Cry Into the Wind: A True Story by Othello BachCry into the Wind is a spellbinding story of triumph over incredible tragedy, and an inspirational guide for those struggling to overcome the effects of abuse. Abject poverty, a house fire that claimed her mother's life, the loneliness of an orphanage where she was separated from her siblings… and so much more … yet nothing was able to break Othello Bach's spirit. She couldn't read until the eighth grade, yet sold her first novel to Avon Books at the age of 27. She is the author off 17 published books and has 35 recorded songs by Broadway, TV, and Hollywood stars Joel Grey, Tammy Grimes, and Sandy Duncan.“Othello Bach is a force. And this book proves it.” -- Joel Grey “Cry into the Wind” is a page-turner from beginning to end. It is a compelling story of survival and an inspiring testament to the strength of the human spirit and raw determination -- Dave Pelzer, author of “A Child Called It.”“As illustrator of four of Othello's books, I'm sure that her hilariously inventive take on life must have helped her overcome many obstacles.” -- Sandy Huffaker, nationally syndicated political cartoonist, fine artist and illustrator.Othello is a best selling multi-genre author of numerous books which range in scope and variety from suspense novels to children's books to non-fiction "How-to" books. Her memoir "Cry into the Wind," chronicles an abusive childhood, including 11 years in an orphanage. Although a non-reader until the eighth grade, she wrote and sold her first novel to Avon Books when she was 22. Othello often composes music and lyrics to accompany her children's stories, and celebrities Joel Grey, Tammy Grimes and Sandy Duncan have recorded her books and songs. She is a motivational speaker who loves to share "the tools" that helped her overcome an abusive past.https://www.amazon.com/Cry-Into-Wind-True-Story/dp/1522890521/ref=sr_1_1?crid=1GHZGGPHF878E&keywords=Cry+Into+the+Wind%3A+A+True+Story&qid=1662839358&sprefix=cry+into+the+wind+a+true+story%2Caps%2C249&sr=8-1https://www.othellobach.com/http://www.bluefunkbroadcasting.com/root/twia/obachec.mp3

We'd LIKE you to know that Wicked is a musical with music and lyrics by Stephen Schwartz and a book by Winnie Holzman. It is based on the 1995 Gregory Maguire novel Wicked: The Life and Times of the Wicked Witch of the West, which is based on the characters and setting of the 1900 novel The Wonderful Wizard of Oz by L. Frank Baum. The original production of Wicked premiered on Broadway at the Gershwin Theatre in October 2003. Its original stars included Adele Dazeem as Elphaba, Kristin Chenoweth as Glinda, and Joel Grey as the Wizard. The original Broadway production won three Tony Awards and seven Drama Desk Awards, while its original cast album received a Grammy Award. On October 28, 2019, with its 6,681st performance, it surpassed Les Misérables to become Broadway's fifth-longest running show. So there you go. Lotte Lenya (Schneider) OPENING DATE: Nov 20, 1966 CLOSING DATE: Sep 06, 1969 PERFORMANCES: 1,165 SYNOPSIS: American Clifford Bradshaw takes up residence in pre-war Berlin. While there he becomes enamored with cabaret singer Sally Bowles, and her divine decadence. As the Nazi's rise to power, Cliff wonders if he must flee Germany or take a stand against the Third Reich. Harold Prince's staging of Cabaret took audiences by surprise as it tossed aside all manner of theatrical conventions, reflecting the audience back at itself through a large mirror and challenging them with diegetic and nondiegetic song and dance routines. Taboo subject matter including queerness, sex, antisemitism, abortion, and the Holocaust came to the forefront of a Broadway musical for the first time. Bruce Kimmel explores the impact of the various elements that made Cabaret a seismic event. From the authentic performances of Lotte Lenya and Jill Haworth to the Weimar infused score of John Kander and Fred Ebb, as well as the star-making turn of Joel Grey, each element of this groundbreaking musical is explored to underline its collective power. Bruce Kimmel is a legendary Grammy-nominated producer of theatre music on CD, having produced over 180 albums, including Broadway and off-Broadway cast albums, singers, and concept recordings. He is also an award-winning songwriter and the author of twenty-one books. He wrote, directed, and starred in the cult movie hit, The First Nudie Musical, and co-created the story for the hit film, The Faculty, directed by Robert Rodriguez. As an actor, Mr. Kimmel guest-starred on most of the long-running television shows of the 1970s. Is it an homage to classic 70's kung-fu movies, complete with an old master teaching a young and impatient prodigy the mystic and ancient ways of combat? Perhaps it's a tongue-in-cheek popcorn action movie, poking fun at itself while projecting chaotic and entertaining action sequences with reckless abandon? Or is it a poignant commentary on shadow organizations and the futility - and risks - of embracing an assassinate evil policy to address the world's issues? Well, your guess is as good as ours, and we're pretty sure the people who made this movie didn't know either. Just like the pile of vomit Benny's dog helpfully deposits on the one patch of carpeted floor in the house every week, Remo Williams: The Adventure Begins is a jumbled patty of everything mentioned here - vomit included. Hold on to Ferris wheels, steel pipes hanging off the side of the Statue of Liberty, and any other ridiculous object you can grasp as we try our best to understand what the hell is going on in this movie. We're pretty sure Remo Williams was supposed to cash in on all of the crazy action movies tearing up the box office at the time, but fell victim to a combination of starring someone no one has ever heard of before (or after), and being absolutely bonkers-level insane. Seriously, we have no idea what happened in this thing, or why, or how. We just know that it was two hours of absolute insanity. And not good insanity, like a pile of puppies all fighting to give you kisses. We're talking bad insanity, like when you drop napalm-quality farts in the car, and secretly lock the windows so you can revel in your family members crying, frantically fumbling with buttons, and dry heaving uncontrollably. Happy summer! If you can stomach it, strap in while Jay and Benny waste your time discussing such things as: Remo's elderly Asian instructor wasn't played by an Asian person. Let's just get that out of the way Remo Williams won an actual, for real Oscar for makeup, because of the work done to make someone non-Asian look Asian. We'll get that out of the way as well One final thing to get out of the way: Chiun is far and away the best character in this movie, and almost makes it worth the watch. Joel Grey's acting is fantastic, the lines he delivers are well-timed, and he's the most likeable person in this entire disaster While completely unintentional, this movie does a great job making the audience really think about the implications of assassination. Killing off the world's worst people sounds great in theory, but is it? Remo's training throughout the movie feels like it's less martial arts, and more a mix of goofy parkour and kids on YouTube risking their lives for a few likes At one point, the bad guys pay three random construction workers $20 each to literally murder a human being. And they have absolutely no problem with this arrangement Remember in The Matrix, when Neo dodged bullets and it was the coolest thing you had ever seen? Well, Remo dodges bullets as well. It is absolutely not the coolest thing you have ever seen Someone get me the name of the dog trainer used in this movie, because the guard dogs that attack Remo are smarter than Benny. That isn't saying much, but still Fred Ward, who played Remo, has a filmography with Tremors and Joe Dirt at the top of it. Just saying
