from a high of 39.9% in 2022 but up from 25.5% in 2008. While obesity rates have declined recently, diagnoses of diabetes have reached an all-time high of 13.8%. That's up slightly from 10.6% in 2008. The use of weight loss injectable drugs has risen sharply over the past year. The popularity of these weight loss drugs is connected with lower obesity rates but has not lessened the rate of diabetes diagnoses.  Close And that's The Worldview on this Wednesday, November 5th, in the year of our Lord 2025. Follow us on X or subscribe for free by Spotify, Amazon Music, or by iTunes or email to our unique Christian newscast at www.TheWorldview.com.  I'm Adam McManus (Adam@TheWorldview.com). David Waldman, Greg Dworkin, and Dems are back, baby. Now, if you are tuning in to KITM today, you are probably wanting to know when, what, where, how, and why.  When? Yesterday, and over the last 9 months or so, voters have determined that they need to fix things, and universally that Democrats were the ones to do that. What? Dems won in red and blue areas, in big and little races. Where? New Hampshire, New Jersey, Bucks County, Wake Forest, Edison… everywhere. In Cincinnati, JD Vance's brother is a loser.  You might have heard about places like California, and New York City, where the Mamdanimentum has become a Mamdanimandate. You got to love Virginia, where even the reddest counties turned blue, including, of course, home of Kagro in the Morning World Headquarters, Loudoun County. Democrats could gerrymander blue states bluer, but so could Republicans. How? The Hispanic vote, obviously, makes a lot more sense in a party that isn't cracking their skulls daily. A party whose motto is "Resistance is just asking for it." shouldn't expect much support from women. Antisemitic comedy is antisemitic. Why? Trump. The rest of them suck too, of course.  If the new Dems do a good job, the contrast will be harsher come midterms. Gops aren't the only ones smelling the onions and mustard this morning. Border Patrol agent Gregory Lairmore still has BMT PTSD. Greg Bovino says he may never recover from that punch to his blutbewußtsein, but the judge says he'll just have to soldier on. Trump still can't attack Portland, but Indianapolis wants some. Hey, guess which Dick is still dead? Cheney! Dick Cheney did horrible things when he was alive but was never the kind to allow a cardiac arrest to obstruct his skullduggery.

Roman Emperors were famous for many things, including their often referenced apparent insanity. Part of this was a result of their upbringing and megalomania, and another part was probably metal poisoning. Either way, Caligula's appointing of a horse as consul, Domitian's ascent to godhood and his staged naval battles, Commondus' rigged games, Elagabalus' and Carinus' appointment of prostitutes and dregs to office, and Diocletian's persecution of those the mob detested, are all examples of this insanity. However, how is any of this different than what we see happening today? Biden's appointment of a mentally ill crossdresser to the DOE, the half-nude rainbow parties on the White House lawn, and his crackhead son nearby, are a Democrat example of the insane emperor motif, not to mention the dementia, drugs, cue cards, and military erraticism. Republicans may like to think this doesn't apply to them, but they would be mistaken. Trump's admin is not only plagued with mental decline, drugs, cue cards, and erratic military aggression, but parties with half-naked women, arrogant allegiance to a foreign power, and persecution of citizens in favor of foreign nations and random Christians in Nigeria. Carinus even appointed a forger to sign his papers, not unlike Biden's autopen or Trump's signing of whatever Stephen Miller hands him. This is all on par with countries appointing morbidly obese health ministers. It's all about intimidation, psych-warfare, and hubris, the latter of which the Romans said was the machine of tyranny. If hubris was the machine, then willing citizens to this tyranny are the fuel. But most are willing to wear their underwear on the outisde and change them every thirty minutes for the glorious new leader. *The is the FREE archive, which includes advertisements. Tim Sheehy.First, they examine the long and influential career of Dick Cheney, from his early days in the Ford administration to serving as Defense Secretary during the Gulf War and later as one of the most consequential vice presidents in U.S. history. There will be considerable debate on the right over his legacy in the Iraq War and his endorsement of Kamala Harris in 2024. Jim also tells us about a special dinner he had with the Cheneys shortly after the 2004 election.Next, they slam former Attorney General Eric Holder for his latest comments clearly aimed at delegitimizing the U.S. Supreme Court, all because he's frustrated by the right-leaning decisions coming from the court. Holder is also among the people urging Democrats to gerrymander their congressional even more heading into the 2026 midtermsFinally, they recoil at the vile voicemail left for Sen. Sheehy by a woman who is running for local office in Montana. In the message, she hopes Sheehy contracts pancreatic cancer and dies quickly because he supported the GOP's One Big Beautiful Bill.       Former Vice President Dick Cheney has died at the age of 84.  Yes, he loved America and yes, he loved war.  And yes, this podcast host once upon a time believed in what he was selling us.  But mostly, his death is a reminder of what we used to be forced to vote for.  As VP, Dems hated him almost as much as they do Trump.  In death, they will remember him as a great steward of the neo con deep state.     Bernie Sanders appears on a podcast and pretty much predicts the Democrat party is over and will splinter into two parties.   Ben Shapiro, on his podcast, hammers Tucker Carlson... we'll play a clip.    Former Senator Joe Manchin gives the clearest statement yet on why Dems are in trouble while a crazy dem in Montana running for office leaves the most vile voicemail you've ever heard for Montana Senatory Tim Sheahy.     Left Tackle Josh Simmons is back with the Chiefs.   I"m going there.... new KU star Darryn Peterson looks a lot like Michael Jordan.    And the Royals are sending a survey out to the fans about a new ballpark and that can only mean one thing.

On November 3, 2025, Dick Cheney — the former Vice President of the United States, Secretary of Defense, and one of the most powerful and polarizing figures in American political history — died at the age of 84 at his home in Wyoming. Cheney was a dominant force in Washington for more than four decades, shaping U.S. policy through intellect, discipline, and an unyielding belief in American power. Though his life was marked by controversy — from his central role in the Iraq War to the expansion of executive authority after 9/11 — Cheney's influence on the modern presidency and national security apparatus remains unparalleled in American history. David Waldman brings us a Throwback Tuesday KITM in which we explore the things that we did not throw back hard enough. There was a time when bigotry, dishonesty, inhumanity, and megalomaniacal cruelty had a craft to it. There was a sense of pride and effort in underhanded Machiavellian scheming that you just can't find anymore. We'll probably never see a Dick like Cheney again.  Donald K. Trump destroys thousands of lives, the graft just rolls in, while he hardly lifts a finger. Trump wants to abolish the filibuster because he could then avoid the effort of circumventing it. Remember when David recommended filibuster reform? Back then we were all into affordable health care concerns, gun deaths and such. Simpler times. Turns out that all the lead poisoning didn't keep them from voting Trump in, let's hope the concussive blast waves help in the midterms. Let's revisit those years between Trump terms during which the SOB did not go to jail. If it was anybody else, he'd be there today. We are all left to scratch our heads, connecting the dots, following the money, wondering how it all went wrong.
