Wow was this rewarding. Lispector's cult following knows what it's talking about! her body of work is globally, universally acclaimed for an approach that truly feels singular. Listen in to hear how her harrowing childhood informs her writing. Together we'll dig deep into how stream of consciousness, figurative language and writing from the body all add to the genius. These slim novels are the kind of work that REALLY reward deeper analysis.

A massive dragon flew overhead, blocking out the sun momentarily and its sheer presence struck fear into the hearts of nearly everyone present, forcing them to panic and flee. After a bit of time, the heroes came back to their senses, but something changed in the Bakali. They began arguing with Snapjaw, and when they arrived at a river checkpoint, Snapjaw was taken by the Bakali guards. K'thriss and Elemier confronted the guards and tried to convince them to help. Bakali agreed but no one saw Snapjaw again. THey arrived at the Citadel of Karoc-Tor to find a massive encampment outside its walls. On one side the Bullywugs and on the other Bakali. The cult seems to be running things but the grunt work is completed by these two groups. With the appearance of a dragon, it has set everyone on edge. They send word back to Leosin Erlanthar, their Legion of Steele Akroatis or scout captain, then head toward the long houses. As Elemier tries to understand who is in charge of the Citadel when Rezmir is absent, the Bakali seem to ignore the question. There seems to be something off. They are led into the Citadel by Jamna and Garrith appearing as Bakali and are met inside by guards who show them to a room for recruits. After clearing it out they awoke cultists who were killed. In the morning the party began exploring the south western tower they were in, but Jamna went missing… About Tyranny of Dragons The Return of Tiamat An epic draconic adventure for levels 1-15 The forces of Tiamat, Queen of Evil Dragons, bring war to the Forgotten Realms. Lucan feels pulled in the direction of the store room by Mishakal, and discovers Elemier in the storeroom and the heroes finishing up combat with Bakali in the Strong Room! Jamna leans in as they are talking and lets them know that they need to get out of there before they all return. Turns out there is a secret tunnel! They follow it out and into the jungle, following a marked trail. After a day of traveling deeper into the jungle, they ran across some natural dangers, a shambling mound, and even quicksand before arriving at what seems to be a deserted camp. As they were investigating the camp, Bakali arrived and engaged in combat. The heroes plowed through them, and captured one. They discussed the area and their aversion to the cult, when the Bakali thought perhaps these heroes could assist his people in liberating themselves from the cultists. They end up working together and Snapjaw, the Bakali leader of sorts, leads the heroes toward the Citadel of Karac-Tor. En route they were attacked by more crocodiles than they have ever seen in person, it seems the swamp itself is trying to stop them. Will the heroes snake it out of the swamp alive? At this point it seems the cult is ready to blame anyone for the death of their member even if it means manufacturing a reason. The heroes negotiate a solution to have her brought to Gander and turned over to the authorities. They make their way on this last leg of the trip and aside from regular road hazards and inclement weather, make it to Gander, finally. They let Elowyn go and she decides to head for the Temple of Paladine in Palanthas. The heroes meet up with Jamna and are all introduced to Seto. They decide to work together as they all are trying to discover more about the Cult and what they are planning with the stolen loot. The Cult's wagons are going to be headed East, and the heroes learn of Lord Winterholm starting a building campaign to rebuild the road from Winterholm to Gander. Construction is already underway and the heroes join up with the High Road Charter Company. They are ambushed on the way to Carnath House, the drop off point for tradesmen and supplies for the construction, and overcome the Bullywug's. Once at the roadhouse they realize some of the crates, specifically the cults’ loot crates are being stored in a secured area. The heroes deal with one furious cultist who calls out Gunner and as tensions are high, Bog Luck, the half-ogre who runs the construction effort, suggested Gunner retire to his room rather than have the cultists kill him. As Soto and Garrick discover a secret portal in the secure room, Bakali erupts from within. The heroes all come to help fight off the Bakali, but with the sounds of battle evident and the already high tension with the cultists, what will the heroes do? Scott Matelic is an Indianapolis-born hip-hop producer and DJ whose sound emerges from the crate-digging traditions of DJ culture, blending sample-based production with soulful textures and psychedelic atmospheres. He began attracting international attention in the early 2000s, when his beats appeared on releases from Anticon Records, the influential California-based label known for issuing music that pushed hip-hop beyond mainstream conventions. Matelic's work was featured on prominent Anticon projects by Sole and Sage Francis. In 2004, Matelic released his debut album, Primitive Pessimist, through the Japanese label Tri Eight. Four years later, his music was issued on a compilation from the revered Japanese producer Nujabes. While his career has taken him beyond Indianapolis — he is now based in New York — Matelic's roots in the city remain central to his story. He was raised in a deeply musical household — his father, Ron Matelic, is a respected Indianapolis psychedelic rock musician known for his work with bands including Anonymous, J Rider, and Sir Winston and the Commons. That environment helped shape Scott's early musical sensibility and openness to genre-blurring experimentation. In recent years, Matelic has continued to build on his legacy through collaborations with Indianapolis artists, including rapper Sirius Blvck. In 2024, the two released the full-length album Daily Rituals of the Wild Heart. Alongside his production work, Matelic has long been respected as a DJ, with performances including a notable 2004 date at the Casbah in Broad Ripple alongside the iconic producer and DJ Diplo. With life often feeling so overly structured and focused on conforming, it's understandable that you could use a guide to help you reach your naturally wild, authentic self. Women are so fantastically, remarkably luscious and rich. Exuberent! Yet for so long we've been told our role is to hold that in and be a good girl, not seen or heard. Well my guest this week has made it her life's work to say, forget that! Holly Copeland , creator of the Inner Rewilding process, is a scientist, coach and healing practitioner who is devoted to rewilding the earth from the inside out. Knowing that the beauty we long for in the world begins with awakening to the peace and joy of our true nature, she skillfully supports others in coming home to themselves. On this guest episode, Holly shares her fascinating story of having an ecologist's perspective on how the inner path is critical to solving the global conservation and humanitarian crisis, finding our inner rewilding, and provides her modern mystical approach to awakening the self, and discovering frequency, The Ultimate Healer - Harnessing the power of light and sound to healBio:Holly Erin Copeland is a former ecologist turned guide to the wild within. Through her work in Inner Rewilding, she helps spiritual seekers, visionaries, and earth-conscious leaders return to the wild intelligence of their being. Rooted in modern non-dual awareness and the wisdom of the body, Holly creates sacred containers for deep healing and remembrance—where frequency, ceremony, somatic attunement, and presence converge. Her work is a love song to those ready to reawaken coherence between body, soul, and Earth. With a background in conservation biology and decades of spiritual practice, Holly blends science and mysticism into a truly integrative path. She is trained in Human Potential Coaching, Neuromeditation, Subtle Energy Meditation, Biofield Tuning, breathwork, Reiki, and ceremonial plant medicine guidance. She lives among the oaks in Nevada City, California, where she sings to the land, listens to the trees, and celebrates the beauty of this wild, precious life. Wildlife Photography in the Heart of New York with Jacqueline Emery and David Lei.Jacqueline Emery and David Lei are wildlife photographers and authors of Finding Flaco: Our Year with New York City's Beloved Owl. In this episode, we explore what it meant to follow Flaco day after day over the course of a year, the lessons his story holds for photographers and wildlife lovers, and how one bird captured the imagination of an entire city.On February 2, 2023, Flaco the Eurasian eagle-owl escaped from his enclosure at the Central Park Zoo and took to the skies of Manhattan. Captive his whole life, he seemed doomed in a city of glass towers, poisons, and noise. Yet against all odds, Flaco learned to hunt, fly, and thrive. For one improbable year, he became more than an owl. He became a symbol of freedom, resilience, and the fragile line between captivity and wildness.Notable Links:Finding Flaco: Our Year with New York City's Beloved OwlJacqueline Emery InstagramDavid Lei Instagram*****This episode is brought to you by Lexar. For almost 30 years, Lexar has been trusted as a leading global brand of memory solutions so they know firsthand just how quickly content is transforming our world.

Welcome to Season 2 of Everything Belongs! This season, we'll be exploring Richard's book Eager to Love chapter-by-chapter, and what better way to kick off a brand new season than with our friend, Mirabai Starr. In this episode, we're covering Chapter One: "What Do We Mean by 'Mysticism'?" This episode explores the themes of mysticism, spirituality, and the sacredness of everyday life, examining the nature of mystical experiences, the importance of love, and how grief can lead to deeper spiritual understanding. Before we dive into the interview with Mirabai, Mike and Paul catch up with Richard at his hermitage to hear his reflections on the first chapter of Eager to Love. Mirabai Starr is an award-winning author of creative non-fiction and contemporary translations of sacred literature. She taught Philosophy and World Religions at the University of New Mexico-Taos for 20 years and now teaches and speaks internationally on contemplative practice and inter-spiritual dialog. A certified bereavement counselor, Mirabai helps mourners harness the transformational power of loss. Her latest book, WILD MERCY: Living the Fierce & Tender Wisdom of the Women Mystics, was named one of the “Best Books of 2019”. She lives with her extended family in the mountains of northern New Mexico. Resources: A PDF of the transcript for this episode is available here. Grab a copy of Eager to Love here.
