In the third hour, Dan Bernstein and Laurence Holmes turned their attention to the White Sox, with Bernstein making the case for hope on the South Side. He presented the White Sox's "last-gasp grasp at optimism." Cubs manager David Ross then joined the show to discuss shortstop Dansby Swanson incurring a bloody gash above his right eye on a headfirst slide in a win Monday, catcher Yan Gomes being removed from the game after he was hit on a backswing during the first inning and much more. Later, professional golfer and Northbrook native Nick Hardy joined the program to discuss winning his first PGA Tour title recently in just his second season.

Nick Hardy had missed 5 consecutive cuts when he joined Ryan French and Any Given Monday after the Bay Hill Invitational. Despite the poor results, Hardy said he was close; if could just gain some momentum, he could turn his season around. In New Orleans - the place of jazz, creole, and rhythm - Hardy found that momentum with Davis Riley as his partner. The duo teamed up and won the Zurich Classic.
