I've decided that the biggest challenge we have in AI is now keeping track of the new words being created. Words like harness, layer, mesh, vector, orchestrator, tools, surface, memory – they all mean very special things. And engineers and marketing people keep dreaming up new ones (spine? pattern? control plane? MCP? LangChain? headless? MCP? mesh? ontology?). In this podcast I do my best to explain what these words mean, and give you a non-technical understanding of how all this stuff works. If people like this I'll keep you up to date on all these new words. New Words:invention /ɪnˈvenʃn/:n. For me, the two most famous Chinese inventions, one is chopsticks (Kuaizi),because your hands are very dirty. Sticks, even if you find the sick on the floor, is more clean than your hands. And the second thing is tea and hot water. In the seventeenth and eighteenth century, people were dying all the time because the water was bad, even if you don't realize it. You boil it to make tea. But when you boil it, you kill the bacteria. So probably chopsticks and tea, boiling water were more important for human health than antibiotics.

Why is it that some mistakes in a foreign language sound worse than others? It's unfair, but some things Hebrew learners say sound more cringy to the Israeli ear than others. Guy Sharett teaches us what mistakes make Israelis cringe so we can try to avoid them at all costs! Visit today's blog post here. At the start of my business, I actually Googled, "How do I get clients without selling?"... Anything but having to be icky and cold DMing people. Or making them feel small in order to get them to buy. I felt a shrinking, a contraction, a nervousness. Then I had an ah-ha moment. What if instead of 'selling' I could just 'invite' people in a kind, clear, direct, pressure-free way to my programs? What if it could feel light and easy and generous? And then it really did start to feel that way. In this episode, I'm sharing 7 EXACT reframes that changed how I felt about getting clients, and my clients use these NEW WORDS to this day (I even hear them circulating online sometimes!). It may sound wild, but our words matter and can totally change how we take action and make lasting money in our business. You can use these reframes to shift how you approach selling, too. –– Connect with Anna on Instagram: @heartcentered.entrepreneur

Shakespeare's plays are filled with unforgettable women—but too often, their voices are cut short. Ophelia never gets to defend herself. Gertrude never explains her choices. Lady Anne surrenders to Richard III in silence. In her new book, She Speaks: What Shakespeare's Women Might Have Said, acclaimed actor Dame Harriet Walter imagines what those characters might tell us if given the chance. Through original poems, Walter reimagines moments of silence, expands on fleeting lines, and provides depth to women who were left without a final word. Walter invites us to see Shakespeare's plays in a new light—reconsidering how we understand his female characters, and how their voices might transform the stories we thought we knew. Walter is also well-known for her appearances in Sense and Sensibility, Atonement, Downton Abbey, The Crown, Succession, Killing Eve, and Ted Lasso, among many other notable projects. In 2011, she was appointed Dame Commander of the Order of the British Empire (DBE) for services to drama.
