On June 10, 1991, Eleven-year-old Jaycee Dugard, wearing her favorite all-pink outfit, was walking to her school bus stop. When she was halfway there, a gray car approached her. She figured the car was pulling over to ask her for directions. The man driving the car, Phillip Greg Garrido, rolled down the window, and tased Jaycee unconscious … and abducted her. Then we dive into the infamous Duke Lacrosse Scandal. In 2006, the school's lacrosse team threw a party where they invited exotic dancers to perform. After a verbal altercation the women left. But here's where the stories differ. The women claim they were raped but the boys say nothing happened... when police finally dig into what happened that night - it becomes clear this was a frame job rather than a rape.Sources:https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kidnapping_of_Jaycee_Dugard#Background_of_Dugard_family https://www.denverpost.com/2019/08/26/jaycee-dugard-kidnapping-story-decade-later/ https://www.abc10.com/article/news/history/jaycee-dugard-abducted-30-years-ago/103-398d6351-a266-4ad6-bda9-da1af86d560d ESPN 30 for 30 Season 3 Episode 6 “Fantastic Lies”https://www.vanityfair.com/news/2016/03/duke-lacrosse-case-fantastic-lies-documentaryhttps://www.huffpost.com/entry/duke-lacrosse-rape-espn-30-for-30_n_56e07e33e4b065e2e3d486f7https://www.businessinsider.com/espn-30for30-documentary-duke-lacrosse-scandal-2016-3#even-duke-professors-say-that-leading-administrators-were-kept-in-the-dark-2https://www.vogue.com/article/fantastic-lies-espn-30-for-30-duke-lacrosse-caseSupport the show (https://www.buymeacoffee.com/badsign)

In 2006, three Duke University lacrosse players were accused of rape. The men were presumed guilty by the much of school's student body, the faculty, and when the story became national news, the country. If convicted, the accused men faced decades of mandatory jail time without the possibility of parole. The District Attorney who was trying the case was determined to put them away at all cost and was willing to break the law to do it. But the men were innocent. The victim had lied. The question was, would the men be able to prove. It. In related-ish news. These lacrosse players had the filthiest bathroom on Earth. There is photographic evidence. And we go in on it. Seriously, are you even laxing, bro? This week Kyle and Matthew sit down with lax rat and @midnight alum Adam Toltzis to talk about lacrosse! … after about 20 minutes of nonsense about working at @midnight. The gang discusses the fascinating origins of the sport and explore why some sports have such strong regional ties. Adam recounts how his body adjusted for the better after retiring from the sport. Plus, they discuss why this obscure sport has such a bad rap. There is some discourse on douches and how it is unfair to blame a whole sport for the actions of a group of dipshits who enjoy it. (It's a real “the more you know” moment.)  Kyle, Matt and Nat learn what NARPS are. Kyle and Adam unpack the Mighty Ducks franchise. We learn Burnside is a "porpoise boy." Also, Adam shows them that lacrosse players have some of the greatest (i.e. most ridiculous) names in the history of sports. Come for the talk about brony vore porn, stick around for an interesting chat about an often misunderstood sport.
