Australia's leading charity for eating disorders has launched a new campaign in collaboration with top AFL players to shed light on body dissatisfaction in sporting environments. The Butterfly Trophies Lunch, which took place at the Melbourne Cricket Ground on Wednesday, also calls for more support for young athletes struggling with building positive body images.
With weapons concealed, ten young men discreetly entered the Melbourne Cricket Ground in 1959 as thousands gathered for one of the world-renowned Billy Graham crusades. Their purpose was both singular and sinister: to assassinate the legendary evangelist on the very podium from which he boldly declared the gospel. Ready to fire, the men awaited the signal. But just as one of them—a deeply troubled teen who'd been devastated by the loss of his father at an early age—readied himself to pull the trigger, he heard a mysterious voice calling to him. What happened next is sure to leave you with godly goosebumps and provide the powerful reminder that God lovingly and steadily pursues those who are far from Him.

Cricket-mad Mihir flew in from LA to tick off his bucket list ambition of attending a Boxing Day Test. We reminisce about the early days of single-port laparoscopy and talk about what robotic surgery does (and does not) bring to single-port surgery. The build-up to the Boxing Day Test match at the Melbourne Cricket Ground has been fiery. India superstars Virat Kohli and Ravindra Jadeja have been the centre of attention for the Australian media. The host media targeted the India duo with bizarre allegations ahead of the 4th Test match. While Kohli was accused of misbehaving with a female reporter, the press accused Jadeja of not entertaining questions in English. While both allegations were busted later, did Australian media cross a line with the Indian team?If the whole media vs players has been one of the talking points this week, the teams have had more drama. Ravichandran Ashwin opted to retire and fly out in the middle of the tour; the Australian team management snubbed a young batter after just 3 Test matches. Both teams are expected to field fresh line-ups for the Boxing Day Test. But which team has the upper hand? India - who will be playing at their traditional stronghold in Australia? David Jenyns is an entrepreneur, business leader, and Founder of SYSTEMology. The business offers a cloud-based solution that creates, shares, and optimizes business processes and standard operating procedures (SOPs). In his early twenties, David sold the Melbourne Cricket Ground and has since expanded into franchising retail clothing stores and digital agencies. He is also the host of Business Processes Simplified Podcast, where he interviews leading guests in the industry and dives into depth on his own process. In this episode… Every business is built on processes, and countless software systems and services are created to make them better. However, many of them fail to fundamentally change anything within the corporation. The same old processes continue to be hurdles, and often make matters more complicated. So how do you simplify systems in a tangible way? David Jenyns has devoted much of his career to this question. As an entrepreneur, he has felt the same pain points as other leaders and has applied himself to solving the issue. His latest business seeks to simplify and refine the mundane processes that slow down progress. This is how his approach works in action. In this episode of Access To Anyone, Michael Roderick interviews David Jenyns, the Founder of SYSTEMology, to discuss his insights on simplifying systems. They touch on the misconceptions surrounding systematization, which tools actually lead to improvement, and staying ahead of the curve.
This episode's guest, David Jenyns is a strong advocate for the importance of systemizing businesses to grow and scale. David is an experienced entrepreneur who sold the Melbourne Cricket Ground in his early twenties and founded Melbourne SEO Services. He systemized himself out of that business in 2016 and founded SYSTEMology to help business owners implement systems to scale their business. Today, he supports a growing community of certified SYSTEMologists, delivers workshops, keynote addresses, hosts a podcast, and is on a mission to free business owners worldwide from daily operations. He shares the benefits of systemization, such as increased efficiency and reduced stress. He offers suggestions on how to organize and document processes for better ease in delegation of tasks. David emphasizes the need to delegate responsibility and free up higher skilled team members to work on tasks they are best suited for. This approach can result in not only higher efficiency, but also a more streamlined and profitable business. Business owners who prioritize systemizing their business can enjoy these benefits and more. Anyone can build a systems-driven business with the right team members in place. Business owners do not have to be the ones to do the documentation themselves, but rather they can work with a systems champion on their team to help develop and implement the necessary processes. Opportunities arise all the time, but many business owners are too busy to recognize them. By documenting and implementing systemized processes, business owners can better identify opportunities and have the bandwidth to take advantage of them. Systemization can also lead to a more organized and less chaotic workspace, where employees can thrive and work more effectively. Continue the conversation. The All Blacks battered the Wallabies on Saturday night, retaining the Bledisloe Cup and the Rugby Championship with a 38-7 win at the Melbourne Cricket Ground. Australian coach Eddie Jones had suggested his side were up for the match in the lead up, with an All Black loss potentially harming New Zealand's economy, and deciding the election. Perhaps Chris Hipkins can sleep easy, for now, after Ian Foster's men eased to victory. Rugby writer Jamie Wall spoke to Guyon Espiner.
In the third episode, Rajdeep and Nikhil delve into the 1992 Cricket World Cup, which was co-hosted by Australia and New Zealand. Rajdeep vividly describes the imposing amphitheater that was the Melbourne Cricket Ground, where he witnessed some of the thrilling matches. This World Cup marked several significant milestones, such as it was the first time the tournament took place in the Southern Hemisphere, and it also signified the beginning of cricket's commercialization.“While the English adhered to cricket as a tradition, the Australians recognized the evolving era of entertainment in sports,” Rajdeep says. The 1992 World Cup introduced several groundbreaking changes. For the first time, white balls replaced red balls, posing a challenge for fast bowlers who were unaccustomed to this alteration. Additionally, fielding restrictions underwent modifications, adding to the excitement of the matches.Surprisingly, New Zealand outperformed many celebrated teams during this World Cup, showcasing their cricketing prowess. For India, the 1992 World Cup was a momentous occasion as it marked the debut of the young prodigy, Sachin Tendulkar, who astounded everyone with his talent and skills. Conversely, it was also the last World Cup for the legendary Kapil Dev.Rajdeep's memories from that time are centered not on the Indian team but on Indian journalists meeting the cricketing legend Don Bradman. The 1992 World Cup also saw the return of South Africa to international cricket after a 2-decade ban due to apartheid. Their comeback brought a breath of fresh air to the cricketing world.Listen in to more of the untold stories!Produced by Anna PriyadarshiniSound Mix by Sachin Dwivedi
