Kulturvisioner på Borgen: Det er ikke så tit, at kulturen står højt på den politiske dagsorden, men i øjeblikket nævnes ordet "kultur" faktisk jævnligt i mødelokalerne på Christiansborg: Politikerne diskuterer finanslov, og flere partier har kulturtiltag på ønskelisten. Kulturen på P1 kortlægger politikernes kultur-krav. Kvindefattig kanon: Når de danske skolebørn får læselektier for i dansk, vil det være et fåtal af gangene, at den tekst, de skal høres i næste dag, er skrevet af en kvinde: Kun to af de 14 værker i folkeskolens obligatoriske læsekanon har kvindelige forfatternavne på bogryggen. Nu forsøger en almindelig borger at skabe et politisk stormløb for at få rettet op på skævheden: Marie Larsen Skole er navnet, og hun lægger vejen forbi Kulturen på P1s studie i dag. Gammel kinesisk lærdom anno 2020: Confucius, Konfucius, Kong Fuzi, Kon-fut-se eller Kung Fu-tzu: Man kan være uenige om navnet, men det er ikke til diskussion, at de overvejelser, den kinesiske filosof gjorde sig om moralske værdier for 2500 år siden, har haft kæmpe betydning for det kinesiske samfund. Også vi her i vesten har meget at lære af den gamle filosof, mener Kina-eksperten Bent Nielsen, der har brugt 16 år på at skrive et digert værk om Confucius. Kulturen på P1 taler med ham. Den værste anmeldelse: "Inger Christine Løwes debutroman Cherry er ikke ret lang, men den burde være kortere." Anmeldelsen er nådesløs nedrakkende - og den er skrevet af forfatteren selv.
