It's the last month of 2020 (yay!!), so it's fitting that we are back to recording another socially distanced episode of GBNTB. Andrew joins over the phone as we start off with a look back at November which featured a lot of non-hoppy beer offerings, along with the destruction of their outdoor garden tent by Mother Nature. We then look ahead into what December 2020 will bring, plus an update on the progress at the new location. Next, Pete Kurzweg calls in to give us an update on his 3 spots (Independent Brewing Company, Hidden Harbor & Lorelei), how they are adapting to the increasing COVID numbers/change of season, and to discuss the closing of Shelton Brothers importing and how that will affect his businesses. We finish the episode with another round of Watch, Listen, Learn!Intro & Outro music by: Kabbalistic VillageBreak music by: Kevin MacLeod
It's officially Summer! Hope everyone is doing well and kicking back with some refreshing beers. We are excited to bring you another episode of Good But Not the Best to hopefully aid in that relaxation. We kick things off with an update on our acronym guesses from one of the reviews we discussed last episode and a new review/acronym that came in after we had already recorded the June show. That discussion leads us into Andrew giving us an update on the Underscore series, and a general look back at June 2020 in the world of Dancing Gnome, which includes an unfortunate mishap that robbed us of another Barrel Aged Black Clouds release. After a quick look ahead into July 2020, we are joined by our guest, Pete Kurzweg of the Independent Brewing Company, Hidden Harbor and Lorelei. We start off by talking about COVID and how his businesses have handled the stay at home orders and their plan for re-opening, followed by a great discussion on beer in general, the Pittsburgh market, and how he would like to see the Pittsburgh market evolve. We end the show with another round of Watch, Listen, Learn.Intro & Outro music by: Kabbalistic VillageBreak music by: Joseph McDade

Sadly we all know you can never truly escape your nature, and our boys were born heroes. Haunting visions and dissapearances both human and economic begin to force into the concerns of our group, only to be stifled by the introduction of a brash sherrif named Chester Winterbottom. Accused of being harbingers of trouble and chaos to the quiet town, our heroes hope to clear their reputation and name from a recent killing of a community cornerstone, Perrin LaRue. Will our boys take kindly to this new protagonist, and thusly escape a hangmans gallow? How badly can a crime scene be contaminated from a bumbling wizard, a bullheaded Lord, and kleptopic rogue? Our four heroes are Marc Warnock as Estee Marc Torri, Jeremy Hutsell as Albert Shaw, Bryon Kozaczka as Kazaa Kingsley, and Robert Kegler as Chester Winterbottom. In our last episode our heroes stress their nautical knowledge, abandoning the wheel in a raging sea storm. The unavoidable crash leaves them face to face with the nefarious pirate Jay Esan; proprietor and defacto ruler of Hidden Harbor, a beautiful seaside island rampant with piracy. Faced with a proposition of asylum and clemency our boys find themselves confronting a mind reading stranger who has been a thorn in Esan's side. Our crew decide to handle the situation in the best way they can, without caution, reason, or understanding. Will Estee Marc Torri, Kazaa, and Lord Albert Shaw maintain their status as Heroes Of Gloommeadow, or give into the temptation of power only a raid on an orcish temple can provide? Our three heroes are Marc Warnock as Estee Marc Torri, Jeremy Hutsell as Albert Shaw and Bryon Kozaczka as Kazaa Kingsley. Mistress Penumbra and her minions Talon and The Red Wolf unleash their plan to take over Hidden Harbor and destroy the Femme Phantom and her gang once and for all!
All seems lost as each of the 12 major gangs in Hidden Harbor fall before Mistress Penumbra and her femme fatales and the city crumbles further into madness.
As our heroine recovers from near disaster and the city burns, Mistress Penumbra awakens a Soviet sleeper agent to use in her crusade to unseat all of Hidden Harbor's underworld bosses.
The Phantom confronts an old nemesis and witnesses a vision of Hidden Harbor's dark future.
Barbara, Kat, and Caspar watch as Hidden Harbor erupts into chaos, prompting the heroine to concoct a dangerous plan to put a stop to the distructive violence threatening to make Mal Zuut's dark dream a reality. While one hero falls, another rises to the challenge of joining the Femme Phantom's crusade!
We're introduced to the Ghost of Hidden Harbor, a spirit that protects the innocent of Hidden Harbor. In a battle both real and psychological, our heroine defeats the Neighborhood Watch and arrives home just in time for a charity dinner at Wilson Manor. But things are not as they seem at Barbara Wilson's homestead.
Mobsters disrupt Barbara Wilson's charity event. What they want is more than the cash and jewels of Hidden Harbor's elite, but the Femme Phantom has something to say about that. Meanwhile wanted fugitives try to leave the country with the help of a Hidden Harbor gang boss but find themselves in dire straits. Our heroes go on the offensive.
The fate of Hidden Harbor is revealed!
