He is caucasian, with blond hair and green eyes. He speaks French fluently. He is believed to be using aliases that include Jason D. Brown, Derek Brown, Greg Johnson, Harline Johnson, Greg Harline Johnson, John Brown and Jay Brown. Authorities urge citizens not to engage with him but call for help immediately. August 22nd, 2011. Chilliwack, British Columbia, Canada. Corey Scherbey was found dead in his home on August 22nd, 2011. The RCMP initially investigated his death as a homicide, but in 2014, Corey's death was declared an accidental overdose. Corey's family believes he was murdered. November 16, 1989. Billingham, Stockton-on-Tees, England. Julie Hogg, a single mother from Billingham in Northern England, disappeared in the early hours of November 16th, 1989. She had been dropped off at her home by a coworker from her pizza delivery job. When her mother, Ann, couldn't reach her by phone around 7:30am, she knew something was wrong. She would find Julie around 80 days later, deceased where police had said they had already searched for her. Julie's killer would escape a conviction twice, then go on to brag about how he could never be convicted of Julie's murder because of a double jeopardy law. January 16, 2009. Chattanooga, Tennessee. In October 2019, Angel Bumpass was found guilty of first-degree felony murder and especially aggravated robbery for the 2009 murder of Franklin Bonner. Her fingerprints were found at the crime scene, the main evidence leading to her conviction. The problem is, Angel was just thirteen years old when Bonner was murdered. May 24, 2012. Bismarck, North Dakota. Eric Haider was working as a top grounds man for a plumbing and heating company. After the crew he was working with returned from lunch, Eric was never seen again. Eric's family begged and pleaded with police to help find him. His coworkers said maybe he had walked away from work after his vacation request was denied. His family knew he never left the jobsite. Eric was found three years later. December 6, 2006. Golan Heights, Israel. On December 6, 2006, the body of 13-year-old student, Tair Rada, was found bloodied and slumped in a bathroom stall at Nofey Golan High School in Golan Heights, Israel. Roman Zadorov, a 29-year-old immigrant from post-Soviet Moldova and custodian at the school confessed to the murder and was later convicted for Tair Rada's murder and perverting the course of justice. Zadorov's conviction came into question when a lack of physical evidence connecting him to the crime, doubts over his confession, and the reenactment of the murder were deemed to be contradictory.All caught up on Gen Why episodes? Flora Fire ////// 538 Part 1 of 1 www.TrueCrimeGarage.com         The headlines were horrific. One read - “4 sisters perish in Flora fire.” On Monday, November 21, 2016 the tiny town of Flora, Indiana woke up to a terrible tragedy. At 3:30 AM a family of five woke up in a nightmare. Unfortunately only one member of the family made it out of the house that morning. Later it was determined that the fire was intentionally set and the reason that four beautiful little girls lost their lives was arson. Now it's been five years and here in the Garage we are getting very frustrated with the handling of this case. The investigation involves multiple agencies, overseen by the Indiana State Police. An agency that we have always had a lot of faith in. But we have been told by the ISP that this investigation is a “full court press” to find justice for this family and the community. Early in the morning on October 12th, 2002 a body of Gloria Gaxiola was found on the side of the road. She was initially believed to be the victim of a hit and run, but police quickly determined that what actually happened was much more horrific.The body of the young woman was dragged behind a car for over 4 miles before being left on the side of the road. The murder seemed to be deeply personal, but the case was cold for years before investigators would catch a break.This week we will discuss the crime, the victim, and possible motives for why this atrocious crime happened.
