Howdy, you Beautiful Soul!TO SEE THE VIDEO INTERVIEW GO TO CHIPFRANKS.COM/16Are you ready to play? This week I get to introduce you to a really remarkable human being, a serial Entrepreneur (seriously, if I think of an entrepreneur this guy comes to my mind) by the name of Ryan Lee!Ryan is the founder, CEO, and creative genius behind many companies--his latest two are:The Rewind Company home of the world's best tasting green drinks, with a hefty dose of 80's fun and play. And Freedym, like a Netflix for entrepreneurs with no fluff to help them in their businesses.Ryan was also given the title of ‘The World's #1 Lifestyle Entrepreneur' by Entrepreneur Magazine. He does so well, I think, in large part because of his gigantic heart and wanting to do the right thing for people each and every time. You're going to get that on this interview, as well as some great ideas about doing well in whatever business you may do.He's done this without ever taking a business or marketing class. He's extraordinarily successful in his businesses AND he cuts out of work at about 3 every day to begin his shift as the world's highest-paid Uber Driver, taking his kids and their friends to their various sports and other activities. We go DEEP (as usual) and get there pretty quickly...AFTER an 80's trivia stop. Here are some of the many things that we talk about in this far-ranging conversation about leading a better life:The lessons of being an athlete. The seeds of being an entrepreneur and why grown men would come to his door as a twelve-year-old.The good thing about Social Media (better than penpals)Working with children with special needs (we bond over this one!)"Everything you do...you know, give it everything you've got."Lessons from the kids with Special Needs--a whole world people don't know about. Why we need to include our passions, loves, and hobbies in our businesses.Money isn't the driver...this is.How Rewind gets some crazy response on their ads.Ryan's religion: FamilyWhat keeps Chip from getting depressed over finite moments in life that won't happen again.A cool little thing to do with your most loved humans every morning. What to do before starting a business. Why Entrepreneurship is the hardest thing in the world--a little story of a roller coaster day.The correct order for a business (or serving other people)! The giant sunk cost fallacy.A master class of what to do with a business! Our Moms...and 80s Trivia!MAY 6th--Ryan is hosting a LIVE online Workshop called MICRO at 11 am Eastern and ending whenever EVERYONE who is on the call has their belly full of marketing and business deliciousness. He's spilling his guts on everything, and that's a LOT.To get more info and join him and me on--check out either RyanLee.com or join his Freedym Group on Facebook!Hey, you know what I'm going to say, right? Because it's TRUE.You are loved and deserving!Chip ❤️
In this episode we explore our ceremonies related to birth and question what it means to rematriate through motherhood. What are our traditional birthing ceremonies? What about our coming of age ceremonies? How do we reclaim our sexualities? How has colonization disrupted our traditional birthing practices? Join us in discussion with AMR co-hosts Matika Wilbur, Dr.Dr.Desi and honored guest Temryss Lane, as we unpack some of these questions.Temryss is an Indigenous sports icon from the Lummi Nation. She played soccer at Arizona State, then professionally in Sweden. She went on to become a model and sports broadcaster while simultaneously getting her Master's degree in American Indian Studies from UCLA. This week we are joined by my wife, Stephanie Van Allan, who is also a working Mom and great team mate in life. She answers some questions that both Moms and Dads will want to hear as we explore what causes Moms so much stress, anxiety, and pressure. She reveals some personal examples on how to handle stressful triggers, enjoy personal time, and find a great balance between work, life, and family. This is a great episode for families dealing with the daily pressure of life and can feel the stress mount up. Our Moms carry a lot of expectations from society, friends, family, and themselves and sometimes feel as though they cannot win. This interview shows families how we can celebrate our Moms and know they are an integral part to family success. Dr. Jim Van Allan is a speaker & trainer for schools and companies across the nation. He has over a decade worth of experience helping individuals and organizations with communication, leadership, and personal development skills. He is also a Professor of Communication Studies and teaches classes on communication, public speaking, and interpersonal communication. He's also a family man and lives with his wife and two boys in South Florida. Happy Mother's Day! Listen in as Pastor Andy discusses the beauty, power, and gentleness of Moms. Our Moms may be human, but they're a vital part of God's plan.
We all love two things: Our Moms and The Internet. OK. Well we love ONE of those things. ... Moms. It's our moms. SHEESH! But sometimes these two things go together like oil and vinegar. On this week's episode we discuss, debate and deliberate how the inter-tubes and our dear sweet mamas just seem so constantly at odds in our 21st century digital world.

Follow Coach JV on IG @jvimpacts_ Follow Warrior JV on IG @jvwarrior444 If you want to start your warrior training go to www.jvimpacts.com! We have always been told that breakfast is the most important meal of the day. Let’s ask ourselves why! #1 Our Moms always told us that we need to eat breakfast because we need our energy for the day. Well let’s challenge your belief system right now. Let’s break the word breakfast in half. Break Fast Most people that are eating breakfast have for sure not broken their fast and therefore what your mother told you is wrong. Your body is still in the process of breaking down the food or fuel from yesterday and you have plenty of stored energy available. All you are doing is spiking your insulin, decreasing your growth hormone with the risk of the whole meal being stored as fat for later use as fuel. What’s the answer to all this? Listen Now! One in three black men can expect to spend some time in prison during his lifetime. Compounding the problem is that African American men receive sentences that are 20 to 50 times longer than white men for the same crime. And for women there is no difference - Black women are more likely to be jailed than any other ethnic group. So what happens to the family when a loved one is incarcerated? What about the children? And when that person gets out, then what? On the next Another View we talk frankly about incarceration and the African American family. Our guests include Dr. Melvin Cotton, former inmate, youth mentor and Senior Pastor of New Genesis Baptist Church; and Quniana Futrell, CEO, Building Resilience in Communities, and author of "Our Moms", a book for children of incarcerated parents.
We're picking up our chat about old family holiday traditions - and who better to talk to about it than our Moms?! Our Moms take over the storytelling this week as they give us a rundown on what we were like as kids, what we wanted for Christmas and the lengths they went to to make our holidays special. A warning for parents: while there's nothing explicit in this episode, it's not one you'll want to listen to with your kids (if you know what we mean)!
Some of you may or may not have heard this one before.. consider it a "Best of," while my studio is being Fixed!! How frustrating!! This is about our daughters, and how they feel about US having SEX!! Let's be real: We didn't like knowing OUR MOMS were having sex? Some things just never change! Breakfast is the most important meal of the day. We have heard this our whole lives. Our Moms and Grandma's have preached the gospel of eating breakfast, but are you doing more damage than good! We all know that we should not be eating Frosted Chocolate Sugar Bombs for breakfast, but do you know that eating fruit for breakfast can be just as bad. The sugar in the fruit can not only make your blood sugar spike but also cause inflammation in the joints. That can make for a long day at work with joint and muscle pain. Dr. Greg Celaya and Mark Alyn have a great conversation on what to eat for breakfast. What breakfast foods give you the most energy and brain power for the day. The conversation works it's way to a subject very near and dear to Dr. Celaya, Gluten. Dr. Celaya talks about how the new research shows how Gluten effects the brain and can mimic symptoms of other diseases. Did you know that the research shows that there is a possible tie between Gluten and Autism. That this could explain the explosion in the number of cases of Autism and the link of Autism and boys. The part of the brain that is most effected by Gluten...The Cerebellum! The cerebellum (Latin for "little brain") is a region of the brain that plays an important role in motor control. It may also be involved in some cognitive functions such as attention and language, and in regulating fear and pleasure responses, but its movement-related functions are the most solidly established. The cerebellum does not initiate movement, but contributes to coordination, precision, and accurate timing. It receives input from sensory systems of the spinal cord and from other parts of the brain, and integrates these inputs to fine-tune motor activity. Cerebellar damage produces disorders in fine movement, equilibrium, posture, and motor learning.
