We're already a quarter of the way through Series 8, and KC and Sue talked for nearly two hours about the first three episodes featuring the new Doctor, played by Peter Capaldi. Don't worry, though - it has been edited down to a much more manageable 52 minutes (or so).  Please remember that we both only saw each episode once and that these episodes are "first reactions" to the episode.  Don't expect too much analysis.  There will be some, however, because we just can't stop ourselves. ****THIS EPISODE CONTAINS SPOILERS**** To help you avoid said spoilers and still listen, if you want, here are some time codes:01:15 - Thoughts on the new title sequence03:30 - Capaldi first impressions06:30 - Deep Breath (KC and I disagree about something!)19:10 - Into the Dalek28:35 - Robot of Sherwood33:00 - General thoughts so far (including some general Moffat crit around the 38 minute mark and also some things we forgot earlier.)40:45 - An email from listener Marcus and our responseAnd stay tuned to the very end for over 2 minutes of ridiculous outtakes. It's the series finale of Doctor Who and Your Moment of Who!  If you've been listening, you know that KC and I haven't been too thrilled with the season to this point.  But all of that's changed with these last three episodes!  So, if you're sick of hearing us whine, you're in luck! No you get to hear us gush...  But first thing's first - we respond to some feed back from regular emailer Andrew, and discuss some more opinions about the first few episodes with Clara and her story that far.  Then it's on to the new stuff - Spoilers, Sweetie - we discuss "The Crimson Horror," "Nightmare in Silver," and "The Name of the Doctor."  And we, of course, can't help but delve into some of the rumors and possible spoilers that have been going around regarding the 50th Anniversary Special in November. (Don't worry - a second spoiler warning is given.)  And no Moment of Who would be complete without a few jabs at River Song.  ;)

The lads get their teeth into Neil Gaimans highly anticipated story, Nightmare In Silver, that promised to make the Cybermen scary again.  Well, that is certainly a bold claim and not one that goes unchallenged!  Oh no, Phil and Paul have differing views on this weeks episode which leads to Phil having an internal struggle before the leprechaun on his shoulder tells him to burn stuff, while Paul does his best to change Phil's mind only to fail miserably.  Phil also takes a moment this week to think of Jeri Ryan as Seven of Nine.  A very long moment in fact.  There is also a lot of talk about fanwank that could lead to blindness and they also briefly talk about She Said, He Said, the epilogue (yes, epilogue!) to The Name of The Doctor. And in this weeks news, in the absence of any overnight viewing figures for Nightmare In Silver they make some up instead, news on showings for the blu-ray editions of the Peter Cushing Dalek films and in 50th Anniversary news, a photo of Matt Smith that has set tongues wagging and John Hurt lets the cat out of the bag which Phil and Paul talk about.  Sort of.

Here we go again!  Kasey and I set out to talk about episodes 8-10* of Doctor Who, Series 7 - "Cold War," "Hide," and "Journey to the Centre of the TARDIS."  Of course, because it's us, we got a little sidetracked.  So, you'll also hear about Arthur Darvill's stint on Broadway in the Tony-winning musical "Once," and how I thought he did when I was there last Saturday.  And also, how not to behave when you go to see an actor you know from genre TV do another project.  Plus, our hopes for the remainder of Series 7, frustration over what appear to be several let-downs so far, and our nervousness and skepticism over the up-coming episode titled "The Name of the Doctor." As always:  SPOILERS MAY BE CLOSER THAN THEY APPEAR. *Okay, so our episode numbering got wonky.  I was following the tardis.wikia numbering, which originally put the Christmas special as Episode 6.  Which made "The Bells of Saint John" and "The Rings of Akhaten" Episodes 7-8.  But now, the Christmas special is not being considered a numbered episode....  Whatever.  So, in the interest of conformity, episode numbers for the last Moment of Who are incorrect.  Oh well. And in the news this week, the announcement of an official convention to celebrate the 50th Anniversary and also a recap on the news they missed out on during the last couple of weeks including the Ice Warriors makeover for series 7, and the perils of press releases giving away major plotlines.

This week, Phil, Paul & Tony continue with their audio commentary for Destiny of The Daleks episodes 3 & 4.  They apologise profusely as Tony's facts get more laboured, the story gets worse and the three of them lose the will to live.  They manage to get out alive though before the listeners at their door with flaming torches and pitch forks. And in the news this week, Phil & Paul are joined by a new invention: Robot Tony!  He helps them go through this weeks massive news stories which are: the air date for series 7 part 2 is revealed, the alleged running time for the 50th Anniversary special, the Daily Mirror rip off a news story from another paper and Adam Woodyatt wants a part in Doctor Who.  Yes, you did read that right.

It's the first audio commentary of the year, so that means once again Tony returns to the fold to join Phil & Paul in getting through Destiny of The Daleks episodes 1 & 2.  This one is real struggle folks!  The lads do their best to keep their spirits up in this shoddy run down Daleks, Stevie Wonder disco wigs and ill fitting Davros masks but try as they might, this one gets the better of them!  Tony tries desparately to inject some humour into proceedings with his facts but these fall flat in the face of this dreadful story! And in the news this week the January releases from Big Finish, news of an actor who would like to return to Doctor Who and one actress who isn't and a return to Omega's Tat Corner with some overpriced glittery tat that wouldn't look out of place on QVC.

And in the news this week there are plenty of surpises in store for this years Christmas special, The Snowmen and updates on next years BFI 50th Anniversary events and DVD releases. This week Phil and Paul return to Doctor Who in its audio format with a look at Big Finish Productions story Project: Twilight, a story of South East London gangsters (shut it you slags!) and vampires.  Find out whether this story holds up for them or does it have no bite? (I am so sorry for that bad play on words.  I shall ruminate on my behaviour and it will not happen again.  Thank you.) And in this weeks news we find out when Doctor Who returns to our screens in 2013, the sad passing of two of the UK's legends of broadcasting in which Phil confuses his Kenneth's and the results of a recent of Doctor Who memorabilia auction.  And Omega's Tat Corner makes a welcome return to the show with a very expensive but snazzy piece of tat and more disappointing figures to collect.

In this weeks edition of the Who's He? Podcast, Paul and Phil turn their attention to the Target novelisation of The Tenth Planet.  Unfortunately after a few weeks of the lads being reasonably happy, they return to form as they do not like this book.  Not one bit.  So much so, Paul forgets how to count and throws his A Level Maths certificate on the fire and Phil goes down a dead end in the conversation. And in the news the TARDIS gets a makeover for Christmas, find out who is voicing the villainous Snowmen, some DVD news and the ghost of Jon Pertwee returns to haunt Paul.  Also keep listening right to then end this week as Paul has his soul dirtied.

At the second time of asking, Phil and Paul are giving it another go with Smith and Jones, the series 3 opener.  This time they are a bit more with it but get easily sidetracked along the way with a discussion on the Doctor kissing his companions - does it still shock or is it old hat now?  Phil also manages to get in an impression of Terry Scott and during the recording Paul is visited by the ghost of Jon Pertwee. And in the news this week, a few items on the 50th Anniversary including events at the BFI next year, Christopher Eccleston being coy about his involvement and what's going on with the good Doctor at Christmas this year with a quick run-down on what ex-Who actors are appearing in panto this year and there's also a brief return to Omega's Tat Corner!!  Just watch out for John Barrowman in panto this year, he'll have your eye out!
