A hockey fan in Nova Scotia gave Tyler Kennedy all of his hockey cards. TK once traded hockey sticks with Evgeni Malkin! TK will give Austin a signed Sidney Crosby jersey if he grows out his mustache until Christmas. Who will play the longest and who retires first: Crosby, Malkin, Letang, or Alexander Ovechkin?

Brodes joins "Philadelphia Live" to Preview Flyers Penguins!!

Is it a failure of a season if the Penguins proceed to miss the playoffs after all of this? Another lopsided loss at home last night has them clinging to the final playoff spot in the Metro with the wild card race starting to look very messy. Missing the playoffs would be the fourth straight year of no postseason. There are individual success stories like Ben Kindel and the turnaround of Erik Karlsson, along with what we saw from Dan Muse in his first season on the bench. But finishing in the middle does nothing for this team and organization. Poni was surprised that Joe was outnumbered during the midday show thinking that this season would be a downer if they miss the playoffs. It doesn't sound like Dan Muse is wavering on his confidence as the Penguins' season enters the final stretch. On the midday show, Pomp gave the Penguins a 50/50 shot to make it. Former Penguin Tyler Kennedy joined the show. Are we starting to near the end for Kris Letang? TK thinks Letang still has some left, but he has to adapt his game a little bit. Tyler credited Erik Karlsson for letting the game come to him. TK said Letang and Karlsson are competitive to a point that both of them want to be the top dog. Tyler said the season is a failure if the Penguins miss the playoffs, regardless of what the preseason expectations were. Even though he's a hockey guy, TK predicted what the Pirates will do in 2026.

Adam Crowley and Dorin Dickerson react to the impact of the Penguins' young players in Tuesday's win over the New York Rangers.

In episode 308 of the Glass and Out Podcast we welcome Alan Letang, the Head Coach of the OHL's Sarnia Sting. Letang is still in the front 9 of his coaching career, and as you'll hear, when he decided that coaching was his chosen career post retirement, he immersed himself in all facets of the job. And it's paid off. After 2.5 seasons as an Assistant Coach in Owen Sound, he was promoted to the role of Head Coach. This would eventually lead him home to Sarnia, where he is getting set to lead the Sting for a 5th season, and one in which the expectations are high. Internationally, he has represented Canada multiple times, beginning as an Assistant Coach at the 2020 and 2023 World Junior Championships, as the Head Coach of Canada's entry at the Hlinka Gretzky Cup and finally as the Head Coach of Team Canada at the 2024 World Junior Championships. Listen as he shares his philosophy on setting players up for success after a mistake, finding the fine line between physicality and discipline, and how he's approaching the changing landscape of junior hockey.

Max said he gets asked more about the two goals in Game 7 to win the Stanley Cup Final than the shhhh move against the Flyers. Max said you can't read much into the Sidney Crosby rumors to another team.
