I sat down with NFL veteran Morris Claiborne to talk music, family, and more. Great interview!
The latest Dallas Cowboys news includes the Chidobe Awuzie Hamstring Injury that will sideline him for multiple weeks according to the latest Cowboys reports. Awuzie suffered the hamstring injury in week 2 vs. the Atlanta Falcons. He could potentially be placed on IR & be eligible to return in three weeks. The Cowboys are pretty thin at Cornerback, so NFL free agency or a Cowboys trade could be in play. Who are the top Chidobe Awuzie replacements the Cowboys could sign or trade for? Cowboys rumors are set to REALLY heat up about roster moves at CB. There are some options for Cowboys at CB in both free agency and the trade market. Of course, we can’t ignore the fact that Earl Thomas is still on the market. Perhaps Jerry Jones & Mike McCarthy can make something shake before week 3 vs. the Seattle Seahawks. There isn’t a great internal option on the roster for Dallas.. Daryl Worley hasn’t played well, Brandon Carr hasn’t gotten much action & Reggie Robinson is still a rookie who isn’t ready to step into the spotlight just yet. In free agency, on the other hand, Prince Amukamara & Morris Claiborne are seasoned veterans who could be short-term answers at CB2. In the trade market, a player like William Jackson might make sense for the Cowboys. NO, Dallas WILL NOT trade for Stephon Gilmore or Patrick Peterson. “So quit askin’.” - Nick Saban Voice. Here’s the list of Chidobe Awuzie Replacements: Internal Options: - Daryl Worley - Reggie Robinson - Brandon Carr Free Agent Targets: - Earl Thomas - Prince Amukamara - Morris Claiborne - Tramon Williams Trade Target: - William Jackson Cowboys News: Subscribe to the Cowboys Report YouTube channel - the #1-most watched channel on YouTube! https://www.youtube.com/dallascowboysreport?sub_confirmation=1 Give our Cowboys Facebook page a LIKE: https://www.facebook.com/cowboysworlddallas/ DM Tom for the Jersey deal on Twitter: https://www.twitter.com/whatgoingdowney Get your Cowboys news & rumors on our website: http://www.chatsports.com/dallas-cowboys
It is Thursday, which means it is podcast mailbag day. Thanks to everybody who sent in questions for this week's show. There wouldn't be a mailbag show without mailbag questions, and it was a big response this week. We had so many that I'm thinking of doing a second mailbag on Friday just to try and get to all of them. Today we look at the floor and ceiling of Frankie Luvu, what options remain at the center position, whether Muhammad Wilkerson is worth bringing back on a cheap deal, whether high-risk high-reward is the best strategy in the Draft, whether the Jets should explore a trade of Darron Lee for Pittsburgh's Artie Burns, whether Lee could have a productive role on the team this season, and whether the team should push to bring back Morris Claiborne. Coming off an exciting win over the Chiefs, hopes were high the Jets could keep the momentum going in Week 14. The Denver Broncos entered this game playing terrible football. Unfortunately, a game against the Jets was just what the doctor ordered for Denver. The Broncos defeated New York 23-0 in Sunday's Week 14 game dropping the Jets to 5-8 and likely putting the finishing touches on their Playoff hopes.Despite how things looked on paper, there were plenty of reasons to be concerned about this matchup going in. The Jets failed to execute on a number of early plays and things just snowballed from there. We will talk about all of this on today's podcast along with the struggles of key players, namely Morris Claiborne and the offensive line.We will also talk about where the Jets go from here. There might not be much of a decision to make as Josh McCown broke his hand, which might mean the end of his season. Even in a world where that didn't happen, it probably would be time to get some younger players experience. We will discuss this on today's show. Learn more about your ad choices.
